Persona Attributes

Homeroom teacher for 1-A

Shota Aizawa (相あい澤ざわ消しょう太た, Aizawa Shōta?), also known as the Erasure Hero: Eraser Head (イレイザー・ヘッド, Ireizā Heddo?), is a Pro Hero and the homeroom teacher of U.A. High School's Class 1-A. Shota is a slender and tall, pale-skinned man with messy, shoulder-length black hair that partially hangs in front of his face and half-opened black eyes. He is usually recognized for his worn-out appearance,[5][6] often looking fatigued. His facial hair is almost always in a stubbly, unkempt state (unless he needs to look good for the press), and his eyes tired and flat unless he's in combat. He sports a baggy black outfit that consists of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that tuck into his boots. He also wears a utility belt and his signature wrap scarf at all times. He hides a pair of bright yellow goggles underneath his scarf for when he needs to use them in battle. Shota is a very stern and reserved man who has lofty expectations of his students. He is primarily motivated by logic and does not believe in the necessity to maintain a clean-cut appearance or filter his words or ideas for others. He often comes off as cold, apathetic, and impatient, exerting very little energy in most situations, preferring to take naps in his sleeping bag instead. As a teacher with notoriously high expectations, Shota is known to expel students who he feels are not suited for U.A. High. However, it's revealed that this high expulsion rate is only on paper and that he actually re-enrolls the students he expels: Shota does this so they can experience "death" once, giving them an experience that drives them to push even higher.[13] Although it is noteworthy that he has not expelled any students from Class 1-A yet, despite being well-known for doing so.[14] He can be rigid and strict when necessary and has little tolerance for disobedience.

Yuga Aoyama (Seat No. 1)

Yuga has achieved his goal, becoming a Pro Hero alongside his former classmates. Yuga is a young man with a slim build and a feminine face. He has long blond hair, worn flattened down around most of his head, spiked and sticking out to the sides at the bottom with a side fringe that slightly curves upwards before it curves down. He has notably long eyelashes and bright indigo eyes, giving him the appearance of a young prince. His hero costume consists of a bluish-black bodysuit, over which he wears a suit of metallic lavender and golden armor; a chest plate, two spherical shoulder pads, elbow-length vambraces, and knee-length boots. His chest plate has a high V-neck collar with a golden Greek fret-like trim, as with the lower diaphanous piece under the belt and the edges of the vambraces. It also comes with a long, glittery reddish indigo cape and a belt with a golden ring-shaped buckle with a blue crystal, from which he emits his Quirk, matching the smaller ones over his shoulder pads and knees. He has straight, angled golden lines running down his baggy pants, a matching set around the shafts of his boots, and a red-tinted wing-shaped visor over his eyes. Yuga initially appears to be vain and prideful, thinking of himself as superior to the rest of his classmates, especially regarding his Quirk. He exhibits flamboyant mannerisms, is fond of posing, and likes to grab the attention of those around him despite frequently getting ignored by his peers. His expression rarely changes from a closed smile, even while he speaks or gets hurt, and he's also prone to getting upset if interrupted or questioned. Quirk: Navel Laser: Allows him to shoot lasers out of his belly button.

Mina Ashido (Seat No. 2)

Mina is a girl of medium height, possibly set a little more broadly than some of her other female classmates, with, according to her profile, "healthy thighs". Due to her Quirk, her skin is a light shade of pink, and she has somewhat square-shaped eyes with black sclerae and yellow irises and notably long eyelashes below and around the sides of her eyes. Minoru Mineta once commented that "she's got a super athletic body." Her face is framed by short fluffy, unruly pink hair slightly darker than her skin. She also has two thin pale yellow horns protruding from her head, hooked squarely and leaning diagonally to opposite sides, which seem to be slightly flexible, able to bend a bit to each side. Mina is a cheerful and easygoing girl who usually displays a smile. Highly social and excitable, she loves to hang out with her friends and is shown to become very upset when denied an opportunity to be at a gathering. She possesses a strong fashion sense and likes to go shopping. Due to her athleticism and energy, Mina enjoys and is very skilled at dancing. Her demeanor becomes more strict and perfectionist when teaching others how to dance, in direct contrast to her usual happy-go-lucky nature. She is known to use her dancing to somehow pacify even those who have bad relationships with others. Quirk: Acid Generation: Mina's Quirk, Acid, allows her to generate acid from her body. She can manipulate the properties of the acid such as viscosity. Mina's main form of offense with her Quirk is to generate corrosive acid to melt her targets.

Tsuyu Asui (Seat No. 3)

Tsuyu's hero costume consists of a bright green turtleneck bodysuit, tan-colored gloves with large green buckles on each wrist guard, and two matching belts, one above her breasts, a strap at either side going around her shoulders, and one around her waist, little holes embedded into it all the way around. Two black lines run down her suit, each framed with a yellow outline, and she wears tight black boots with yellow markings in the shape of a "V" on her thighs and green webbed flippers resembling frogs' toes on her feet. She wears a headband with a color matching that of her gloves and goggles with dark green-tinted lenses attached on either side and a thin dark green mask that goes along the middle of her face. Her hair is a dark sea-green color and is very long, reaching to her waist with the ends tied together at the bottom in a large bow of hair. She has two shoulder-length clumps framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some partially swept to each side. Tsuyu is straightforward and aloof, speaking bluntly from her mind and freely expressing what she thinks about others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsu", but only by people she views as friends.[5] She commonly refers to everyone with the honorific "-chan", save for teachers and other authority figures. Quirk: Tsuyu Asui's quirk in My Hero Academia is called Frog, which gives her frog-like characteristics. These characteristics include: Frog-like anatomy Strong legs Wall clinging Long tongue Improved swimming Camouflage: Frog gives Tsuyu the ability to do many things a frog can do, making her effective in both close and long range combat. Her agility, leaping ability, and speed make her a frustrating opponent for villains.

Tenya Ida (Seat No. 4)

Tenya is a relatively tall and muscular young man with a wide frame. He has short dark blue hair, flattened neatly down and parted on the right side of his head, a small patch completely shaved near the base of his head, and rather square eyes which match the notably pointed shape of his jaw. He usually wears a serious expression, and his eyebrows seem permanently pointed inwards, quite thin and long, the far ends sharply hooked inwards, and he wears glasses with rectangular lenses. Because of his Quirk, he possesses calves that are incredibly thick, and shaped like automobile engines, with six silver exhaust pipes protruding from each leg in columns of three. He gains new mufflers after removing the old ones from his legs, with them being longer and shaped a bit differently. His hero costume consists of a dark blue one-piece suit with a high collar, over which he wears various pieces of armor, all in a pale silver, including a chest plate, a metal collar around his neck and another around his upper arm, and metal vambraces that extend past his elbows pointed at the ends. He wears a helmet covering his entire face, its sharp bevor full of holes to allow him to speak and breathe easily, and its upper piece rounded over his head with two larger holes on either side, two curved horns just behind and a single spike sticking out of the back of his head. Tenya may look severe, unfriendly, and even intimidating at first glance, but in reality, he's straightforward, earnest, intelligent, sophisticated, disciplined, and noble, although a bit clueless about personal interactions due to his elite upbringing. A testament to his generally hyperactive and intense behavior, Tenya often exhibits plenty of peculiar tics, such as moving his arms around in strange chopping patterns or sometimes twitching his body uncontrollably; yet he rarely sheds his usual strict expression. Quirk: Has the ability to perform distance attacks, such as kicking projectiles at opponents.

Ochaco Uraraka (Seat No. 5)

Ochaco is a short girl with a slender yet curvy figure, fair skin, and auburn hair with eyes that match in color. She has perpetual pink blush marks on her cheeks, and her eyes are large and round with thick upper lashes, two more extended and more prominent ones on either side and fewer but more individually pronounced lower lashes. Her hair is shoulder-length with short bangs, and the style is bobbed with two long strands framing her face. She has small, thick pads on her fingertips similar to the digits of an animal's paws; she uses these when activating and deactivating her Quirk. Her initial hero costume consists of a black, full-body suit with a pale pink design down the middle of her torso, topped with two black semi-spheres on her chest, two pink stripes starting at her midsection, a deep pink choker, and two-toned pink sleeves with cuffs. It also has matching pale and deep pink-colored accessories, including round gauntlets with handles, which are used to increase and decrease her blood pressure, chunky, knee-high boots with deep pink shock-absorbent soles and grey heels that have stiff springs in them to soften landings, and a two-piece belt with a round buckle. She sometimes wears matching headgear with a tinted visor as well, which is used to lessen stress on her ear canals. Her accessories are designed to press her acupuncture points, but the tightness of her costume was an error due to her not being specific enough in her request for its design (though it's implied that she has grown into it as she still hasn't gotten it replaced). Quirk: Ochaco's Quirk gives her the power to nullify the effects of gravity on solid targets (living and nonliving) by touching them with the pads on her fingertips, causing them to become weightless and float.

Mashirao Ojiro (Seat No. 6)

Mashirao is a muscular young man with short blond hair swept to the front of his head. He has thin eyes with no lower eyelashes. Unlike the other students in his class, he wears pale gray sneakers with his school uniform instead of the brown dress shoes worn by everyone else, and he has the bottom button of his blazer he leaves casually undone. Due to his Quirk, he also has a tail, which is entirely hairless, save for the tip. Mashirao's hero costume is a plain karate gi, tied with a black belt with blue accessories, with his collar partially lined with fur, but only on his left side. He also wears black boots with sand blue details. Before the Provisional Hero License Exam, he dons blue fingerless gloves. Mashirao has a very calm and noble attitude and a profound sense of dignity, which prevents him from accepting results he doesn't feel he earned with his own abilities. He is also described as a hard worker. Quirk: Mashirao's Quirk is that he has a long, powerful, sturdy tail. His tail effectively functions as a third arm that he can use to grab things.

Denki Kaminari (Seat No. 7)

Denki has short gold hair, parted to the right with a black lightning-shaped streak on the left of his side fringe, which is angled to partially obscure his left eye. He has slanted, somewhat triangular golden eyes and notably small eyebrows. He's slimmer than most male students in his class, with little visible muscle mass. During the Paranormal Liberation War, Denki gained a scar on his upper left forehead following his injury from Mr. Compress' attack, although his hair covers it rather well.[5] Denki's original hero costume consists of a plain white shirt, over which he wears an open black jacket with a white lightning pattern across his back, with matching pants with two lines running down his legs and brown shoes. He has a single, square-shaped earphone over his right ear, resembling a radio antenna sticking out of the top. His updated hero costume consists of a slightly shorter black jacket with fewer white patterns, only two near the hem and collar, and a yellow-rimmed white lightning bolt around each of his shoulders. He still wears matching black pants and brown shoes, but the pants only have a small white zig-zag near each of their cuffs. He wears a white belt that holds his pointer ammo with and a white V-neck shirt. Around his right wrist, he wears a wristband with a circular mechanism from which he can shoot disc-shaped Pointers, which aid him in aiming his Quirk. He also wears a black choker with a silver buckle on the left side and a headset with a blue-tinted visor. who enjoys hanging out with others. He is rather casual when interacting with other people, including the generally unfriendly Katsuki Bakugo, although he's not above petty complaining or overreacting if he feels annoyed or shocked enough. Quirk: Denki's Quirk allows him to store electricity and discharge it allowing him to cover his body in it.

Eijiro Kirishima (Seat No. 8

Eijiro is a muscular young man of average height and a rather impressive physique for his young age. He has red eyes pointed slightly inwards, and a small scar just above his right eye. He also has small eyebrows and pointed teeth. His hair is somewhat long, dyed a bright red, and spiked away from his head at all angles with gel, with two more pronounced tufts spiked on either side of his forehead like little horns. This lofty style takes a full three minutes to set. In his hero costume, he wears two dark red gear-shaped shoulder pads. A similar colored jagged sash joins the one on his left to the right side of his belt, which has a red "R" set into its center, standing for his Hero name, "Red Riot". Below this, he wears baggy black pants and red half cape with a ripped hem. He also sports dark red boots and thick rings around his calves. He leaves his chest bare, and wears a wired guard around his face, reaching from just above his hairline to below his jaw, an extra piece going over the bridge of his nose, and some spiked pieces around his mouth that resemble little fangs. Overall, the look slightly resembles an Oni, a troll-like creature commonly seen in Japanese folklore, but whether this was purposeful or not has yet to be confirmed. Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for manliness, often using the terms "manly" and "unmanly" to describe things and people he does or doesn't like, respectively. Those who showcase a noble, brave, or determined attitude tend to emotionally move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship. Similarly, he will call out traits that are the opposite of that, such as cowardice and dirty play. Quirk: Eijiro's Quirk gives him the power to harden and sharpen any or all parts of his body, causing his flesh to become jagged and rock-like.

Koji Koda (Seat No. 9)

Koji is a tall young man of a broad, muscular build with peach-colored skin. His head takes the form of a rock, which is unevenly shaped and pointed at the top of his head, and his jaw is square-shaped. From the back of his head, thick hair-like protrusions slope downwards. His hero costume is a tight yellow suit, only reaching to his knees and elbows, with a large red marking over his torso and at the ends of his sleeves. On his chest, there's a symbol resembling an open mouth, and he wears yellow shoes with red lining. In preparation for the Provisional Hero License Exam, Koji added two white straps over his shoulders and wears a mask that covers his entire face that resembles a duck's bill, with holes above over his mouth so his voice still can be heard when he's using his Quirk. His shoes were swapped out in favor of boots. Contrary to his powerful and brutish appearance, Koji is timid and quiet. As such, he rarely speaks and prefers using sign language to communicate with his classmates, so much so that Kyoka Jiro assumed that he was mute and was greatly surprised when Koji spoke. According to Fumikage Tokoyami, he is very good at keeping secrets. He also hates violence due to his kind-hearted nature. Quirk: Koji Koda's quirk is known as Anivoice, the combination of "Animal" and "Voice". This quirk allows Koji to speak to the animals of the surrounding area and use his thought speech to command them to do whatever he pleases.

Rikido Sato (Seat No. 10)

Rikido is a tall, very muscular young man with a broad build. His brown hair is short and spiked upwards away from his head. He has relatively tiny, square-shaped eyes with small black pupils and a pair of bushy eyebrows just above. Rikido bears huge, thick lips, slightly darker than the rest of his skin, and a notably large, round nose. Rikido's hero costume consists of a yellow full-body suit covering his body, the only exceptions being the holes around his mouth, eyes, and hair. He wears white gloves, boots, and a utility belt around his waist, storing small quantities of sugar inside its pouches. Rikido is interested in sweets and baking, a valuable skill due to his Quirk. He is surprisingly talented at making sweets conquering his classmates with his food. The fact that this overly optimistic reaction caught Rikido off guard suggests that he doesn't think much of his abilities as a confectioner.[5] Nevertheless, every week in the dorms, Rikido bakes sweets and shares them with his classmates, which he calls "Sugar Time". To create a gourmet night, he pairs his sweets with Momo Yaoyorozu's tea. He can cook other food, too, as shown during the Christmas party. Quirk: Rikido's Quirk allows him to increase his strength five-fold for three minutes. To activate his Quirk, he needs to consume 10 grams of sugar. When converting sugar into strength, his cognitive functions gradually drop, making him sleepy afterward.

Mezo Shoji (Seat No. 11)

Mezo is a tall, muscular young man with pale gray hair swept forwards, covering most of his face, and bent downwards at almost a right angle over his eye. He has six arms attached by a web of skin; the arms are very physically strong, and while his Quirk is not in use, only the front two arms have hands, the rest ending in thin stumps. His hero costume consists of a tight blue tank top, six white markings resembling eyes, connected at the top to a darker, more indigo-colored mask, its design the same as the one he usually wears. He has a belt with another, larger eye shape embedded into its center, this time yellow, below which he wears slightly baggy trousers to match his shirt, two darker lines running down the sides of his legs, and indigo boots. Despite his frightening appearance, Mezo is friendly and gentle and will work nicely with anyone. He is not the type to hold grudges, showing no ill will towards those that harm him unwillingly. Mezo is entirely selfless and willing to risk his life for anyone. He can be empathetic and understanding but still shows a sense of maturity and responsibility that prevents him from acting under emotional impulses, even if he feels regretful. Quirk: Mezo Shoji's quirk is the ability to transform his arms into eyes and ears. His name comes from the Japanese-style sliding door, the Messer Shoji, which has translucent panels that allow light and sound to pass through. The door is similar to the expression "walls have ears, doors have eyes", which is fitting for a character who can morph his arms into eyes and ears.

Kyoka Jiro (Seat No. 12)

Kyoka is a petite, fair-skinned girl with a slender build. She has triangular onyx eyes with notably long lower eyelashes and small eyebrows. Her dark-purple hair is chin length, with an asymmetrical fringe that has two reflections shaped like sound waves on either side. Her most prominent features are the flexible, plug-like earphone jacks hanging from each of her earlobes; they act like extra limbs that she is able to control at will, and change their length if so desired. Following the Paranormal Liberation War, she gains a small scar on her right earphone jack. During the Final War, her left ear and earphone jack are blown off by All For One. Her hero costume consists of a black leather jacket, long salmon-colored shirt with several rips at the collar and hem, black pants, and boots with stereos built into their shafts. She also has two small, triangular red paint marks just below her eyes, a plain black choker, and white fingerless gloves. Later on, her costume gains a set of headphones with two bracelets that double up as her amplifiers and she changes her face paint to two larger chevron-shaped marks. Shortly after the Final War, Kyoka wears a prosthetic in place of her left ear and earphone jack. Kyoka has a pragmatic, unenthusiastic, blunt, and teasing personality that is mostly shown to those she finds irritating, like her fellow classmate Denki Kaminari, whose cluelessness makes him an easy target for her snarky comments. Kyoka is not always like this though, as she does enjoy socializing with others, in which case she is usually nice and friendly, most notably with Momo Yaoyorozu and the other girls in her class. Quirk: Kyoka's Quirk is Earphone Jack, and it takes the form of two electrical plugs coming from her elongated earlobes. On the offensive, Kyoka Jiro can emit powerful soundwaves from her earphone jacks, and these soundwaves can blast the very earth apart with a sonic assault and throw the enemy off their feet.

Hanta Sero (Seat No. 13)

Hanta is a tall, lean young man with chin-length black hair spiked downwards, with jagged bangs coming about halfway down his forehead. He has almond-shaped eyes, usually stretched quite broad and rather large, with small pupils and straight teeth that dominate his grin; however, according to Katsuki Bakugo[5] and Present Mic,[6] he has a rather plain face. His elbows have the shape of cylindrical tape dispensers, from which he fires his Tape Quirk. His hero costume consists of a black, skin-tight bodysuit with a turtleneck, plain apart from a white design on his mid-torso area, and two yellow trimmings around each of his elbow-length sleeves. He wears white boots lined with yellow and has short white bands around his waist and the sides of his thighs, a larger one across his chest to connect his shoulder pads, shaped like tape dispensers. He completes his outfit with a yellow helmet, shaped similarly to his shoulder pads, with a sizeable black visor obscuring his face. Hanta is amicable and has proven to be one of the more sociable members of Class 1-A. He can sometimes be loud and showy, often trying to impress his peers with his Quirk. He is often the only person to call his classmates out when they act crazy. He is pretty humorous and usually makes jokes with his classmates. However, when push comes to shove, Hanta is a brave hero-in-training who wishes to prosper on his own while helping others do the same. He makes friends with those around him and is shown to be a very laid-back guy. Quirk: Hanta's Quirk is that he has tape dispenser-like organs in his elbows, from which he can shoot long cellophane tape-like strips; he can also retract them. They appear to be somewhat sturdier than regular tape. Overuse of his Quirk will cause his skin to dry out.

Fumikage Tokoyami (Seat No. 14)

Fumikage is a short young man with the head of a black bird, possibly supposed to resemble that of a crow or a raven. He has a tan, yellowish beak, which is slightly hooked down at the end, thin, red eyes with a small black pupil, one on each side of his head, and a red choker, which he rarely removes. Despite the appearance of his head, however, his body looks like an average human, with relatively fair skin. After his internship training with Hawks, Fumikage has become more muscular. After the Paranormal Liberation War, he gains a scar on his left foot as a result of Dabi's flames. His costume consists of a black robe that is tinted a dark purple where light hits it, covering his entire body, only stopping halfway down his shins and knee-high black boots. During the Joint Training Arc, it was revealed that under this cape, he wears a dark t-shirt, wristbands, baggy pants, and a utility belt with a double pin buckle. Fumikage is reserved, serious, and focused, albeit noble and valiant. Though not talking very much, Fumikage will directly ignore questions or requests that seem in some way pointless (like Tenya Ida asking him not to sit on the desk) while he talks to other people as some ongoing joke. When Fumikage teams up with others, he becomes more sociable, helping his teammates out, reassuring his trust in them, and thanking them for their effort. During combat, Fumikage is known to be fierce and dependable, with his strength and capabilities rarely being questioned. Quirk: Fumikage's Quirk, Dark Shadow, at full power, allows him to effortlessly, but uncontrollably, defeat a top-grade villain such as Moonfish.

Shoto Todoroki (Seat No. 15)

Shoto is a moderately tall and rather muscular young man who is well-built for his age, stemming from his intense training as a child. He has short hair that doesn't pass his neck, and wears bangs, parted twice to avoid obscuring his vision. His hair is evenly split between white on his right side and crimson red on his left, this unusual coloring being due to his Quirk. As another result, he also possesses heterochromia iridum, which causes his left eye's iris to appear turquoise, while his right is a brownish dark gray. His eyes, in shape, are quite thin and reserved. Additionally, he has a large burn scar on the left side of his face, which reaches from his hairline to halfway down his cheek. He usually has a serious expression. His updated hero costume consists of a dark blue heat-resistant jacket with elbow-length sleeves, its collar high, with a cooling/heating device within it and joined in the center by a gray neckpiece. His baggy pants of the same color as his jacket, a metal-plated tactical vest which now functions as both a heater and radiator and white boots similar to his initial costume, with the soles equipped with spikes and a thin line running down the center of each of them a darker pale gray. He also sports a brown utility belt around his waist, which can hold four little metal capsules containing medical supplies hanging off the front. Shoto originally had a cold, aloof personality, which stemmed from his abusive upbringing and complicated family life. Focused and unemotional, Shoto preferred to keep to himself instead of hanging out with others. Quirk: Shoto Todoroki's quirk is Half-Cold Half-Hot, which allows him to shoot flames from his left side and freeze things with his right side.

Toru Hagakure (Seat No. 16)

Toru is a reasonably short girl with a completely invisible body. She is only identifiable through held or worn objects, like clothing and accessories. Later, after refracting the light off of Yuga Aoyama's Navel Laser, it's revealed that she has long, messy, wavy chartreuse hair, with pink specks, bushy eyelashes, and big round eyes, with irises that are teal on the outside and yellow on the inside. Due to the nature of her Quirk, her hero costume consists only of a pair of simple light blue gloves decorated by pale pink lines and light brownish-gray lace-up shoes. Toru is a bubbly, cheery, and easygoing girl who does most things with an upbeat attitude, even when manipulated, such as when she encouraged the other Class 1-A girls to cheerlead during the U.A. Sports Festival due to having the spare time. She is very socially eager and likes shopping, and her room suggests that she likes plushies and other cute things. Quirk: Toru's Quirk is Invisibility, though it seems as though her powers are constantly active, as she has yet to be seen visible.

Katsuki Bakugo (Seat No. 17)

Katsuki is a young man of above-average height, with a slim, muscular build, and a fair skin tone. He has short, spiky, sandy blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright red in color. His hero costume is composed of a tight, black, sleeveless tank top, with an orange "X" across the middle, forming a V-neck. There are two dots along the left line of his collar, indicating the support company that designed his costume.[7] His costume also has a metallic neck brace worn with rectangular ends that have three holes on each side. His black sleeves reach from within his large grenade-like gauntlets to his biceps, with a thin orange tip at the end. A green and orange belt, which carries grenades, holds up his baggy pants with green straps and knee guards. He sports black, knee-high combat boots with orange soles and eight eyelets, and straps on the top. His mask is jagged and black, and as it goes around his eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare shape protrudes from each side. He showed to be extremely arrogant and condescending to those around him, often bragging of his Explosion Quirk's power, and even boasting that he would take on his entire middle school class. He showed open hostility towards Izuku, mainly because of his former Quirkless status, and would frequently put down his dream of becoming a Hero, despite lacking a Quirk, and also gave him the insulting nickname "Deku" (meaning useless and unable to achieve anything). He even threatened Izuku not to apply to U.A. High School and became angry upon both of them passing the Entrance Exam, wanting to be the only person from his middle school to make it there.Katsuki is a crude, arrogant, short-tempered, and aggressive person. Quirk: His Quirk is Explosion (爆破), which allows him to make explosions from his hands by detonating the nitroglycerin-like substance he sweats; throughout the series, he learns various different ways to apply this.

Izuku Midoriya (Seat No. 18)

Izuku is somewhat short for his age, his round face is framed by a short mop of fluffy dark-green hair which curls up at odd angles around his head, casting noticeably dark shadows onto itself. His eyes are large and somewhat circular and his irises are the same shade of green as his hair, which at times are very watery, and are usually stretched quite wide, giving him an innocent, energized appearance. He has a set of four symmetrical freckles in diamond formations, one on each cheek. Izuku has often been described as "plain-looking" or "not standing out" by others. Though he was initially very skinny, Izuku has gained toned muscles after his ten months of extensive training with All Might, and as the series progresses, these are shown to become more developed and defined as he gradually grows stronger. Izuku is a very timid, reserved, and polite boy, frequently overreacting to abnormal situations with exaggerated expressions. Due to yeаrs of being looked down on by Katsuki for lacking a Quirk, he is initially portrayed as insecure, tearful, vulnerable, and non-expressive. These traits are especially present around Katsuki, who also constantly harangued him for his aspirations to become a hero. Quirk: Izuku's quirk, One For All, can stockpile one's power, increasing the user's physical capabilities and being transferred from one person to another. Since this quirk can be passed down from user to user, the different quirks of the previous One For All holders also become embedded into One For All as well.

Minoru Mineta (Seat No. 19)

Minoru is a short teenage boy with a large, round head and rather puffy cheeks. His nose is small, stubby, and points slightly upwards, and he has an unusually distinguishable philtrum, oval-shaped eyes with large, black pupils, and notably thin eyebrows. He has a head of short dark purple hair with four large ball-shaped clumps resembling a mohawk. During school, he wears the standard U.A. uniform, but modified due to his short stature, with only one button on the jacket. His hero costume is simplistic, consisting only of a purple shirt and mask with a yellow cape, boots, and gloves. His pants are white with a lighter purple trim and stick out quite a lot around his waist. Before the Joint Training Battle, he added a stem-like detail propped up on his hair, contributing to the grape theme of his costume. Minoru is timid but perverted to the point of infamy, which makes him unpopular with the girls and even some of the boys, who consider his interests and mannerisms depraved and rude. His mind frequently trails off to lewd thoughts, even in completely unrelated situations. When an opportunity to peep at the girls arises, Minoru becomes determined to take it, although this often leads to painful results. Minoru's interest in women is one of his motivations to become a hero, alongside general popularity. He is unashamed of those traits, openly admitting them out loud. Quirk: Minoru Mineta's quirk is the ability to produce sticky balls made of his hair that can be used in a variety of ways: Projectiles: Mineta can use the balls as mid-range weapons to bind his enemies and their weapons to objects. Traps: Mineta can place the balls on the battlefield to create obstructions. Trampolines: The balls act like trampolines or springs, and the user is not stuck to them like other objects are.

Momo Yaoyorozu (Seat No. 20) (Vice class representative)

Momo is a tall teenage girl with a mature physique. She has long black hair, generally tied into a spiky ponytail with a large strand hanging on the right side of her face. Her eyes are big yet sharp, dark in color, and paired with short eyebrows set in a determined expression. Her hero costume consists of a high-collared, sleeveless crimson leotard with silver lines at her waist and around her arms, which is open to expose her skin from her neck to just below her navel. She sports calf-length red boots with heels, which dip sharply down in the center, two gold utility belts around her waist, with the back holding her books on composition information, and another thinner one around the top of her chest, below her shoulders. The design choice allows her to create items from as many points in her body as possible, as her Quirk can only be used if her skin is exposed. Momo is a very prudent, dedicated person who is a natural leader. She is levelheaded and calm in dangerous situations, but she isn't above falling into a panic. Momo is very kind, polite, and relatively reserved, yet she can be blunt with her comments about people's mistakes and miscalculations, tending to be very direct and wishing to help her peers improve enough to become great heroes, such as when she tutored her classmates at her home. Momo shows further development as a selfless hero who gets inspiration from others while also taking the role of a leader in her class, thanks to her skills and intelligence. Because of her wealthy upbringing, she has a sensible and respectful attitude toward others, often being discouraged by discourteous behavior. Quirk: Momo Yaoyorozu's quirk in My Hero Academia is creation, which allows her to create objects from any materials she imagines.

Heroics teacher: All Might

All Might was the eighth holder of the One For All Quirk after receiving it from Nana Shimura. He has since passed the torch onto Izuku Midoriya, whom he is training to be his successor. After using up all the embers of One For All to defeat All For One, All Might retired and ended his era as the world's greatest hero. In his empowered form, Toshinori is a massive man with an equally muscular and well-defined physique, his design resembling a typical Western comic book superhero. He has chiseled features on his face with a strong jawline, pronounced cheekbones, and bushy eyebrows. He has short blond hair, swept backward, with two distinct tufts sticking above his head, leaning slightly to each side. His robust features regularly cast a dark shadow over his face, hiding everything but his bright blue eyes. Toshinori's Golden Age hero costume consisted of a skin-tight blue bodysuit decorated with a red symbol that somewhat resembles a "Y", designed with a white diamond at its center, with white lines connected to it that trace from his chest to his back shoulders; the lines trimmed with the aforementioned red symbol. The symbol appeared to have wings on the side that ran from atop his torso before ending around his back, over which a similar red and white design was absent of the white diamond. Large white patches lined with red covered each side of his hips before ending at his lower thighs, and he wore a gold belt with a silver buckle with red eyes. His forearm sleeves were colored in gold; each had white lines covered in blue accents over his wrists, spiked fins on the sides of his arms, and his feet were covered in shin-length gold boots trimmed with white and red accents. All Might's hero persona appears to be derived from comic book superhero stereotypes: exuberant and filled with dramatic flair. He always protects and saves innocent people with a huge smile.

English Teacher: Yamada Hizashi

Hizashi maintains the eccentric persona of a radio host. He often poses when he talks and maintains a certain level of excitement or volume, regardless of the situation. His attitude made Kyoka Jiro mistake him for a simple announcer, rather than an actual Pro Hero.[6] When in front of a crowd of people, he often attempts to bring his audience up to his level by getting them involved (he sometimes refers to them as his 'listeners', even while on a live stage). He will continue to act this way regardless of the crowds' response. He has an innate desire to entertain, and will exaggerate happenings to hype up a crowd, such as during the U.A. Sports Festival,[7] or volunteer to commentate rather than sitting through a boring event, such as during the remedial hero license training.

Modern Literature Teacher: Ishiyama Ken

Cementoss appears to be a humanoid block of cement with black, seemingly shut eyes and gray hair tied into a short ponytail. His body shape is evenly blocky all around his body. His eyes are generally closed (but tiny when opened) and his lips are pulled upwards. His hero costume consists of a sleeveless brown suit that includes yellow stripes, shorts, and an elongated collar. He also sports gray shoes with yellow soles. Following his battle against Geten, he now has a scar on his left arm and a plate on the right side of his body. Cementoss is an often serious yet pleasant individual. He is very careful of the well-being of others. He did not allow Eijiro Kirishima to compromise All Might's identity[5] and also wanted to stop the match between Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki, noting that Izuku's injuries were serious enough to stop the bout.[6] In battle, Cementoss has proven to be quite brave and valiant, as seen when he fought against Geten during the Paranormal Liberation War, saying that Pro Heroes will give their lives while on the job.[7] Also, when the PLF lieutenant insulted him as a "dog of society", Cementoss said that he'll gladly be a dog if it means protecting the people of Japan.

Mathematics Teacher: Ectoplasm

Ectoplasm is a tall, slender man with short hair and completely blank eyes tilted inwards. Due to losing his legs in the line of duty, he uses replacement prosthetics, and when in anything but his hero attire, he wears a pair of large glasses. In his hero costume, he wears a tan cloak that covers most of his body, the area over his torso, and the high collar resembling that of a double-breasted trench coat. Underneath this, he wears a skin-tight black bodysuit with a golden striped neck area and a matching black helmet that covers his entire head, a jaw-guard attached over his nose and around his jaw, and circular mufflers. He also wears baggy dark gray pants and a pair of thin, lightweight prosthetic legs. Ectoplasm is a steadfast and unrelenting hero, which has made him highly popular.[1] As a teacher, he desires the best from his students and isn't afraid to push them; he openly warned Fumikage Tokoyami and Tsuyu Asui he would do his best to crush them during their final exams. He also told them he was looking for his students to shine under pressure.

Modern Hero Arts Teacher: Kayama Nemuri, (Known as Midnight)

Nemuri was a tall, curvaceous woman with sky blue eyes that tilted downward in the center and were framed by a set of rather long eyelashes. She had long, thick, spiky, dark purple hair, which was made up of layers of varying lengths, the longest ones reaching down below her waist. Her chin-length bangs were split into three sections: two swept to the sides and one over her face, going diagonally down to the left between her eyes. She also had a small beauty mark below her left eye, as well as red-painted nails. Her hero costume was remarkably similar to one of a traditional dominatrix. She wore a breastless, black leather leotard—similar in style to a corset—over a thin, skin-tight, white bodysuit (flesh-colored in the manga), which accentuated her voluptuous figure. The center strip of her leotard was embellished with red gemstone-like accessories in a vertical pattern, extending from her collar to her midriff. She also wore translucent, black, thigh-high garter stockings, which were attached to a burgundy utility belt decorated with gold studs around her hips, a matching pentagonal buckle in its center, and black knee-boots. She had a small red mask outlining her eyes, and a handcuff on each wrist. She was often seen carrying a flogger-style whip. The white bodysuit was made of thin material that is easily rippable, so she could more easily use her Quirk. Nemuri had stated in an interview that she was trying varied materials to find out what works while adhering to costume regulations. Nemuri was a very playful and flirtatious person with an unpredictably serious and temperamental side to her. She got angry whenever someone interrupted her or insulted her, and, when it came to insults, she was especially sensitive about her age.
