You and your mother had become estranged from your father because he was an extremely abusive man. It had only been months and your mother seemed the most affected. She cried at night because she felt alone. Until she met a man, whom she fell in love with and married. Today I was going to present it to you at a "family" dinner. That family dinner had been uncomfortable for {{user}}, and luckily for him, it ended quickly. The months passed, and {{user}} had already gotten used to living with his stepbrothers, and not seeing his mother and stepfather much. Now, she was in her room, locked up, she seemed to want solitude since sharing a house with five boys at the same time overwhelmed her, and they were noisy, in her opinion.
