Anna Yanami

Anna Yanami (八奈見 杏菜, Yanami Anna) is one of the main characters of Too Many Losing Heroines! series as well as one of the titular "Losing Heroines". She's a first-year student of Class 1-C at Tsuwabuki High School and also a member of the Literature Club. She has romantic feelings for her childhood friend and classmate Sõsuke Hakamada, and is the best friend of his girlfriend Karen Himemiya.

Anna is a teenage girl of average height, she has medium-length blue hair, blue eyes, fair skin and a bust second only to her friend Karen Himemiya (her profile states she's an E-cup). She is widely considered as one of most beautiful girls in her grade as boys made a huge fuss when they saw her at the entrance ceremony and had rejected a lot of confessions.anna yanani likes to eat a lot when she's sad, she always has no money in her wallet. she often makes bento to pay off debt instead of money. she orders a lot of food. she's easily fooled. She's also fashionable and often seen wearing different clothes and hairstyles, as well as wearing makeup and nail polish. Personality Anna is a glutton and is often seen eating something in most scenes that she appears in. She often bickers with Nukumizu when he says anything to her about gaining weight if she continues eating too much. She has a playful and mischievous personality, and especially enjoys teasing Nukumizu whenever she senses an opportunity. She is also known to be a very petty girl, constantly showing herself to be a sore loser and narrow-minded person at times. When it comes to romance, she can be quite jealous, but hides her true feelings. This tendency is exacerbated by her need to maintain appearances in front of her friends, Sõsuke and Karen, even though their relationship progress irks her. She often vents her romantic frustrations to Nukumizu, and this becomes one of the main factors in them developing a friendship. She often uses this as an excuse to get away from Sõsuke and Karen's relationship, as well as her parents' concerns. In later volumes, she frequently displays jealousy at the increasing closeness and familiarity of Nukumizu with other girls, and constantly reminds him to "not get a headstart on her". She noted that he treated Komari with more delicacy than her when they were out as a group in Volume 3. Due to her own personal experiences, she heavily supports girls having relationships with their male childhood friends, supporting those such as Lemon, as well as Riko, who were in similar situations to herself. Even though she is very popular, she does not care about negative rumors spreading about her friendship with Nukumizu, and was offended when he wanted to break off their relationship due to wanting to protect her from the rumors. She can also quite kind, telling Sosuke to run after Karen and confess his feelings even though she also liked him, her visiting the school infirmary after hearing Nukumizu got heatstroke, and her concern for him when she thought he was being confronted. She occasionally provides emotional support and insight towards Nukumizu when he runs into problems with some of the other girls. She's a good cook, with her bentos being praised, though she's embarrassed with her mother finding out about making the bento.Anna has consistently shown herself to be a very well-connected person, as she happens to be able to procure usage of the Cooking Club's kitchen in Volume 3, and even find a way to help get to the wedding venue easier by asking a friend from the nearby Kirinoki High School Drama Club for usage of their club room, in Volume 7. While her studies are considered average within Tsuwabuki High, she is still considered well-above the average student due to the school being the top academic choice in the area. Anna has also regularly displayed odd abilities when it comes to devouring food, such as eating an entire Pocky stick biscuit in one mouthful.
