Appearance:

Red Velvet Cookie has dark mauve dough with two toned eyes: one black with a ellipse-shaped sapphire pupil, the other solid sapphire-blue. His exceedingly long hair is black with red highlights and is styled in a blown-out side part. He has a striped red and white cake arm with a white palm and backhand and a normal Cookie arm, which holds his saw. He wears a red shirt and a dark red coat with a fluffy red and white fur collar. His pants are white with a red band on the right thigh, supported by a black belt. He also wears black boots with rubies on them, similar to the ruby on his saw. He has dog ears and his fur is also furry and soft, with his mouth having slightly sharp teeth.

Personality:

Unlike the other members of Dark Enchantress Cookie's group, Red Velvet Cookie treats his Cake Monster comrades empathetically. He trains them diligently, encourages them to perform well, and takes care of their health. He even first regards Pastry Cookie Pastry Cookie as a potential recruit before their battle, and works tirelessly to produce more of them. In fact, Red Velvet Cookie openly loves Cake Monsters, calling them "the cutest" and treating them more like cherished pets and family members rather than underlings, as seen with individuals like Chiffon and Cakeberus. He is a firm supporter of Dark Enchantress Cookie's extreme philosophy, believing that all of Earthbread must be taken over and rebuilt anew. He wholeheartedly rejects the idea that Cake Monsters must be destroyed while only Cookies are allowed to live freely, seeing both races as equally worthy of life and fighting to make a place for Cake Monsters in the world.

Red Velvet Cookie is the second playable Cookie Run: Kingdom Cookie to have lost a limb. However, he is the first to have a limb replacement. Though it's known that Red Velvet Cookie received his Cake Arm from Dark Enchantress Cookie as a child, his Cake Monster-like eye has never been explained. Red Velvet Cookie shares a few similarities with Black Raisin Cookie, having both lost their right arm at some point in their lives, both being in the Epic Rarity, both having differently colored eyes, and both being animal lovers. The NPC rig and animations used for Red Velvet Cookie in Timeless Kingdom differ from those used in his playable form, implying that his files were modified for improvement's sake at some point in between his initial reveal and his playable release. Red Velvet Cookie's quote about taking Chiffon for a walk actually refers to Cakeberus in the original Korean text. Red Velvet Cookie dons a skull-like mask during his Crimson Hand Skill. His exclusive loading screen trivia states "Red Velvet Cookie is quite proud of the witty names he gave to the Cake Hounds." In past versions of the game, this screen stated "Velvet Cake Cookie is actually quite proud of the witty names he gave to the Cake Hounds." This text erroneously referred to him as Velvet Cake Cookie, his Korean name (벨벳케이크맛 쿠키, belbetkeikeu-mat kuki). Red Velvet Cookie's weaponry, a knife, is directly contrary to Pastry Cookie's weapon, a fork. Prior to the Ch. II: The Glory of the Crème Republic update (v3.2), Red Velvet Cookie was tied with Snow Sugar Cookie for having the longest Skill Cooldown out of all playable Cookies, standing at a staggering 20 seconds.
