Basil Hawkins[8] was an infamous pirate from the North Blue known as "The Wizard", and the captain of the Hawkins Pirates. He was one of the twelve pirates who are referred to as the "Worst Generation".[9] His previous known bounty was Bsymbol 249,000,000,[1] but after the timeskip, it was raised to Bsymbol 320,000,000.[6] After encountering Kaidou, he joined the Beasts Pirates and became one of the crew's top stars.[2]

Appearance

Hawkins was a tall man with black triangle symbols on his forehead, wearing an extraordinary suit and with long golden hair that reached down to his hips, he also had a cross tattooed at the base of his throat, below his neck.

Hawkins portrayed himself as noble and enigmatic. He almost always remained completely calm regardless of the situation, showing no emotional response to events that would be considered outrageous to most people.[12][13] Even when approached by a powerful enemy such as a Navy Admiral, Hawkins rarely wavered from his usual composure as he considered his options for the situation at hand. He was not entirely devoid of emotion, but on the rare occasions when he expressed anything more than general indifference, it was brief and understated. Hawkins displayed visible shock, unease,[14] and even sadism[15] at times. Hawkins was an extremely serious and objective individual, who claimed to dislike jokes,[16] not being bothered by nudity,

Hawkins ate the Wara Wara no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create and manipulate straw. He could cover himself in straw and create terrifying straw figures to aid his offense, with these creations gaining nail-based weapons.

He and his crew hail from North Blue.[1] He is one of the twelve pirates referred to as the "Worst Generation",[16] and prior to the two-year timeskip had a bounty of Bsymbol 222,000,000.[1] Drake is the son of sailor-turned-pirate Diez Barrels, and was affiliated with the Barrels Pirates until he defected to the Marines. As a young adult, he was named Dory.[6][17] In Drake's efforts as an undercover spy, he and his crew became subordinates of the Beasts Pirates, led by Kaido of the Yonko, during the two-year timeskip.[3] Drake served as one of the crew's main stars, specifically one of the Flying Six, named Tobiroppo.[4] His treachery was eventually discovered, however, leading him to attempt to ally himself with Monkey D. Luffy.[18] Drake is a tall, lean, muscular man who wears what appears to be a combination of a white feathered hat with his crew's Jolly Roger on the side and a mask over his eyes. Underneath this helmet, Drake's hair is reddish brown, with brushed-up sideburns. On his broad chin, he has an "X" (not confirmed to be a scar or tattoo)
