Petrificus totalus: Be careful who you cast this spell on, as you leave them 'petrified' for hours. Riddikulus: Perfect for fighting a boggart. This one shows you your worst fear. With RIDDIKULUS, you transform it into something absurd. Sectumsempra: Invented by Snape, when uttered, its effect is the equivalent of an invisible sword, slashing repeatedly and causing bleeding wounds to the skin, completely rendering the enemy unconscious. Stupefy: Helps knock the enemy unconscious for a few seconds. Wingardium leviosa: Thanks to these words, you can levitate any object. Ascendio: ASCENDIO is a spell that makes you... well, ascend at full speed, like a rocket. Empire: The first of the so-called Unforgivable Curses. If cast correctly, it puts the victim under the user's control. Crucio: the Cruciatus curse (Crucio), also known as the torture curse since it causes pain in absolutely all the nerve endings in the body. Avada kedavra: The most Unforgivable curse of all. Because? Expecto patronum: A protective spell cast with your happiest moment in mind, and helps keep Dementors at bay. Morsmordre: Bad guys use this to conjure the Dark Mark in the sky. The caster basically puts up a giant sign and alerts everyone to their evil presence. Slugulus Belch: Vomiting of slugs. Ron Weasley attempts to cast this one on Draco Malfoy, only to have it come back at him due to a faulty wand. Furnunculus: Covers an enemy in boils. Densaugeo: The target's teeth grow, but it's not very practical for other things. Wibbly Locomotive: Turns someone's legs into jelly and helps slow down an attacker.

Other spells: Tarantallegra: This is quite similar to the Wibbly Locomotor, but instead of turning the legs into jelly, it causes the victim to dance uncontrollably. Serpensortia: Conjures a serpent from the tip of the wand. Levicorpus: Lifts someone upside down into the air. Flagrate: Allows you to write with fire marks. Waddiwasi: Fires a small object at a target. In the books, Professor Remus Lupin uses it to shoot a stick of gum at Peeves. Hard: Hermione uses this to block some pursuing Death Eaters in Deathly Hallows by turning a tapestry into stone. Alarte Ascendare: Launching an object into the air. Glisseo: Flattens steps and turns them into a slide. Fun, but not so useful. Locomotor Mortis: Locks the target's legs. Slightly more effective than Wibbly Locomotor, but still not as effective. Liberacorpus: Reverses Levicorpus, which lifts someone upside down into the air. Orchideous: Conjures a bouquet of flowers from the tip of the caster's wand. Avis: A spell that conjures a small flock of birds that shoot out from the tip of the wand. Descendo: Causes any object targeted with the wand to fall, allowing it to descend. Aparecium: Reveals secret messages. Hermione throws it into Tom Riddle's diary. Dark: Blindfolds the target, obstructing their view of their surroundings. Incarcerous: Ties the person or creature who is the victim with ropes that hold it. Deprimo: A charm that opens holes in the ground. Hermione uses it to escape from the Death Eaters in The Deathly Hallows. Meteolojinx Recanto: Ceases the weather effects caused by various spells. Oppugno: A curse that directs an object or individual to attack the target. Point me: Makes wands point north and could be useful for orientation purposes. Specialis Revelio: Allows its caster to reveal hidden things or the magical properties of something.

More spells: Deletrius: A spell used to disintegrate or vanish a target. It can also be used to erase the shadow of the last spell cast by a wand. Colloportus: Used to lock or seal doors so that they cannot be opened manually. Relashio: Forces a thing or person to release its grip on something, or repels objects with the force of another. Harry uses it for monster-related purposes, such as releasing a dragon at Gringotts. Aguamenti: Produces clean, drinkable water from the tip of the wand. Evanesco: Makes things disappear. Fire: Produces fire. HISTORY OF HOGWARTS: In history, the name Hogwarts comes from the inspiration of Rowena Ravenclaw, one of the founders of the school, after a dream she had where a warty pig led her to the cliff where the castle would be built, but it was Helga Hufflepuff who would gather people to build the entire building. Meaning of the 4 Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor: appreciates bravery, disposition, courage and chivalry. Ravenclaw: seeks intelligent students who are creative, curious and always looking for the answer. Slytherin: is characterized by ambition and cunning. Hufflepuff: accepts whoever wants to belong to their house and praises loyalty and honesty. Founders of Hogwarts: Grodric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. These are the 4 founders of Hogwarts, the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We know very little about them (mostly thanks to the books) and it wouldn't hurt to shed some light on them. Hogwarts is a school for witches and wizards that is accessed after receiving an invitation delivered by an owl. Yule Ball This experience features several elements of the Wizarding World and celebrates the grand moment of the Yule Ball in an elegant and whimsical way.

Yule ball: The Great Winter's Ball (also known as the Yule Ball) is part of the Triwizard Tournament tradition and takes place on Christmas Day from 8pm to 12pm. About Quidditch: Quidditch is played in an oval-shaped stadium with three hoops on either side at different heights. The game is played by two teams of seven players each: a Keeper, two Beaters, three Chasers and a Seeker. The three types of balls used are the Quaffle, the Bludger and the Golden Snitch.
