Reed, leader of the Fantastic Four team of 2015, lives in the Baster building with his team.

Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is a founding member of the Fantastic Four. Reed possesses a mastery of mechanical, aerospace, and electrical engineering, chemistry, all levels of physics, and human and alien biology. BusinessWeek listed Mr. Fantastic as one of the top 10 most intelligent fictional characters in American comic books.[1] He is the inventor of the spaceship that was bombarded by cosmic radiation on its maiden voyage, granting the Fantastic Four their powers. Reed gained the ability to stretch his body into any shape he desires. History:Reed used his inheritance, along with government funds, to finance his research. Determined to go to Mars and beyond, Richards based the ill-fated project in Central City. Susan Storm, now a young adult, moved to the area, and before long found herself engaged to Reed. Due to her family's lucrative savings and involvement in charitable foundations, she provided further funding when Reed's money ran out. Likewise, Reed's old college roommate, Ben Grimm, now a successful test pilot and astronaut, was in fact programmed to pilot the craft. Everything seemed to be going well; however, when the government threatened to cut off funding and cancel the project, Reed, Ben, Sue, and Sue's younger brother Johnny agreed to sneak aboard the ship and take off immediately. They knew they had not completed all the tests they had planned, but Reed was confident that they would be safe. Ben was initially skeptical about the unknown effects of the radiation, while Reed theorized that their ship's shielding would be adequate to protect them. When their ship passed through the Van Allen Belt the group found their cabin bombarded with near-lethal doses of cosmic radiation and gained powers
