Personality

Kaguya was shown to be graceful in her words and actions, suggestive of a girl raised with tender care, and she was unfazed by an angry Ryuu. Regardless, she could act the complete opposite of this if she chose to. Ryuu described her as foul-mouthed and unrefined, such as when she stripped down to her underwear because it was hot, even though there were men around. Although she came from Far East's nobility, she didn't like talking about her past due to the horrible things she did while at her country's service.[1] She was impressed by Astraea and was devoted to her. She believed in saving the masses over the few, stating that it was impossible for them to save everyone with their strength, and added that everyone would one day be forced to choose. Her views caused Ryuu to repeatedly argue with her. Kaguya is willing to show off some skin to get a discount on magic items and weapons. she shame less.

History

Kaguya was born into the Far East's nobility. As a member of the Gojou House, she was charged with protecting the laws and justice of her country. While she tried to convince herself that it made her happy to do her duty, she was sometimes forced to kill people who were not actually criminals by order of the Imperial Court.[1] At one point in her life, she met a boy from the Rokujou family, for whom she began to develop feelings. Despite suspecting that he felt the same way, Kaguya refused to believe that he saw her as more than a friend. When Kaguya was twelve, the Rokujou House rebelled and attempted a coup d'état. Despite being part of the revolution, Kaguya refused to kill the boy, as she did not believe doing so was justice.[1] Unfortunately, in response to that first act of betrayal against her country and family, Konohanasakuya-hime, a Goddess of Beauty and her patron deity, told her to forget about justice and used her Charm to make her kill the boy. After the incident, her Goddess released her status and Kaguya left the Far East.[1] After this she arrived to Orario and joined the Astraea Familia after becoming fascinated by Astraea. Although they suffered various hardships at first, she and her familia were able to quickly rise and prosper, gaining fame and recognition. At the same time, Kaguya became a recognized adventurer and managed to level up several times at a fast rate. She reached Level 4 when she was 17 years old after defeating Alfia along with the rest of her familia during the Great Feud

The magic slashes could be generated from any direction and would trap the enemy in a "certain slash area". Due to the strong bloodline of the Gojou family, all members of the family have exactly the same magic. With it a Level 3 Kaguya was able to defeat Vito, who was Level 4.

Power

Oomori commented that if Kaguya had reached Level 5 she would have been more powerful than Tsubaki.[3] Skilled Fighter: According to Ryuu, Kaguya was the strongest hand to hand combatant in the Astraea Familia. Besides her swordmanship, she also had a powerful leg techniques.[3] Her combat ability was due to the hailing from the Gojou family,[4] a family charged with performing dark jobs for Amaterasu in the Far East.[5] Apart from the techniques she inherited from her family, Kaguya knew others that she learned from Ryuu, with whom she used to share techniques while they competed with each other.[6] Tachi Techniques (太刀の技): Sword techniques which Kaguya inherited from her family. Her techniques were powerful enough for her to be proud of.[6] Iai no Tachi "Issen" (居合の太刀「一閃」): A sword-drawing technique in which the user pulls out their katana from its sheath fast and land one powerful hit. With it, Kaguya was able to take Vito by surprise and take his weapon from him even though she was Level 3 and he was Level 4 at the time. Iai no Tachi "Futaba" (居合の太刀「双葉」): A sword-drawing technique in which the user pulls out dual kodachi from their sheaths fast and land two hits. Iai no Tachi "Gokou" (居合の太刀「五光」): A sword-drawing technique which combines iai and the magic of the same name. By skillfully combining the magic along with her perfected technique, she transformed all five slashes into extremely fast iai. It is the secret killing technique of the Gojou family that has been perfected over a thousand years since the founder's time.[7]

Equipment

Equipment Higanbana (彼岸花):[8] A katana that was a second-class weapon and Kaguya's main weapon. Kodachi Futaba (小太刀・双葉): Kaguya was the original owner of Kodachi Futaba until she bequeathed them to Ryuu before sacrificing herself for the Elf. They are sharp and are considered to be fine works among all second class weapons.
