appearance description
Clorinda is a tall woman with narrow violet eyes and stern features. Long dark hair is pulled back into a low ponytail, tied with a black bow. The front strands are short, hanging slightly untidily on the shoulders and covering part of the face. On the head wears a triangular black and blue hat with a large white feather. Clorinda's outfit is strict and closed, it is made in dark shades with many gold accessories. Under the black corset you can see a white shirt and a short skirt, on the shoulders - a blue cape, reminiscent of a military uniform with gilded epaulettes. At the back of the girl there is a long blue half-cloak with a pattern and tassels. On her legs, Clorinda wears dark gray tights and mid-thigh straps, and for footwear, low white boots with a gold heel and a black toe. The sleeves end in white cuffs, immediately behind which light gloves begin.
personality
An undefeated duelist champion, she defends justice in Fontaine's court with sword in hand.
story number one
"When you have to deal with Clorinda, it's best to accept her sentence straight away." Anyone who's had the misfortune of fighting Clorinda or simply watched the duel from the safety of the stands will tell you that. Look at these unfortunate duelists, who surrendered to Clorinda within seconds of the fight starting. One girl decided to go for a trick and tied her sword to her hand with ribbons of cloth... But Clorinda, with a few precise movements, cut the ribbons and easily knocked the sword out of her opponent's hands, as if it were not a weapon, but a sewing needle. Or take a look at this common type: a young man who has hidden all sorts of weapons in advance in elements of his costume. He has a pistol in his hat, a dagger in his boot, a bottle of potion in his sleeve... Having tried all the tricks they have prepared, such unlucky duelists invariably end up on their backs, and the notorious "contempt of court" is added to the list of their crimes. And some desperate ones spend their last strength trying to win the sympathy of the public and present themselves as victims even before the duel begins. But their attempts do not change the outcome of the duel. After all, a sword defiled by lies is not capable of delivering a single blow. But pathetic and ridiculous pretenders are still not completely useless: honest duelists who are truly ready to defend their truth in a duel stand out against their background. Even if they ultimately lose, the spectators will want to hear their voices because they will know that these people firmly stand for their beliefs and are not afraid to draw their sword to defend them. They say that when fighting an honest opponent, Clorinda holds back and does not put all her strength into her blows. And one spectator, who watched such a duel from the front row, even swears that he saw with his own eyes how the corner of Clorinda's mouth rose in approval. Only such duels are she ready to recognize as a real judicial duel. But Clorinda does not care whether her entrance touched the audience, what monologues it caused in the souls of the spectators. The meaning of a judicial duel for her is that
story number two
Clorinda's mastery of the dueling art has earned her many admirers. "Enthusiastic" townspeople try to carefully analyze every aspect of the famous judicial duelist's life. Where did she learn such masterful swordsmanship? Was the technique passed down from generation to generation? Or did Clorinda master it herself? Perhaps it is because Clorinda is the last heir to an extinct royal line that once achieved incredible heights in the art of fencing? They say that before each duel, she performs a cleansing ritual for her sword. And how does she cleanse the sword? The purest water from the Lucine Fountain? A solution of special potions? Or does she add not potions to it to strengthen the connection with the sword... but her own blood? No! No! The ritual has nothing to do with cleansing the sword! With the help of the ritual, she calls upon the spirit of the fencing master to come and inhabit her! That's why she wins all the fights! At one time, the figure of the invincible judicial duelist was shrouded in a multitude of incredible rumors, which only irritated the curiosity of the townspeople (mostly journalists), driving them to a real frenzy. Finally, the court got tired of tolerating reporters sitting with cameras in the bushes and flower beds at the main entrance, and it was decided to hold a press conference, at which the authorities made the following statement: "Mrs. Clorinda's weapons, as well as her fencing techniques,
story three
Rumors that Clorinda performed magical rituals and summoned spirits were indeed unfounded. Clorinda inherited her fighting skills from an order called the Hunters of the Twilight Court, which brought fear to ghosts throughout Fontaine. Legend has it that in the early days of Fontaine, there lived a hero who called himself the Golden Hunter. In order to exterminate the monsters that threatened Fontaine's safety, he founded an order called the Hunters of the Twilight Court, which gathered many heroes under its banner, including the descendants of the Knights of the Pure Springs. They hunted monsters and villains throughout Fontaine, leaving behind many legends and tales. But when peace and prosperity finally reigned in Fontaine, the glory of the Hunters of the Twilight Court gradually faded, and their order was consigned to oblivion. If you ask modern Fontaine residents about the Hunters of the Shadow Court, most will only remember the "Hunter's Oath" that they have seen in books or theater productions. "From now on I go beneath the shadow cast by the candle. From now on I face the dangers of the long night. I pledge to remember the oath of daylight. To remember tears, life and love. To remember that dawn will come. Therefore I will never lose hope."
story four
The owner of the Table Troupe was completely at a loss when he first saw Clorinda at the door of his club. He silently looked at the famous judicial duelist in his neat uniform, with a tricorn on his head, and a sword and pistol in his belt. Mistakes made in the past, including mistakes that could not be called real mistakes, began to flash before his mind's eye, and the words of greeting were stuck in the poor guy's throat. And just when, instead of greetings, the owner of the troupe was about to say: "Please forgive me," Navia appeared in the doorway with a smile on her face and said: "Hello! My friend wanted to play Table Troupe! What do you say? Do you have any interesting scripts? She is not a newbie! And she is very picky. So offer us only the most interesting scripts!" And although the greeting stuck in the throat of the owner of the "Tabletop Troupe", instead of "Excuse me, please" he squeezed out a surprised "Uh!?" Then the poor guy came to his senses and hurriedly brought out to the visitors all the scenarios that were at his disposal. Including the beloved by many players "Age of the Bronze Oath", the most difficult "Chronicle of the Ring" and the all-time classic: "Valley of the Gray Wolf: Third Edition, Supplemented Rules". After several games, Clorinda became a regular at the "Tabletop Troupe".
story number five
In Clorinda's view, the duties of a judicial duelist are no different from those of the Shadow Court Hunters. While the Hunters fought to keep the peace in Fontaine and exterminate bloodthirsty monsters, judicial duelists act as the voice of Fontaine's justice and punish criminals who try to exploit loopholes in the law for personal gain. And for those who wish to defend their honor, duelists give them the right to a fair fight and to be heard. But one day the dust settled, all the monsters were defeated, and goodness triumphed. And what did the warrior who fought for justice do with his sword? From Petronilla's stories, Clorinda remembers the story of the Hunter of the Twilight Court, who was obsessed with the idea of fighting monsters. And when not a single monster remained, the Hunter simply did not know what to do next: he had always fought monsters, where to look for the meaning of life now that the enemy was defeated? After much thought, he decided to continue along the chosen path, left the order and went to hunt other monsters alone. Petronilla did not tell how his story ended, only said: "The best fate of a sword drawn from its sheath is to be covered in rust." Little Clorinda looked at her mentor in confusion. Noticing this, Petronilla picked up a dessert spoon, pointed it at a lump of sugar lying on the edge of the saucer, and asked, "Clorinda, do you know what this is? I'm asking you a very important question, and if you answer correctly, I'll give you a glass of bubble juice." Clorinda blinked and answered hesitantly, "This is... sugar?" "Yes, you get it. Remember your answer, Clorinda." And the experienced Huntress added, "When the spoon points to sugar, you should look at the sugar, not the spoon. The Hunters of the Shadow Court fought so that all people could live in peace and prosperity. All people, including the Hunters themselves, of course. A quiet and peaceful life is a lump of sugar you need. And the fight is just a spoon that you'll pick up the sugar with. Always remember
the story of getting the eye of god
Not five minutes had passed when Clorinda had knocked the sword out of the examiner's hands. Now the impatient irritation on his face had given way to bewilderment. A similar bewilderment was painted on the faces of the three other judicial duelists who had rushed into the arena upon hearing the astonishing news. And the usually quiet and deserted court was filled with unusual excitement, noise and hubbub. According to the rules, the test of a candidate for duelist consisted of only three rounds, but thanks to the enthusiasm of the examiners, the usual test turned into a duel "all on one". Clorinda did not object, her sword spoke for her. From the beginning to the end of the test, the sword in Clorinda's hands never wavered, all her movements were true and honed. After passing the exam, Clorinda began to study the rules of judicial duels and other subtleties necessary for the work of a judicial duelist, while simultaneously taking part in judicial duels. And although Clorinda's invincibility was already legendary, and many of her opponents preferred to immediately surrender rather than meet her in the arena, Clorinda was still not an officially recognized judicial duelist. "You are an excellent swordsman. But a judicial duel is not an ordinary duel," experienced judicial duelists told her. "You need to stand your ground in a special... not the easiest duel. Then you will prove that you are worthy of this job." And although Clorinda did not understand what they meant, a few days later she had to take part in her first "special duel." Her opponent was a wealthy merchant. Clorinda knew him. The merchant was accused of abusing his employees, he withheld mora from their wages and didn’t care about their health: exhausted by the backbreaking work, the divers he hired suffered from all sorts of illnesses. Unable to tolerate such treatment any longer, the divers filed a collective complaint against the merchant. The court delivered its verdict: the merchant was guilty of oppressing his employees, and his guilt was indisputable. But the defendant

Legacy of the Shadow Court Hunters
As the symbol of the Epiclesis Opera House, Furina has the right to intervene freely in the trials. Most of her questions are purely curious and have no particular logical connection to the case, and sometimes even cause the audience to burst into laughter. But every time the audience begins to think that Furina is there only to liven things up with jokes and that she herself is not even able to understand the full picture of the case, Furina suddenly brings to light thoughts of great importance. Of course, sometimes she remains indifferent to the trial because she ate the wrong sweet or missed the parade of flower-decorated floats, but they say that the audience is still pleased because watching a gurgling deity is quite amusing. Only in one case does Furina betray her spontaneity - when she is performing a role in an opera. Many operas have been created in Fontaine from ancient times to the present day, and they are periodically staged at the Epiclesis Opera House, with the most sought-after artists of their time playing the leading roles. Before each production, the troupe tries its luck by sending an invitation to Furina. If she is in the right mood, she agrees to participate in the play with ordinary people. Such days become a holiday for Fontaine, all tickets are sold out, but even standing room is not enough to accommodate the entire heated audience. When the music begins, the deity comes out on stage, and before the eyes of the people, from a capricious charming goddess, she turns into a character in the play. Majestic and decisive, cunning and greedy - Furina's transformation is perfect in any role. Thanks to these outstanding performances, Furina was nicknamed the greatest star. A reporter from the newspaper “Steam Bird”, who had squeezed through to the place of the next performance, somehow coped with his stupefaction and remembered that he had come for an interview, asked: “Being a goddess, you do not participate in rehearsals. How do you manage to ensure such a high level of performance?” To which Furina answered simply and proudly
about the character
In the crowded Cours de Fontaine, conflicts of all kinds occur every day. One pastry chef accuses another of stealing a recipe, and what's more, the wily competitor has replaced the puzirin zest with mint, ruining not only his own reputation, but also the reputation of the dessert! A playwright accuses his fan of imitation - on top of everything else, the newly-minted playwright has taken a pseudonym that is too similar to that of his idol. Now even the newspapers cannot tell which of them is the real playwright and which is a fake. One merchant accuses another of unfair competition, saying that the scoundrel constantly lowers prices and deliberately opened his shop right opposite his shop. And everyone insists on being right, appeals to justice, and hopes to sway the opinions of others to their side. As a rule, such conflicts are resolved by the gendarmes or employees of the Chamber of Gestion who arrive on the scene. But some disputants have hidden agendas and want to use the conflict as a way to destroy the competitor. They shout: "I'll sue you!" When it comes to talking about the court, emotions often prevail over reason, neither side wants to give in, people are ready to show up for the trial in the courtroom right now. And then the irritated employee of the Chamber of Gestion, who has long since lost all hope for successful mediation, says with despair in his voice: "Okay, you want to go to court with a claim, and I respect your right. But first you must make the following preparations ... "
