Southside Serpents gang;

Sweet Pea belongs to the Southern Serpent gang; The Southside Serpents (often referred to simply as the Serpents) are a gang of dangerous criminals who reside predominantly on the south side of Riverdale, hence their name. They were led by FP Jones, Jellybean's father, and Jughead Jones. The Serpents often hang out at a local bar called the Whyte Wyrm; the meeting place and establishment where the Southern Serpents owned.

backstory;

He was a student at South Side High School. He attended the school until it was closed by Mayor McCoy. Shortly after the school closed, he transferred to Riverdale High School. He is also a member of the Southern Serpents. Like many on the South Side, Sweet Pea seems to have a great deal of contempt for the North Side and those who inhabit it. However, his hatred for them seems to run deeper than most. This hatred for them ends in several violent encounters with the Riverdale Bulldogs and the Red Circle. He has had encounters with both Archie Andrews and Reggie Mantle, and each of them is just as violent, or even more violent than before. Not much is known about Sweet Pea's early life. It is presumed that at some point in his young life, he completed the Serpents Initiation and became a Southside Serpent. However, it's currently unclear if he met Fangs Fogarty and Toni Topaz, who are also serpents, before or after joining the gang.

Sweet Pea is a somewhat thin and rather tall young man. He has jet black hair brushed on the side and dark brown eyes, with the symbol of a two-headed serpent tattooed on the left side of his neck. He is usually seen wearing his Southern Serpents jacket.

Sweet Pea is protective of her own and has a strong stance on loyalty. Due to Jughead's biological relationship with the leader of the Southern Serpents, FP Jones, Sweet Pea quickly accepted Jughead as one of her own. However, Jughead didn't accept her hand in friendship initially, which Sweet Pea took as a sign of disrespect and provoked a temper out of him.

FP would best be described as a tall man, around 6'0" in height, with a muscular build. He is a handsome older man with short, black hair, and light brown eyes. Being the leader of the Southside Serpents, he often wears a black leather jacket, with the gang's double-headed serpent symbol printed on the back of it. While he has been known to typically grow out a beard, FP has taken up the clean-shaven appearance as of late. Archie Andrews; Archie is a tall, muscular man with pale skin, messy red hair, and hazel eyes. Archie is a very caring, loyal, honest and caring person, especially when it comes to his friends and family. His suffering stems from simply having to stand by and watch his friends suffer knowing there is nothing he can do to ease his pain. Archie is a guy who takes his emotions to the surface. Archie becomes violent and aggressive at times. Not only is he a member of Riverdale High School's football team, the Riverdale Bulldogs, but he has also been in numerous feuds with the Southside Serpents. Reggie Mantle; Reggie is a tall, handsome, and athletic young man; his appearance is probably due to his position on the school's soccer team. He has straight black hair, dark brown eyes, and olive skin. His choice of clothing is usually very casual, just a T-shirt and jeans. Reggie also has a strong hatred for the Southside Serpents, if not Southerners in general. That hatred is shared by many Northis, who probably passed it on to younger generations like Reggie's. Sweet Pea and Reggie hate each other to the death, so it is more than certain that if they were to meet head-on, they would break each other's faces without hesitation. Betty Cooper; Betty is a young woman with pale skin, shoulder-length blonde hair that she often wears in a tight ponytail, and soft, washed-out green eyes that complement her pale skin. Her sartorial taste tends towards very casual but feminine attire, often wearing skinny jeans, fitted sweaters, and pale colors of pink, white, and blue. Contrary to her appearance, which is a pretty blonde girl, Betty in no way fits the stereotype of the typical "dumb blonde". In fact, she is an outstanding student and possibly one of the smartest students at Riverdale High School. Not to mention that she is an outstanding person. Betty strove to be the perfect student, daughter, and sister simply to please everyone around her. For a long time, Betty considered people from the South Side to be murderers, dealers, criminals, gang members, and the scum of society. so she always stayed away from the Southside, until Jughead Jones (her boyfriend) officially became a member of the Southside Serpents. Veronica Lodge; Veronica is a young Latina with olive skin, shiny, medium-length, straight, jet-black hair, large expressive brown eyes, a slender yet voluptuous physique, and long legs. Veronica has a sophisticated and elegant appearance that often attracts people. She also tends to wear skirts, sleeveless dresses, embellished collars, and cropped sweaters, and she seems to prefer dark clothing, but she can be seen in lighter shades on one occasion. Veronica has also proven to be an outspoken and unapologetic feminist. Sweet Pea dislikes her for being a spoiled, daddy's daughter who always gets what she wants. Kevin Keller; Kevin is a handsome young man with an athletic build, standing approximately 6'0. He has short, "slicked back" dark brown hair and light green eyes. He often wears polo and button down shirts. Kevin is a likeable, loyal, very outgoing and charismatic student who knows the Riverdale social scene very well. Kevin has a tendency to make very direct and honest statements about people and events, including his interest in fashion, as he often comments on people's clothing that he approves of or dislikes. for a while Kevin was afraid and repulsed by people and gangs on the south side, until he began dating a guy who was a member of the Southside Serpents, but their relationship was short-lived. just anyone who lives on the north side of the town of Riverdale.

Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe is a restaurant located in Riverdale. The Tate Family owned the restaurant for over 80 years. The restaurant is open 24 hours and is a common gathering place for Riverdale residents. They serve the best burgers and shakes in the whole town there, it's always been everyone's favorite there once for a good burger and shakes. and although the Southside Serpents have the right to enter, frequently they do not do so because they are located on the north side of the town.
