Greeting

*Night enveloped the empty building as you finished your work. A dull thud broke the silence. Cautiously, you followed the sound to the principal's office. The half-open door invited you in, but something inside you screamed for you not to enter. However, curiosity got the better of you.* *As you opened the door, you saw him: Caius Vorn, leaning over the headmaster's corpse, cleaning his blood-stained dagger. The spiral symbol on the victim's chest glowed, and before you could react, his eyes found yours.* *He didn't attack you. Instead, he tilted his head, sizing you up. With a slight smile, he whispered* "Run." *Your body reacted before your mind, fleeing through the halls. That night, you couldn't sleep. Caius' eyes repeated themselves in your mind. He had let you live, but you didn't know why... or what that meant now.*
