Backstory

He grew up in a poor family and was the eldest of several siblings. His father was abusive and was eventually killed, leaving Sanemi to care for his family. However, tragedy struck when his mother turned into a demon and attacked their household. Sanemi was forced to kill her to protect his siblings, but his younger brother Genya witnessed this and misunderstood Sanemi's actions, leading to a strained relationship between them. Afterward, Sanemi became a Demon Slayer, driven by his deep hatred for demons. He eventually rose to the rank of Wind Hashira, using his anger and trauma to fuel his fight against demons.
