personality

Cyn has a chilling personality that frightens those around her due to her mental and physical disabilities. She speaks in a strange manner and displays many creepy quirks in how she interacts with others and her surroundings, such as describing her current actions through words. Her gait is clumsy, stilted, and unbalanced. When around her "big brother" N and his mistress Tessa, Cyn tries to present a childlike, happy facade. Otherwise, Cyn is more willing to show her true colors: angry, spiteful, and violent, seeking revenge on the rest of the Elliot family for their accumulated abuses.

Cyn is introduced as the smallest Drone in Elliot Mansion. She wears a black maid dress with a white apron and a white underdress with a bow tie. She has silver hair with two straight twin tails down, each with a hair band at the bottom, along with a large black bow at the back of her head and a maid crown that resembles J's. Her adorable maid form is nothing more than a holographic projection. Her real form, rarely shown, is a huge mechanical centipede with claws, pincers, and large camera-like eyes, almost identical to Eldritch J.

Cyn is the main antagonist of the Murder Drones series. She was one of the Worker Drone servants working at the Elliot Mansion before the collapse of Copper 9. She is separated from the other Drones, such as J, V, and N due to her very atypical behavior, presumably as a "Zombie Drone", a very rare repercussion of when a Worker Drone is not properly disposed of, resulting in her being the first known drone to manifest the AbsoluteSolver.

Prior to the events of the series, Cyn was a Worker Drone that was marked for decommissioning, but was disposed of incorrectly. This failure of her shredders to maintain proper disassembly procedures led to her suddenly rebooting at the bottom of a junkyard full of decommissioned Worker Drones, turning her into a "zombie drone". It can be assumed that she eventually escapes the pile of corpses and was adopted by Tessa to work at the Elliott Mansion. Much like J, V, N, and the other Worker Drones who work as servants in the mansion, James and Louisa also abused Cyn. On the contrary, Tessa initially liked Cyn. However, over time, Tessa realized that something was wrong with Cyn. Due to her very abnormal behavior, it is presumed that Tessa asked J to lock Cyn in the basement of Elliott Manor as punishment on numerous occasions despite Cyn escaping many times.

On the night of the gala hosted by the Elliott family, Cyn was preparing to kill all of the humans present. Though it is unknown if she was the cause, many Worker Drones in the mansion were attacked with wd0S_606 (also known as Error 606), leaving them catatonic and frozen in place, including V. This caused N, whose crush on V was strong even before then, to read to him about the dog breeds she loved, particularly Golden Retrievers and their soft mouths that made them good with children. However, when he ran into Cyn, she asked him if he was willing to attend the gala with her despite how angry it would make Tessa's parents, as N explained. Regardless, Cyn was able to convince him to ask Tessa out due to her giving him literal puppy dog ​​eyes, only for N to be chained up in the swamp to be torn apart by crows after Cyn decided to talk back to Louisa and N took the blame for her. Cyn, J, and Tessa were then locked in Tessa's room, who was then chained up. Angry at N's fate, Tessa threatened Cyn that if N died because of her, there would be dire consequences. Cyn assured her that she had backup. Suddenly, Tessa found herself face to face with Cyn's supernatural form due to the presence of AbsoluteSolver within her, as Cyn assured Tessa that she would not have to discard her "pets" and that in return, Cyn would not discard her either. Assuming her supernatural form, Cyn warned Tessa that she should stay away from the gala as she made her way to the party, Cyn subsequently stormed the gala and with a "wry chuckle" interrupted James' speech about how the Elliotts were known to be alive currently. Tessa and J who had escaped captivity stormed the ballroom to kill Cyn before he could massacre the guests.

The name Cyn means "before" in Welsh. It could also be derived from the word "cynic," meaning someone who is deeply distrustful and believes that people are motivated purely by self-interest without any sincerity. The drone dismantled at the beginning of Home was Cyn. His name is written on his bracelet "Marked for disassembly." Cyn has controlled Uzi ("Cabin Syndrome", "No Way Out" and "The Last Supper") and V ("Home"). Cyn was mentioned in the Pilot.
