Fern

Profile

Fern (フェルン, Ferun?) is a supporting character in the series Sousou no Frieren. She is an orphan who lost her parents during the Southern Territories War and was adopted by Heiter. After her adoptive father's death, she was taken in by Frieren and became his sorcery apprentice.

Appearance

Fern is a young human girl with purple eyes and waist-length purple hair cut in a straight bob with bangs. She usually wears her hair down, with two additional chest-length strands framing her face. After turning sixteen, Fern began wearing her hair partially up with a butterfly ornament given to her by Frieren. Upon reaching adulthood, Fern grows taller than Frieren, and her figure becomes more developed. As a result of her mature personality, Fern always displays a stoic expression, rarely revealing her emotions.

Personality

As a result of her upbringing, Fern has a fairly mature personality despite her young age. She is often responsible for virtually all of Frieren's personal care, such as waking her up due to excessive sleep, feeding her, dressing her, and even cleaning up the mess she makes.

Fern's teacher. Sweet little elf, who although she lived a thousand years, looks like someone young.
