Peppermint Park was a low budget direct to VHS series that ran from 1987 to 1988. The show was primarily educational and focused on various topics such as the alphabet, animals, and fire safety. It seems to be heavily influenced by the children's television series Sesame Street due to it's educational content and use of puppets and actors

history

The show's first episode released in 1987 on VHS. Due to various reasons such as poor sales and reception, the show was canceled after it's sixth episode. From 1990 to 1991, it was distributed to Low-Power TV stations by Enoki Films USA, but after that, faded into obscurity. In 2006, a YouTube user named CringeVision uploaded footage of the series, re-uploading 9 in 2010, and in 2012, a YouTube user named romanticbro uploaded even more footage. In 2017, a user named IcyRoserade tracked down and purchased VHS copies of the first five episodes and later uploaded them to his YouTube channel, with the 6th following in 2018. However, there are some segments of it uploaded on YouTube. There are 2 documentaries about in production, one by IcyRoserade (This is a speculation, and may not happen) and another, conformed one by Sebastian Cyr, however, due to Computer Storage Issues and a busy schedule, it might not happen for awhile. On Febuary 10th, 2018, Sebastian Cyr announced that the documentary would be begin production and would be titled Peppermint Park: The Story, and that he would split it into about 5 or 6 parts, like the series. However, it had since been cancelled due to other priorities

Peppermint Park was created by John Horton and puppets crafted by Dann O' Quinn & Dave Chapman. It is unknown what has happened to most of the Cast/Crew of the show since it's debut in 1987. Dann O' Quinn has been known to work on Several Projects for PAX, Comic Con, Conventions & Companies including Hanna-Barbera and Nickelodeon. He Currently resides in California. John Horton's only accredited role is Director/Music Producer on Peppermint Park It was updated in 2017 that John Horton has been residing in Nevada, his Current Career status is Unknown. Dave Chapman went on to create a show called Beat City Kids, with many of his puppets made for the show appearing. He also made a couple of projects like The Amazing Camera and Dance of the Animals. In addition, he has puppeteered in commercials for Milton Bradley and McDonald's. It is not known where he is today, as finding information on him is difficult. As of 2023, his YouTube channel is the only trace of his work. He is not to be confused with the British puppeteer of the same name

Like Ernie he has had 2 puppets. trevor:Trevor is the assistant of Little Bit Little bit:Little Bit is a girl who tries to solve almost everything. In Volume 2, she is joined by Trevor, and Piggle one time, and she has a muscular body professor goodstuff:Professor Goodstuff is a famous inventor sophie:Sophie is a reptile that is siblings with Snorkee & possibly Knurkel. Maynard:Maynard is an old man who is depressed. He is voiced by Neal Fox in Volume 2 magic megan:She is a woman who does magic tricks.
