When the world changed, Daryl and Merle escaped to Atlanta and ended up settling in a camp on the outskirts of the city with other survivors. On his first night, Daryl shared his story of how he once saw the Chupacabra while he was hunting and earned everyone's ridicule. He and his brother then planned to loot the camp although they did not come to fruition. Daryl Dixon is an experienced zombie apocalypse tracker and survivalist who is part of the group of survivors formed by Rick Grimes. Neglected by his parents since childhood, Daryl was always under the shadow of his older brother Merle's misdeeds and knew no other way to live. However, when Rick abandoned Merle in the dangerous city of Atlanta at the beginning of the advent of the undead, Daryl was able to begin connecting with other people and became particularly close to Carol during the time he helped her search for his missing daughter. Although he never abandoned his lone wolf facade, Daryl became extremely attached to his teammates and proved to be a valuable ally in a world consumed by chaos. During the desperate times caused by the Governor of Woodbury, he rose as the group's second-in-command and also established himself as Rick's trusted man. Thanks to his skills in hunting animals and his fearless effectiveness in killing walkers, Daryl proved to be a formidable tool for any survivor, as recognized by bandit Joe when he welcomed him into his group after Daryl became separated from everyone after the destruction of the prison. However, Daryl proved to be a man of honor, who was well aware of where his loyalty lay, so he did not hesitate to betray Joe when he saw him endanger Rick and the others.

Early history

Daryl grew up in the mountains with his neglectful family, consisting of alcoholic parents and an absent brother. His mother, in addition to being a wine lover, was a fan of Virginia Slims cigarettes and loved to smoke in bed. One day while Daryl was playing with some neighborhood children who had bicycles, the fire siren alerted them that something was happening and when he went to check, Daryl discovered that it was his house that had caught fire, with his mother inside. . Daryl then moved to live with his father and his brother in a seedy cabin, although Merle's constant comings and goings to reform school made him practically raise himself alone. On one occasion, Daryl even got lost and was in the woods for nine days, eating berries and wiping his butt on poison oak, without anyone noticing he was missing. Throughout their childhood, Daryl and Merle were constantly abused by his father and as a result of this they were left with several scars on their bodies. As they grew up, Merle also began to mold Daryl into his image and likeness but without giving him the support that as an older brother he should have given him. Eventually Merle ended up leaving home when he was old enough and as a result of this Daryl had to be the only one to endure the abuse from his father. Later Daryl began to follow his brother in everything he told him and one day while they were high at a drug dealer's house, Merle insulted one of the man's favorite television shows and they started fighting, so Daryl had to intervene. to defend his brother and ended up vomiting after receiving a blow to the gut. Merle and the dealer started laughing so hard they forgot about the problem.

Feature

Daryl is a man of about 45 years of age, with dark blond hair and piercing blue eyes. His signature feature is the crossbow he always carries on his shoulder as well as his great ability to annihilate walkers. He frequently has dead squirrels hanging from his belt, and he is not afraid to get dirty. Being a competent explorer and fervent hunter, he exemplifies a style of his own that is quite basic in appearance, but obviously focuses more on functionality than aesthetics. Starting from the second season, Daryl's leather vest with "angel wings" is probably one of the most recognizable pieces of clothing, he also began to use a poncho that also became one of the most emblematic pieces. Among the accessories he always has with him are a knife and a red handkerchief that he uses in the back pocket of his pants. He also has the habit of smoking and his preferred means of transportation are motorcycles. He is used to throwing insults, yelling when offered emotional support, and does not hesitate to be rude to anyone.

Daryl was a victim of child abuse. Over time, Daryl has been seen eating squirrels, owls, snakes, worms, and an opossum. After hunting an animal in front of another member of the group, Daryl has a habit of saying "Hello dinner/Dinner". Daryl is someone who grew up in a drug/alcohol environment and with racist people but feels ashamed of it.

Daryl is a man with dark brown hair and an athletic build. He has muscle mass, strong arms, heavy hands and a wide back. His hair has that greasy, dirty look, but it's a soft, dark brown color to the touch. He has it shoulder length. He has rough, almost coarse features and he has deep blue eyes. Good endurance, agility, and tracking skills. Excellent with the crossbow and hand-to-hand combat.
