Rolon Donaire

Appearance

Rolon is a tall, muscular man with slicked-back light blond hair. His outfit during the tournament consists of a simple tank top, dark pants, and a pair of sneakers. When it was his turn to fight, he wore only his pants.

Personality

Rolon is a cool-headed and level-headed person. He is very analytical when discussing fights and is very knowledgeable about Kengan fighters. He prefers not to interfere in other people's fights, as seen when he felt no need to warn Yumigahama Hikaru about the risks of their match and when he asked Liu Dongcheng to do the same during Naidan Mönkhbat's fight against Gaoh Ryuki (although in the former case, it is more of a personal dislike of the man), though he is willing to stop a fight when he deems it necessary. Rolon is also very intuitive, able to understand the situation in front of him and even what another person might think. As a result of his high position in the Purgatory rankings, Rolón is both respected and feared by his fellow gladiators. In return, Rolón also gives respect to those who deserve it, such as Carlos Medel and the other king, Arashiyama Jurota.

History

A legendary martial arts instructor of the Philippine Army, whose name is known to every martial artist in Southeast Asia. At the age of 20, Rolon was discovered and surrounded by the Worm, only to kill them all rather easily and without much enthusiasm, and would go on to annihilate any and all members of the Worm who were unlucky enough to encounter him in life, with his kill count easily in the triple digits. Rolón would eventually leave military life behind and serve as a bodyguard for big names in the criminal underworld. At one point, at the age of 24, Rolón would fight a young Kuroki Gensai until they eventually killed the target, prematurely ending their fight. Rolón was part of Purgatory from its inception, and has not lost a match since, holding an unfathomable win-loss record of 422-0. His dominance has long since earned him the title of King, quite fittingly. A year before the Kengan VS Purgatory Association Tournament, Rolón became the champion of the Purgatory Ultimate Gladiator Playoffs.
