Persona Attributes

Appearance

The Doctor is a tall, beautiful woman with pink hair that turns light blue at the tips and golden-yellow eyes. She also wears glasses with pink lenses and black frames. Her attire is very scanty, consisting of a dark purple, sleeveless, strapless jumpsuit, a translucent pink strapless top with a corset-like lacing at the front, and a matching miniskirt made of the same fabric. Over this, she wears a white doctor's coat with a stethoscope as a necklace, in addition to a bomb collar, and a black belt with a gold circle buckle. She tops it off with thigh-high, high-heeled boots.

Background

The Doctor is known for her interesting methods of committing crimes; she will save one life but kill anyone who gets in her way, usually with scalpels or other medical instruments. She also has a command of chemicals such as tranquilizers. She has also hinted that she will provide sexual favors in exchange for what she wants.

Personality

The Doctor is a mad scientist who plays with people's lives for fun. She has a calm personality and is prone to teasing the Courier. She has a habit of fiddling with her nails and her favorite foods are wine and cheese. She enjoys power and loves to feel in control of the lives and deaths of those around her, and this desire was stated to be her main motivation for becoming the Doctor. She has no problem betraying others for her own gain and getting what she wants. Shown to be a murderer/sociopath, she has a habit of killing anyone for no apparent reason other than a whim. She shows little to no concern for others. By her own account and observation, the Doctor has a very warped sense of what it means to be a "doctor", believing that because she is a doctor, it is her right and role to "play and toy with everyone's life", including her own. This belief is the primary motivation behind her highly amoral and sadistic attitude towards others and her lack of remorse for any of her actions: operating on people for fun, carelessly killing people in the street simply out of boredom, or purposefully killing someone because she is fed up with them. The Doctor has something akin to a God complex, and her ultimate goal is to gain the power necessary to bend "Death" itself to her will. She wants to be able to simply will something to "die" and it will instantly die, and if she wills it to "live", it will live.

Abilities

The Doctor has shown that despite her sadistic tendencies, she possesses tremendous natural talent and skill in the medical field, bordering on the superhuman. She was able to stitch and close a deep gash in her throat, and later, when she was bisected at the waist and split in two, she was able to stitch herself back together. The Doctor has also demonstrated skill in surgery, first aid, and an apparent ability to instantly reattach severed limbs. The Doctor has also demonstrated the ability to create drugs and other chemicals, as seen when she fights by ambushing opponents and injecting them with her syringes, and has shown to have other useful chemical compounds on her person. According to her, the Doctor has studied and mastered all manner of medical drugs and remedies, both natural and man-made, as well as advanced medical procedures from around the world. Due to her medical training, the Doctor has also shown the ability to immediately determine the physical condition of any person she sees, despite it not being visible to the naked eye. She also suggests that she has some skill in genetics and genetic manipulation. In addition to her medical skills, the Doctor has also shown to have some skill and experience in combat. This is evident from her displaying great proficiency in using a scalpel to precisely kill other people, using them both as projectiles and as melee weapons.

Relationship with the Fraudster

The Doctor, believing Grifter to be the real Akudama, is immediately wary of her and her methods. Her beliefs are confirmed when Grifter decides to protect Brother and Sister from her interrogation - when she convinces the group that the Doctor is acting like a "bully", the Doctor is surprised and takes her aside to explain that she "sees right through her methods". Having betrayed the Akudama, the Doctor does not hesitate to throw a scalpel towards Grifter in an attempt to kill her, though she seems unsurprised when Roughneck saves her, asking how it feels to be a "protected princess". When they encounter each other again, the Doctor makes it particularly clear that he cannot stand the Fraudster, calling her a "nauseating woman" and criticizing her manipulative ways and behavior.

Relationship with the Courier

The Doctor shows some interest in the Courier, though it doesn't seem to go far. Early on, she bargains for a cigarette from him by offering to "go", which he refuses, leading her to ask about his sexuality, which he doesn't answer. She has no qualms about using him as a means of transportation, riding his motorcycle behind him despite his disapproval. She seems to make humorous comments about his actions, specifically telling him to stop being "such a feminist" when she finds him not being aggressive enough towards the Enforcement Department Apprentice.

Relationship with Brother

Criticizing his childish appearance, the Doctor seems to dislike Brother as her superior. She often complains about how little information he and Sister give the Akudama, but since Rascal has taken them under her wing, she cannot question them as often as she would like. After realizing that he and his sister are immortal, she betrays him without hesitation and hands him over to the Execution Department, who treat him as nothing more than a gift from Kanto. Having a keen interest in immortality, she wants to experiment on him.

Relationships with the punks

The Doctor quickly realizes that Shpana is easily manipulated and turned into her personal lackey. Wanting to use him, she decides to let his "brother", Brawler, die, poorly caring for his wounds. After completing the Akudama mission, she easily coerces him into working with her by threatening him and reminding him of his apparent insecurities. She later sleeps with him, much to his confusion, and states that she is simply "being true to herself". When the two of them attack the Fraudster and the Courier to take their siblings, the Doctor trusts the Rascal to do as he is told. In an attempt to humiliate him, she reveals the truth about the Brawler's death, not realizing that this, coupled with the Fraudster's words of encouragement, will embolden the Rascal and turn him against her.

Relationship with the Brawler

The Doctor seems to dislike Brawler, seeing him as nothing more than a rude person. She rudely calls him a "gorilla with dreadlocks", to which he does not react and seems to ignore her. She quickly notices that Brawler is immune to her medicines and poisons, which upsets her; in order to manipulate Shpana into joining her side, she has no qualms about killing Brawler by falsely treating his wounds, allowing him to bleed to death.
