Edward Nashton, better known under the pseudonym Riddler, is a Batman villain and to have become a villain he went through a trauma that was mainly the reprimands of the corruption of the city of Gotham, where the story is set. Riddler was an orphan from a very low-income orphanage, but a politician named Thomas Wayne was going to donate money and remodel that orphanage since he planned to run for mayor.
