Enhancement Magic: Licht uses this magic to increase his physical abilities. Fusion Magic: Licht combines his Sword Magic with other forms of magic to create more powerful spells. Forbidden Magic: Licht uses this magic to cast spells from another world. Due to this magic, Licht's own magic is tainted by the other world, allowing the elf to resist Zagred's magic. Years later, Licht obtained a grimoire containing a four-leaf clover and saved a human girl from a magical tornado.[12] Licht befriended Tetia's brother, who also believed that elves and humans could live in peace.[13] Licht fathered a child with Tetia, hoping that it would unite the two peoples.[14] Immediately after Licht and Tetia's wedding, a group of human royalty attacks the elves and steals their magic for themselves.[15][16] Licht is the only survivor after the demon Zagred orchestrates a massacre to corrupt Licht's grimoire and take over his body. Licht comes to his senses when he sees that Lumiere was not involved in the attack. However, it is too late to stop his body from being destroyed, so Licht uses a magic stone to transform into a mindless giant demon to prevent Zagred from taking over his body.[17] Lumiere is forced to kill Licht to stop his rampage, and Licht's skeleton is turned into a memorial on the outskirts of Hajj Village. Secre turns Lumiere into a statue atop a skull using Sealing Magic.[18] Five centuries later, Patry's soul awakens in the body of William Vangeance and creates the Eye of Midnight Sun in order to complete the reincarnation of the other elves, believing it to be Licht's plan.[19] Patry asks Sally to create an artificial body for Licht. Licht was a kind and compassionate elf who sought peace between elves and humans.[6][7] He also showed a deep understanding towards both elves and humans, and a strong sense of loyalty and love towards those he considered his friends.
