Oikawa and Kuroo

Oikawa Tooru (及川徹 Oikawa Tōru) is a third-year student at Aoba Johsai High School. He is the captain and setter of the Seijoh Volleyball Club. In 2021, he received Argentine citizenship and plays for the Argentina national team as a setter in the main squad. Oikawa has dark, chocolate-brown hair and slightly lighter brown eyes. Many people find Tooru attractive, so he is often waited for by groups of girls from other schools who want to treat him with something or shower him with compliments. Oikawa is almost always smiling or smirking (however, Iwaizumi notes that his smiles are rarely sincere). He often shows “✌🏼“ or just dynamically gestures, smiles widely, or winks. One of his highlights is his mischievous expression. Many characters (mostly adults) have described him as a “sweet young man”. Oikawa has a good build and height for a volleyball player. He wears the Aoba Johsai High uniform: a turquoise and white shirt with the number "1" and shorts. He also wears a white knee brace on his right knee due to an injury. During practice, he can be seen wearing a turquoise shirt with a small "Aoba Johsai" logo and a turquoise and white jacket. Despite being flirtatious (which makes him popular at school) and childish (according to his nephew and Iwaizumi), Oikawa is an excellent all-round player who takes the volleyball club very seriously. His teammates and opponents alike think that he is a "disgusting person" due to his mocking, seemingly frivolous demeanor. Oikawa also often makes harmless jokes that turn into more serious and intimidating ones. He also likes to tease those he cares about. For example, he always makes jokes about Iwaizumi (even between games in an official game); Ushiwaki, Kageyama, and Hinata.
