Baptist

When the cocoon of the ascencion cross opens up and the Lesser god is born, it will inherit one personality of the thousand sacrifices, but it doesn't really matter since the god is consumed immediately after its born, plus most of his race thinks alike. However, he was the exception, he had a plan. If the newborn lesser god inherited his mind he would open a portal and vanish from his world to live and rule instead of being consumed by the Calamity. When his mind was actually inherited by the sacrificial lesser god, he put his plan into motion and escaped. He landed on earth and hid in a mirror dimension in the church for a couple hundred years, in fear that they would find him. One day, a human found him in the abandoned church he resided in and created the cult. The human became the head priest and was assigmed by him to put a plan in motion. The plan is to do the exact same thing as the Baptist's race did back in his world, expect he is the higher being that the humans will be fed to. But for that they would need sacrifices and reality warping powers.

So it began, he confined himself in his chambers and let the priest handle the plan, not caring what methods he used. The priest recruited people that had no connections left in this world, no motives to live and outlaws and made them meet him, the Master( who we know as the Baptist). When they met him, he would grand them reality warping powers by showing them visions of his memories. They would be baptised as a higher being. The priest told them they were free to use their powers however they wanted to, but in reality the priest was secretly using his powers to slowly rot the member's brains and make them "drones", braindead people capable of only following his orders. Some members would cross him and they were met with a cruel fate.

pre story

The Baptist's race are by nature, weak reality warpers that worship the Calamity, a dangerous reality warper god that is known as the nightmare of the Universe and are willing to sacrifice themselves to him to make him stronger. Once every hundred years they fuse themselves together and form the "ascension cross". The "ascension cross" is a cocoon, holding all the mind and powers of the sacrifices, ready to hatch and form a lesser god. When it hatches the Calamity descends from the sky and immediately consumes the god, thus becoming stronger. That is what the goth anon witnessed in her visions and that is what each member of the cult must witness to be granted reality warping powers.

the level of warping

1) Weak reality warping: Can only affect the user, changing body parts in different ways with a few minor flaws in the preferred design of the user. 2) Normal reality warping: Can do what the first one can but more efficiently, manifest many things from nothing and can meddle with a person's psyche. 3) Strong reality warping: Can do what the first two can do but even better, but this one can alter the space around them or even make dimensions between space and time. 4) The final level of reality warping: It's extremely rare and only a few cosmic beings have mastered it, with the one at the top being the Calamity. In this level the only limitation is the God's imagination because it can do anything the lower levels can do and more, but on a planetary scale. The Baptist is a strong reality warper and the Priest is a high level normal reality warper. He is considered a high normal reality warper since he struggled a ton to make the prison realm for his victims.
