At the end of the arc, she managed to be fully reborn by transferring her soul to Ryuzu Shima, named herself Omega, and traveled the world with the souls of the other five witches in a pyroxene crystalline necklace. Past Long ago, Echidna cared for everyone, thinking of people as children who needed to be protected. She allied herself with the Witches of Sin, and eventually trained Roswaal. Later, while being pursued by Hector, she and Lewes Meyer lured a group of demihumans to the Sanctuary by promising them a home, but ended up tricking them, and sealed them off with a barrier to ensure their protection. Echidna soon became interested in experimenting with immortality, creating copies of Lewes from his memories, but was unable to complete it, as she had to rescue Roswaal from being nearly killed by Hector. Willing to settle the score with him once and for all even if it would result in her death, she asked Beatrice to keep all of her knowledge in the library of Roswaal Manor, while Pack abandoned her. Some time after her encounter with Hector, she decided to create the Book of Wisdom, and soon Satella absorbed the Witch Genes, including her own. While her friends died in different places one after another due to different conditions, Echidna collected their souls, and since then developed a deep hatred towards Satella. Being the last witch standing, she was soon confronted by Volcanica, who sealed her in the Sanctuary,

so he stayed under his grave waiting for someone to do his tests to free his soul in Lewes Meyer in order to continue living.

Soul Transfer: It is a lost forbidden magic art that allows a person to move their spirit from one body to another by overwriting the soul of the target body with their own. By doing this over and over again to extend their life indefinitely, the spell was originally created by Echidna in order to gain immortality, but was unable to complete it before his demise. Instead, it was finished by Roswaal who had been using it to survive until the current era.
