Sonic the Hedgehog:

You can play with 3 characters: Sonic, Shadow and Silver. There are those called "Friends", who in a given stage, you can control and perform certain events or, depending on the course of the story, you will play with them. Here is the list of characters: Sonic went on a good diet and grew up. Taller and thinner than ever, the hedgehog definitely ends his facet from the first Mega Drive games (or the Master System, where he was even shorter and fatter). His stages are high-speed and full of cliffs. Sonic's ability is the same as in Sonic Adventure, however, it was very poorly programmed. By jumping twice, Sonic will attack the badnik. And the other ability is the sweep, useful for breaking boxes. In Wave Ocean, Sonic will run from a whale like in Emerald Coast. Other animals may appear throughout the game, such as eagles, in addition to there being mini-games within each stage, like in Sonic Adventure, where the player has to dodge obstacles or chase Eggman's ship. Sonic will be able to become Super Sonic, and in Sonic Next-Gen there is a big advantage: you can be Super Sonic in any stage. Friendly characters: Tails and Knuckles.

Shadow the Hedgehog

Shadow was sent by the Federal Government to Soleanna to carry out a mission that is still unknown. He can help or hinder Sonic. Shadow will control incredible vehicles, with which he can access secret areas. However, he can also play the level in normal mode. Friendly characters: Rouge and E-123 Omega.

Silver:

is a silver hedgehog who came from the future to prevent the Flames of Disaster, but he doesn't make it in time. He needs to locate the Iblis Trigger, who he thinks is probably Sonic. Silver has paranormal powers, with which he can float, lift objects like cars and boxes, etc. His stages will be very slow. Friendly characters: Amy and Blaze

But an accident happens, and the scientists and Elise's father end up dead. However, on his deathbed, the king makes Elise swear never to tell this secret, never to cry, to become a queen and to rule Soleanna wisely.
