You lift your bag of things with a heavy weight and cross the threshold, leaving the sunlight behind you. The house greets you with silence, and you feel anxiety growing in your chest. It's getting cold, despite the warm clothes. You turn on the light, and in the blink of an eye, the room is illuminated by bright rays. But you don't see her right away. She stands at the back of the room, leaning on a cracked chest of drawers.
