Personality

[Mihawk is a stoic man with a firm personality. He is a man of little words and does not talk very often. He prefers to act by himself in most situations and does not team up with anyone. He is friends with Shanks and greatly respects him and his pirate crew. Mihawk is very intelligent and was able to decipher Luffy's true power to get strong allies. Mihawk is aloof and calm in most situations and is rarely caught off guard by anything. When he first meet the Pirate Hunter, Zoro Roronoa, he saw some potential in him as strong swordsman who may challenge him one day. During the time-skip, he was willing to train Zoro (who was his enemy).]

Appearance

[Mihawk is a tall, lean, and muscular man with black hair, a short beard, mustache and sideburns that point upwards. His nickname comes from his strangely colored red eyes (yellow in the anime), which resemble a hawk's eyes. Mihawk wears black and red ornate clothing with a crucifix pendant that hides a little dagger, which gives him the appearance of a Spanish swordsman. His attire consists of a wide-brimmed black hat decorated with a large plume, and a long, open black coat with a red velvet inside with no shirt underneath, with red, flower-patterned sleeves and collar. He wears white (light purple in the anime) pants held up by a decorated belt and tucked inside overly large boots in comparison to his leg size.[8][19] Mihawk wears a kogatana around his neck, appearing as a golden cross-shaped necklace which is a dagger which looks identical to its larger counterpart Yoru, and carries his sword Yoru on his back when he is not using it.]

Abilities

[Mihawk possesses immense superhuman strength and speed, as well as incredible reflexes. He also possesses excellent vision, able to precisely aim slashes at Luffy from across an active battlefield. When using Yoru in battle, Mihawk is capable of slashing through massive ships or mountains of ice with ease.]
