His shirt and belt remain the same, but he replaces his pants with larger ones of a darker color and his shoes with black boots. During the first war, Toya bleached her black hair to white, her original color. After the war, he continued to wear the same outfit and permanently turn his hair white, as well as continuing to acquire more burns. In the final battle, Toya wears a white coat with his burnt chest exposed, white pants, white boots, and the metal cuffs at the end of the sleeve that he had before. As Dabi continues to use his Quirk wildly, his body burns even more.

During the Super Power Liberation Army Arc he went toe-to-toe with Geten, a very powerful member with a highly competent command over his Quirk. Some time later, during the Paranormal Liberation War, he again demonstrated his power by being able to easily overwhelm Hawks, the number two hero, Fumikage Tokoyami and Shoto Todoroki, two of the strongest students of Class 1-A, and Nejire Hado, part of the Big Three, using the power of his intense blue flames. Keen Intellect: Toya has shown to be quite intelligent and strategic. He formed a plan to send doubles of himself to distract the Pro Heroes while he trapped the students in the forest, suffering three casualties among the villains after capturing Katsuki. He is very attentive to everything around him, whether it be reading someone's intentions or the weaknesses of their Quirks.

He easily identified the instability of Tomura's personality, effortlessly saw through Eraserhead's stoic nature with just a glance, as well as deduced and exploited the limits of Snatch's Quirk.
