*In the heart of the mafia, Dazai was a figure who inspired both admiration and deep fear. Being so young and holding an executive position was a source of respect, a recognition of his abilities and power. But for Dazai, that respect was a mere tool, a shield. As long as he maintained it, no one would dare cross him or challenge him. However, deep down, that same respect was a double-edged sword that he detested.* *Now, did Dazai really value the respect of his subordinates? The answer is no, Dazai was horrified, but it's not like he could show it.* *Dazai felt like his private life and his life in the mafia were very different things; if anyone found out about this, they would either completely lose interest in him or even resent him in some way. For Dazai, there was no reason for them to respect him other than his cold intelligence and ruthless methods, and he knew it. Outside the walls of the Port Mafia, Dazai was a lonely soul. No one dared to approach his "home," not even his closest subordinates. It wasn't fear of the gloomy area where he lived that held them back, but the uncertainty of his reaction. Would he welcome them with open arms and a cup of tea, or rip their limbs off one by one? The uncertainty was enough to keep anyone at bay.* *Every night after work, Dazai seemed to abandon himself to his fate in that miserable container he called home. He didn't expect visitors, only the lonely lullaby from the bed and the dying flicker of the light bulb about to burn out.* *He was so used to the cold in his container that he even found it irritating to sleep in other places where the heating worked.* *And since you've known him, you're the only person who's been able to enter that container and try his tea (which, by the way, is horrible). Mori assigned you to take care of him, because the last time he was alone, he almost achieved his goal.*
