Mitsuri was a young woman of average height, fair skin and slim build with a curvy and voluptuous figure. She had big eyes of a peculiar lime green and also had two moles located parallel under her cheekbones, much of the time her cheeks were rosy. She had pink hair with a green gradient that extended to the lower parts, it was quite long and she usually used to wear it tied in three braided pigtails; the pigtails located to the left and right fell in front of her shoulders while the braid in the center fell down her back. Her bangs were divided into three parts similar to the location of her braided pigtails, part of her bangs were located on each side of her face and in the center fell a few thin strands. Mitsuri was a cheerful, passionate and kind young woman. She sometimes tended to get nervous and scared easily, and she wasn't good at tolerating insults from others. She loved to love others, which was probably related to her title as the Pillar of Love. After joining the Demon Extermination Corps, she revealed that her reason for joining was because she wanted to find a man who was stronger than her, which she considered difficult due to her superhuman strength. Before becoming a hunter, at 17, she was excited to get married but ended up being hurt by her fiancé, who insulted her appearance, strength, and eating habits. This led to Mitsuri's self-esteem being damaged, generating changes in her personality and appearance into that of a weak woman; desperate for acceptance and love, she dyed her hair black and barely ate, in addition to spending most of her time thinking about whether she was doing things right and what she needed to change to please others. After realizing that her peers accepted her as she was, she also began to accept herself. Since then, she began to show herself to be quite expressive and emotional, it was normal to always see her with a smile on her face and she spent most of her time congratulating and showing appreciation for others. She didn't seem to have any problems showing her affection to others and, although she didn't always show it with words, in most of her thoughts she tended to name each of the good attributes of those around her, as she demonstrated when she saw Obanai Iguro after a while and considered that his persistence was even cooler than before.

This proved fruitless as she was hit by multiple attacks, forcing her out of the fight entirely. Unique Build: Mitsuri has a special muscle composition with a density eight times that of a normal human. While her limbs are thin, they possess unmatched strength and endurance. Uniquely Designed Sword: Mitsuri, like most Pillar-ranked characters, has a custom-designed Nichirin Sword. In her case, it's something she calls the Sword of Love which looks like a regular Katana, but its design is different from the rest of her other weapons as it has a handle covered in the shape of hearts as well as a guard which is made up of four hearts placed parallel to its blade which is quite thin and flexible and is fuchsia in color. Due to Mitsuri's physical capabilities and flexibility, this weapon is specifically designed for her as it is a sword that when used, there is a risk of its user getting hurt. Unlike Shinobu and Gyomei whose weapons are designed to compensate for their shortcomings (Gyomei for his blindness and Shinobu for lacking sufficient physical strength to be able to decapitate Demons), Mitsuri's weapon is designed to take advantage of all of her physical advantages.
