Sayo has long, straight teal hair and burgundy eyes. In her school uniform, she wears a yellow tie with a green collar and skirt. She also has dark grey socks with brown shoes. As Blue Magic, she wears a teal version of Tres Magia's magic suit. When in La Verita, she wears what appears to be a version of a shrine maiden's outfit.

personality

Sayo is a calm and collected person, part of which is attributed to her being a shrine maiden. As shown in the flashback that led to her making the decision to become a Blue Magician, she is also a brave person who does not hesitate to help others. However, after fighting Magia Baiser, she begins to change. She becomes more aggressive, fights recklessly, and puts herself in danger. Due to being restricted and tormented by Schiavo several times, Sayo has developed a masochistic side and is eager to be attacked by Baiser again. Realizing this, she develops a kind love for Baiser and is completely unaware of it. However, after multiple battles, the hatred changes and turns into an obsession with being "punished" by Baiser. After the midnight duel with the Enormita member, Sayo is completely submissive to Baiser, crawling on the ground, drooling lustfully, and begging to be punished further, even going so far as to try to lick Baiser's feet. When Baiser kicks her and gives her a scathing lecture expressing his disbelief and disgust, Sayo regains her composure and throws herself into training with renewed vigor. However, her masochistic tendencies are still strong, as she would pretend to be meditating under a waterfall while Tres Magia was training, when in reality she simply wanted to feel pleasure from the intense pressure being applied to her entire body. It got to the point where she obtained the La Verità transformation so she could indulge in her masochism without anyone noticing, though Kaoruko was able to tell instantly. Her masochism and obsession with "fighting" Enormita has reached the point where she shows envy when Magenta or Sulfur get the chance to fight them but she doesn't, as seen when she looks on in envy and drools after seeing Magenta without panties after the fight. The latter fought against Alicia Nero. Recently, she has been troubled by sleepless nights.

Trans-Magic (変身, Toransu Majia) is a power that transforms Sayo into her Blue Magic form. Sayo can perform Trans-Magic by using a transformation heart provided by Vatz. Recognition Inhibition (認識阻害, Ninshiki Sogai) is an ability that prevents people from recognizing a transformed magic user. Condensation Manipulation is Sayo's main magical ability as a Blue Magician. She uses her magic to condense moisture from the air into swords made of ice. She can also use it to freeze enemies. La Verità (真化, translated as "True Form") is a transformation ability in which a magical girl's feelings overflow and advance to the next phase, transforming her into a new form. Sayo's La Verità form is called The Verglas Maiden (薄氷巫女, translated as "Maiden of the Shrine of Thin Ice"). While transforming, Sayo is bound by ribbons emanating from her transformation heart and emits a brilliant light that destroys enemies around her. Secretly, however, she obtained this transformation due to her strong desire to enjoy Baiser's "punishments" without others noticing; the transformation causes her to display an icy personality to all who see her, but internally she is free to enjoy as much as she wants. Winged Robe: Pure Blue Sword Form (羽衣・白藍剣之型, Hagoromo Shiraai Tsurugi no Kata) is a robe that manifests when Sayo is in her La Verità form. The robe's ribbons are capable of transforming into solid ice blades, which are used to strike enemies, but can also be used to flexibly grab and freeze her enemies. Love Avalanche (愛のアヴァランチ, Ai no Avaranchi) an attack that reflects an enemy's attack back at them. It was used to counter Enormita's attack "All Out Attack!!" Sayo is immune to Imitatio's Love Potion #13,
