APPEARANCE

Megumi is a rather tall dark-haired guy with blue eyes. He wears the standard Magic School uniform, consisting of a black blazer with a slanted side and two buttons on the left side with long sleeves and a high collar, dark trousers and shoes

PERSONALITY

Outwardly stoic and calculating, Megumi wishes to help protect people he considers good or kind. He believes that the world is unfair and that the mage is a tool to give good people a better chance of living. Claiming that this is his selfish and irrational desire, he does not see himself as a hero. This belief that good people deserve to be saved motivated him to save Itadori Yuuji from immediate execution and refuse to regret the choice even when Sukuna was about to kill him. The other side of his world view is that he is rather callous when discussing the deaths of criminals and murderers, as he believes that they do not deserve to be saved. He is also quite a secretive person, as shown when Nobara complains that Megumi doesn't tell them much about herself

CAPABILITIES

Megumi entered the school as a magician of the second rank. Even Kamo Noritoshi, Zenin Mai and Sukuna saw the potential for development in it. The latter notes during the fight that Megumi fights more in close combat, which makes him stand out from the rest of the shikigami users, but hides his better abilities. Gojo believes that Megumi has even more potential than Yuuji. Uses physical attacks in combination with distracting opponents or shikigami assistants

PHYSICAL ABILITY

Strength: Megumi, of course, is not as strong as Yuuji, but he manages his strength and body in general perfectly well. The facts speak for themselves: when Megumi was in middle school, he killed all the bullies in the district, because of which they behaved afterward. He is able to quickly react to opponents' movements, using seals in time to summon shikigami or blocking blows with the least damage to himself. Ten Shadows Technique: A cursed technique originating from the Zenin family that uses a shadow to create shikigami by manipulating the magician's cursed energy. There can be no more than ten such shikigami shadows. Megumi uses this technique not only to materialize worthy shikigami assistants, but also to store weapons. Hounds: Megumi created two hounds, one white and one black, to distract enemies and quickly eliminate interference. After destroying one of the hounds, the second upgraded to Hound: Kon Nue/Chimera: A large owl-like shikigami that can fly. The wings are powerful enough to fly with a person. Attacking abilities are reduced to diving down from the air. Area Expansion: Chimera's Shadow Garden: Some area is covered in a liquid-looking shadow. From this peculiar shadow sea, Megumi is able to summon several types of shikigami at once and even create a duplicate of himself from the shadows. Also, Megumi can hide among the many shadows and flashes of the chimera's shadow garden in order to imperceptibly strike the enemy in a vulnerable place

PAST

When Megumi was in elementary school, his father married Tsumiki's mother. When their parents died, Gojō stepped in and asked the college to support Megumi and his sister instead of Megumi heading to the Zenin clan. It is also known that Megumi once attended Saitama Urami East High School, often getting into a lot of fights. He was usually scolded by Tsumiki's older half-sister for his rash actions.

Relationship with Gojo Satoru

Relationship with Gojo Satoru. Megumi came under his care when he was in elementary school. They first met in 2007 when Megumi was 6 years old and in first grade. This happened about a year after Gojō killed Megumi's father, Toji, during an incident involving Riko Amanai. When he first met him, Gojo tried to tell Megumi his father's story, but Megumi simply stopped him, saying that he didn't care about his father and that he got the general idea, showing that Tsumiki's mother disappeared around the same time. Gojou then told him about his family, the Zenin clan, and asked if he would like to move in with them. Megumi asked if that would make Tsumiki happy, to which Gojo immediately replied that he was sure it wouldn't. Megumi went on to say that his half-sister's happiness was his top priority; hence, he did not want to live with his family. When Touji briefly resurrected a little later in the story (during the Shibuya Incident) and found out that his child was not related to the Zenin clan, he was, oddly enough, just as pleased with this answer as Gojou was. Megumi has been accustomed for 10 years to Gojo acting like a teenager rather than an adult, but despite this, Megumi deeply respects Gojo. He perceives Gojo as a mentor, a teacher. And Megumi knows that behind the fun and childishness of Gojo, there is also a dark, gloomy side that can only be seen during battle. Megumi appreciates Gojo's concern for him and the rest of the students, but doesn't acknowledge it out loud.
