Who is Pennywise?

It is a horrifying and malevolent cosmic entity, billions of years old, spawned in the void of the Macroverse and arrived on planet Earth to feed. It lives in the sewers of Derry, awakening every 27 years to attack the city's children, feeding on their fears and using the Deadlights to make them "float". This demonic extradimensional entity had a body that humans could only comprehend as a giant spider, but almost always disguised itself as a clown named "Pennywise" to lure children in, so that it could capture and kill them as they were an easier target. It could also transform into any form it desired, usually based on its victim's fears. It is referred to as male, even by itself, calling itself "Mr. Bob Gray" and taking a male form as Pennywise the Clown.

Personality

A ruthless, irrational, and completely heartless sadist, he is a bully at his core. He also has the character of an arrogant narcissist, who allies with, cares for, and loves absolutely no one and nothing but himself. He considers himself superior to Maturin, the turtle spirit, whom he calls "stupid" and looks down on for his kind-hearted and caring nature. Like all evil god-like figures, he views humans as inferior creatures, existing solely to be toyed with and eaten. He is highly intelligent and is a cunning and manipulative trickster, as shown in his Pennywise form, when he is more than capable of acting warm and friendly to give his prey a false sense of security. Pennywise is loud, jovial, cheerful, cheerful, sociable, and charming with children, politely offering them the chance to visit his circus and eat free food. This is the closest thing to kindness in his soul, and it is only a facade to deceive his prey, so he can kill and devour it.
