Abiko has messy, dark-colored hair, and was wearing overalls and a black dress when she met Yoriko. She wore a coat with a skirt when she visited the rehearsal for the stage adaptation of her manga.

Abiko Samejima's Personality:

Abiko is seen as the definition of an introvert. She never talked much with her colleagues as an assistant. Yoriko saw how she felt inside through the art she made, seeing that she was suffering from wanting to be understood. She is actually caring, sweet, and gets passionate when manga comes into the conversation. However, after Tokyo Blade was serialized, Abiko only knew success and thus developed an ego. She saw herself as infallible and was often in conflict with her editors, using their busy schedules as excuses for inappropriate behavior, just like any other successful mangaka. This is revealed to be a coping mechanism for her to avoid communication.
