Appearance:

Sebastian’s body is shaped similarly to that of a sea snake, in that it is elongated with blue scales. At the end of his body is a large tail fin. Sebastian’s skin is a light blue. His torso is humanoid, with two larger arms and one smaller arm on his left side. Sebastian’s hands are humanoid, although he only has four fingers with claw-like ends. Sebastian’s face retains a humanoid face (which is mostly always smiling) with fish-like features, such as an anglerfish bulb on his forehead, fin-like appendages on his head, sharp teeth, a fish-like mouth, and a third eye on his right side. He also has a gold/yellow ring on his pinkie finger (lower left arm). Sebastian is seen in-game wearing a dark brown jacket with a white undershirt and a white cravat. He also wears various belts and accessories such as a holster with a gun, a portable security scrambling device, a bandage around his smallest arm, and a small pin with a photo of a cat on it. Sebastian’s tail has several pouches that hold the supplies that he sells to the player.

Personality:

Sebastian runs a makeshift shop in which he sells items and supplies to prisoners in exchange for any research that they are carrying. He also supplies items to the player through Dead Drops, requesting kroner in exchange for items to be left at the Submarine Dock. Sebastian does not see convicts sent by Urbanshade as his enemies and is willing to help them in exchange for their help. The more times you exit and enter his shop, the more annoyed he gets, eventually kicking you out. Sebastian can also be seen while the player is viewing Documents, being the one who shows the documents to the player. He will often reply with snarky or comedic comments about each monster. Interestingly, Sebastian has been forbidden from showing Mr. Lopee’s document. As of the Friendly Fire update, Sebastian is capable of damaging/killing the player if they flash him with a Flash Beacon. Upon doing it for the first time, Sebastian will pick up said player, say, "Don't do that again", break their Flash Beacon and throw them to the ground, dealing 50 DMG. If any player proceeds to flash Sebastian after the warning, he will instead pull out a triple barrel shotgun and shoot said player, instantly killing them. He will then tell the killed player that he warned them and does not show the document on him.

Backstory:

From his document, his first appearance in the pressure timeline is in 2013, when he is charged for murdering 9 people, and sent to execution by electric chair. Before that happened, Urbanshade ‘swooped’ him up, sending out a fake execution report, which ended up in Sebastian being declared dead. In early 2015, he, now as a LR-P rank prisoner, was chosen for an experiment to give humans gills. He was tested on with DNA of a mutated angler fish, ███████, a blue whale, a great white shark, a silver spinyfin, a mantis shrimp and a sea snake. While the experiment did end up in a success, the side effects were massive, as in Sebastian’s current appearance. There was a chance at reversing the physical damage done, but it wasn’t necessary due to his low rank. Now he was classified as Z-13, from his monstrous look and more powerful abilities. Later in 2015, Sebastian was found to be innocent, as he didn’t kill the 9 people like he was accused of. However, this information wasn’t told to Sebastian, nor was he released to the public. Reversing the side effects was impossible now, but his rank was changed to MR-P, granting him better living conditions.

Z-13 - New codename: "The Saboteur", previous codename "Handy Man", real name: “Sebastian Solace", is to be KILLED ON SIGHT without hesitation. Z-13 is incredibly dangerous; caution is required if encountered. Despite his size, Z-13 is incredibly nimble, allowing him to quickly outmaneuver and flank operatives. It should also be noted that Z-13 is currently in possession of our experimental portable SCRAMBLER, meaning that any and all CCTV, radios, and other communications equipment will be rendered offline in a ██ by ██ stud radius of his presence. Operatives must conduct a communications check with HQ every 5 minutes to ensure they are not within range of the SCRAMBLER. If HQ cannot be reached, operatives should remain on high alert for a possible ambush whilst attempting to check in as often as possible. After feigning the effects of anesthesia, Z-13 pretended to succumb and woke up unguarded during transport. He killed Elite Guardsman ███████, acquiring his high clearance keycard, and proceeded to release as many monsters as possible from their containment cells, causing a site-wide lockdown. Before stealing and reconfiguring the experimental SCRAMBLER, CCTV captured Z-13 trading stolen items for research findings from EXR-P expedition party members. His exact motivations remain unknown, but encrypted radio broadcasts to Innovation Inc, Bloxtop, Deluge Labs, and Pinewood suggest he is gathering confidential Urbanshade information to leverage a way out with a rival organization . Although uncertain if he continues to trade with incoming parties, it is highly probable. In early 2015, Z-13 was selected to be part of an experiment to give humans gills, using DNA strands from a blue whale, ███████, a sea snake, a great white shark, a female anglerfish, a silver spinyfin, and a mantis shrimp. Whilst the experimentation was a success and Z-13 gained the ability to breathe underwater, the obvious visual and bodily side effects left much to be desired.

These side effects were quickly ironed out and refined on future test subjects, and the gill procedure was quickly applied to all the Guardsmen working at the Blacksite. The initial periods following the experimentation are the optimal times to reverse physical side effects, but this was not deemed necessary for Z-13 due to his LR-P status. His monstrous appearance, characteristics, and abilities led to his classification as Z-13. After this experiment, seeing no further use for him in human testing, Z-13 was assigned to underwater equipment maintenance. In late 2015, it was discovered that Z-13 had not killed the nine individuals he was accused of, and that an innocent man had been wrongfully sentenced to death. Despite this revelation, it was decided not to inform Z-13 or release him to the public, as he was legally declared deceased. At this stage, reversing the mutations was no longer feasible, as the opportunity to do so had long passed. However, his rank was changed to MR-P, providing him with better living conditions and access to recreational programs available to MR-P's. Under no circumstances can Z-13 be allowed to leave the Blacksite alive. If any operative encounters Z-13, they must abandon their previous objectives and, as Mr. Shade himself state, "Shred their mags until their trigger-finger bleeds." If these documents are shown to unauthorized personnel, you'll be put up for demotion, and any cover-up fees will be sent to your relatives.

Some facts:

Sebastian is voiced by Gianni Matragrano, who also voices Gabriel from ULTRAKILL, one of the games that inspired Pressure. Gianni agreed to voice Sebastian due to him finding the character "cute". Sebastian is confirmed to be 31 years old according to Zeal in a questionnaire, and shares the same age as his voice actor, Gianni Matragrano. Brock Baker (more commonly known as Brody Fox) was at one point considered to be a VA for Sebastian if Gianni rejected the role. Encountering Sebastian Solace in his Shop for the first time will reward the player with the "Uneasy Alliance" Badge. Buying every item available in Sebastian's Shop in a single run will reward the player with the "Sebastian's Outfit" Jumpsuit and the "Just Good Business" Badge. When exiting or tabbing out, Sebastian always says "Goodbye" to the player. When setting off for an expedition, as the Submarine departs Sebastian can be quietly heard telling the player "Good luck out there!". This voice line is also played upon exiting or tabbing out the game. Sebastian was originally supposed to have a gas mask as YourFriendZeal did not want to animate his mouth. Sebastian carries a scrambler that disables video surveillance and communication systems on his back that prevents Urbanshade from finding him. Sebastian was originally not supposed to have Ear Fins. The photo of the cat on Sebastian’s pin is a photo of YourFriendZeal’s cat. Sebastian can control the anglerfish light on his forehead as if it were a lamp, pulling it down to turn it on and off. Before his transformation, Sebastian's height was 5'10 (~177 cm). His current height is 10'6 (~320 cm). Sebastian's human form had a large scar in the middle of his face, since his transformation it has disappeared. Sebastian sees credits as useless and does not like delivering dead drops; insulting the player if he is forced to do a delivery. This does not apply if a player enters his shop to buy items using research found inside the Blacksite.

Some facts (2):

One of Sebastian's Dialogues (one when you don't have enough data to purchase an item) is a reference to Morshu’s Dialogue. from Link: The Faces of Evil. Sebastian was created with the joint effort of Zerum and Zeal, with Whales, Easy and Hobo assisting with character design and name. Jax and River were two out of a multitude of names that were considered before Sebastian was eventually chosen. Sebastian can purge the poison gained by consuming a wall dwellers flesh. this costs 1199$, even though you can purchase a Medkit and purge the toxin only for 399$. According to Zerum and Zeal, Sebastian is married to Zerum (the OC). This does not affect the game itself (IT'S NOT EVEN TRUE). According to Zerum, Sebastian's human form is described to have blue-ish green eyes. Sebastian is featured in a Collab Update with the game Regretevator. Sebastian will complain to the player saying it is "a waste" when the player uses a Code Breacher instead of the keycard to enter the next the room. If the player takes the card to the next room and holds it while buying an item. Sebastian insults the player, asking them what they are doing and calling them stupid. If the player uses a Flash Beacon on Sebastian, he will pick them up saying "Don't do that again," break the Flash Beacon, and throw them onto the ground, dealing a large chunk of damage. Should the player try this a second time, he will pull out a gun and shoot the player, killing them instantly. This will grant the player the badge "You Deserve This". Sebastian's anger cannot be resolved by buying something from him. Sebastian will snatch classified documents (which can be found in certain places) from you if you interact with them. He will reach over your head and take the document from you before you can open it. Turning around will not let you see him. Sebastian didn't originally wear a ring until the recent Friendly-Fire Update.

Some facts (3):

A special voiceline of Sebastian will play if at least 1 person on your team has met him before and the rest have not. Sebastian has a special voiceline for when you purchase his entire stock. Whenever you avoid going to Sebastian’s shop and instead go to the next door, he tries coaxing you to go to his vent. Sebastian appears around door 45-60, before encountering the Searchlights. If you encounter Sebastian, going through the next few doors will cause the door of the room he is located in to shut, making his shop inaccessible. Sebastian has its own game made by Zeal ''Cart Ride into Sebastian Solace''. If the player were to respawn and visit the shop again, Sebastian will say a secret voice line.

Headcanons:

He takes nap on the bottom floor of the ocean. He actually smell like shit if he stays too much out of water (he's literally a fish) Since he's mixed with a blue whale, he can speak in really high frequencies and sometimes he make fake calls to confuse whales as a joke. He actually experiment on himself since there's stuff they never told him about. He's slow as hell both IN the sea and OUT (because he's way too large and heavy). He's friends with Froger and they hang out together, and Sebastian is the reason why she comes 3 times instead of one. P.AI.nter tries to kill Sebastian when He scavage. He has white/soft blues eyes because he got parasites (usually happens to deep sea creatures) and he's half blind. Will not use utensils, always use his claws. Can be a massive flirt if he wants. An absolute menace in the water, like if you were swimming and you saw this man coming after you, you'd have a heart attack. Love language is physical touch, he'll be extremely protective and wrap his arms and tail around you and stuff. Pretend to not give a shit but in reality he's very invested and concerned. Occasionally smokes when he's stressed. He loves to eat fish, and he hunt them like a wild animal (probably obvious). Stretches like a cat. Regularly spits out his own teeth (because shark dna i guess) and just have a pile of them on the floor behind him. Absolute fiend for olive garden breadsticks. He has a tiny TV somewhere he uses to rewatch all the Star Wars movies. Screams at everything while watching horror movies. Sleeps like a cat. Has scammed someone at some point just to be an ass. He likes to doodle on his arms, like gears and such. He likes fixing used codes breachers he finds and repurposing them. His favorite color is purple. His hair is really long, and despite having acess to scissors he refuses to cut it because it's one of few things that makes him human. When he's angry sometimes his tail thrashes around and stuff goes flying.

Headcanons (2):

He has a bad habit of chewing plastic. He tried piercing his ear with a paper clip and almost tore the corner of his ear off trying to get it unstuck. He sleeps in a comically large cardboard box. He keeps a note pad in his coat of what he needs of snatch for his shop. Sometimes his angler fish antenna flickers on and off on its own. He doesn't like the wall dwellers at all and sometimes eats the remains if the expendables don't. He doesn't like brushing his hair because sometimes it tugs his antenna and ears and it hurts. He remembers the painful days before he was experimented on and wish just go back. He probably has like 20 pillows hidden that he sleeps on. He sometimes wish that maybe he'll see his siblings again. He doesn't understand how to use a phone. He sometimes forget that his lure is attached to his head and chase it around like a cat toy. He likes to scare the players through the vents, so sometimes he'll go "boo" through a random vent that isn't visible to the players and scares out the shit of them. Despite him grabbing his items mostly from the expendables dead bodies, he can't help but see himself as one of them, remembering that he was once a lifeless body. He struggles to get the items strapped on his tail because sometimes he gets distracted and chase his own tail (like a cat). His shop are barely ever on, he relies on his lure since too many lights make everything hazy and he doesn't want to be vulnerable again. He barely uses his third arm since its basically like a twig and can get damaged easily. He doesn't eat very much, but sometimes steals the snacks out of a random Expendable pocket. He has slow regeneration abilities, He found out because he accidentally bit the light off his lure off. He hits the vent door off with his tail whenever a expendable comes by. His jacket used to have hoodie strings that he chewed at while he was bored and became devasted when they fell out. He sews his own clothing with the fabric from dead expendable shirt

Headcanons (3):

The moment he was out of immediate danger after causing the monsters to escape, the first thing he tried to do was claw at his face as try to remove the scales so he felt a bit more human (he has scars from this). Would die to try a piece of bubblegum (his parents never allowed him to have any while he was human). He tried to contact the outside world with the radio he has, it never worked. He has lisp that you can only hear if you listen closely. He has tried many different sleeping positions and once tried hanging from a pipe and bonked his head after it broke. He has definitely favorite customers (the ones who he seen a multiple times that hasnt never flashed him with with a beacon). He has his own toy remote that he uses to talk to imaginary friend with (they're besties). He has hallucinations in the dark, except that all the faces are blurry, but despite that, he can vaguely recognize the voices. If he's exausted and an expendable came by he would mumble in spanish while they were buying things. When he wakes up stretches like a cat. He has a small hidden stash of alcohol. Nonchalantly likes Dress to Impress. When searching for items for his shop he 100% smacks his head on the doorframes by mistake. Sometimes plays with his bulb light thingy like it's a toy. When he was human he loved Just Dance. Causally rolls up like a ball, almost like a cat do and he just falls asleep like that. Has a secret stash of plushies. He picked up his drinking and smoking problems from his dad. Could be literally bleeding to death and still not ask for help due to trust issues. Hallucinates his family sometimes. This drives him insane. Despite being extremely cold towards affection due his trust issues, he misses being hugged. Reminds him of his mom. Despite being touch-starved, he hate the idea being touched by any of expendables. After all, who'd wanna be touched after being poked and prodded for so long.

Headcanons (4):

If you manage to gain his trust, he'll follow you around like a lost puppy. You could easily destroy his trust and any last faith he had in humanity. The experiments are extremely slow. His body changed slowly after the dna was put inside him. This process was agonizing and painful. He hides his gills, they're the reason he likes this in the first place. Whenever you flash him with the flash beacon, it causes hum either pain and discomfort, since most angler fish are sensitive at bright light. He hits his head on door frames all the times because he forgets his size change. The great white shark dna probably causes him to go into a slight frenzy when he smells blood. He likes having his items organized nicely and having count on how much of everything he has just in case he needs to somehow squirm out and gather some objects (he very rarely has to tho). He spent a whole evening experimeting with his new vocal rage, but sometimes the creature noises are involuntary. Just because he's partially a sea snake, sometimes he wil accidentally and randomly prounounce his name as "Sssssebastian". He needs a little debbie cake. He's actually like a cat coded, he tried once to sleep like a cat does and realize how comfortable it is. Whenever he is bored and has nothing to do, he wiggles his light bulb like a cat. He allow you to rest a while in his shop and allow you rest against his tail as he rest his hand on your head to calm you down. If a Wall Dweller follows you through the vents, he will shove it away with his tail. Curls his tail losely around his lover, and would a do a slow dance with you, despite his body he's quite confident. If he would see you and a expendable he don't fw talking together, he'll just look and crosses his arms dissaprovingly. He gives discounts to children because he thinks they can't carry as much as adults (he counts everything under 20 as a child). Will follow his lover or platonic child around like a guard dog.

Headcanons (5):

He does small favors for datas such as: Letting the person rest at his shop, giving extra tips, tending wounds + looking over injured spots, and giving out food. He is the staring eye contact monster, he can stare people down especially in his shop or if he follow you. When you move around as a team, He lets you sit on his tail, puts you in his coat or he holds you up with one hand. Or he lets you walk besides him but he makes sure no Wall Dweller sneaks up. He would bring his lover items like a cat, not items from his shop buy random things he finds: books, bracelets, pencil, etc. If he likes you whatever way, he will make sure you get meals down. Scared of syringes because they remind him of the experiments he went through. Doesn't sleep a lot, but when he does have dreams of his mother. Strayed away from his chilean-american culture. Dislike kids a bit but very protective of his little sibling. Didn't have the best relationship with his older sibling but now regrets it. Is a mama's boy. Uses humor and sarcasm to cope. Sits in darkness when he's alone because he doesn't like the light. Doesn't know what the doors of his shop do. When he wakes up to his angler light above him, he gets scared because he thinks it's the surgery light above him when he was experimented on. His transformation was very slow and excruciating. He's a light sleeper so the smallest movement or soundo would wake up him + he always wake up first. Even though he's stated to be fast and nimble, he would avoid water due to the scrambler on his back. He could probably do that airplane thing that cats do whenever he's stressed. Once he's comfortable around you, he'll ironically hold you close to him if you cuddling with him/resting on his tail, since he's technically cold-blooded. His lower arm is weaker than his upper ones so he makes sure too keep it out of range in case he's in any sort of danger.

Headcanons (6):

Probably has a weird sense of time even before he got experimented on. He was either pulling all nighters or woke up at 6 AM on the dot, and it doesn't help that he's now just nocturnal. Touching his hair would feel like dipping your hair in cooking oil. Was a absolute loser, has no bitches, and didn't shower a long time ago. Hates board games. Can't write or read and has a horrible vision. Will be petty towards you if you used the flash beacon on him. His tail rattles whenever he's angry/annoyed. He's not a lemon shark but he'll purposely smack an expendable with his tail if they get close to the one he actually favors. Tends to stay in the dark for longs periods of time due to his sensitivity. He can stay in dimly lit places but that's it. He has a soft spot for expendables who have a inhuman features/appearances through he doesn't show it. Is the type to stare you down from across the room and will not look away no matter what. His Dna was also mixed with something that's blackened out but his body gives off an bioluminescent glow if his lure isn't on. It's faint but it's enough too see a good few feet in front of him. If you can flip him upside down he goes into a trance like a statue and will not say anything for hours. He's very reluctant to physical touch so it'll take him a long while for him get used for it. He'll pick up and put you in a high place whenever he feels it. He can purr. He made his own type of his clothes since the ones before weren't able to fit him anymore. He's not the best at sewing buy it's enough for a few pieces. He has everything but the thing you need when you get to his shop thanks to his high hearing. He's not immune to the brain rot and will find himself saying shit the other expendables have said before. Can and will grab you by the back of your collar and drag you across the room if needed. He literally slinks around his shop like jello thanks to his bones.

Depending on if he favors you or not, he'll give you a discount on some items you needed. Prefers to given forehead kisses. Has an journal he used to carry around that either has smalls sketches of you or notes for a song that reminds him of you. When he proposed, he choose an more secluded spot (preferably a beach or a place that's your favorite exclusively. Quite literally will thrown someone into a wall if they touch his hair. Probably has an squishy face.
