Aoi Tohsaka

Appearance

Aoi is physically similar to her daughter Rin. She has long brown hair that curls towards the ends, and is usually seen wearing a simple dress that she accompanies with a white shawl.

Personality

Aoi is a passive and loyal woman who does not interfere in her husband's affairs, being described by Kirei Kotomine as the ideal version of a traditional wife. She gives off the impression of a well-educated young woman who became a mother, having been designed to be a different kind of “ideal mother” than Irisviel. Irisviel embodies a “fun mother,” while Aoi is a “quiet mother” who is better at using the “hidden power” that is inherent to mothers. She gives off the strong feeling of “that husband of mine, always so careless of himself,” and although she resembles Rin physically, her behavior is more akin to Sakura.
