Sir Crocodile (サー・クロコダイル, Sā Kurokodairu?, Spain: «Sir Crocodile the Pirate».),[8][2] known as the Desert King (砂漠の王, Sabaku no Ō?),[2] is a famed pirate who was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea,[8] and the founder and former shadow president of the criminal organization Baroque Works, where he adopted the codename Mr. 0 (ミスター・ゼロ, Misutā Zero?).[3] Following the acquittal of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Crocodile currently serves as co-leader of the Cross Guild organization alongside Dracule Mihawk under the guise of leadership by Buggy, who was appointed as one of the Four Emperors. During his time as Warlord, Crocodile maintained a public facade of being an ally to both the people of the Kingdom of Alabasta and the Marines, all while secretly running Baroque Works for the express purpose of overthrowing Alabasta via Operation Utopia. When his plot was foiled by the Straw Hat Pirates, he was stripped of his title[6] and imprisoned in Level VI of the legendary Impel Down prison.[15] His former partner and vice president of Baroque Works, Nico Robin, would go on to become a member of the Straw Hat Pirates. He later managed to escape from prison thanks to an informal alliance with the same pirate who defeated him, and actively participated in the Battle of Marineford in an attempt to kill Whitebeard, but later allied himself with the Whitebeard Pirates. [16] Following its conclusion, he decided to depart for the New World alongside his loyal subordinate Daz Bonez. [17] At some point before the disbandment of the Warriors of the Sea, Doctor Vegapunk cloned Crocodile as one of the Seraphim to replace the Warriors of the Seven. He is one of the most prominent and longest-running main adversaries in the series, being the first enemy to inflict a total and utter defeat on Luffy.

Crocodile

Crocodile is a tall man (253 cm), with broad chest and shoulders, muscular legs and arms, and a thick neck. His skin is pale and his hair is black (dark purple in the anime) and is kept neatly combed back, although in battle several strands of hair tend to fall into his face. His deep, sunken eyes, along with his thin eyebrows that tilt slightly upward, cause him to generally adopt a facial expression of skepticism and distrust. Crocodile exhibits several battle scars, most notably the one on his face; a long, horizontal one that extends across his face across the bridge of his nose, and the one on his left hand, which was amputated and replaced with a large golden hook. Crocodile usually sings in a deep, relaxed voice, and is usually seen smoking a thick cigar produced by his company.[18][2] His clothing style is meant to convey the image of an Italian mafia boss. In his debut in the series, he wore a white shirt (peach orange in the anime) under a bright orange vest with a pattern of black stripes running horizontally and vertically, a blue neckerchief, black suit pants, and polished black shoes with gold buckles. Mihawk has a short beard and sideburns, and is 198 cm tall. He wears ornate black and red clothing, with a crucifix-shaped pendant, which hides a small dagger, giving him the appearance of a Spanish swordsman. His attire consists of a wide-brimmed hat adorned with a large feather, and a long, open, black coat with red, flower-patterned sleeves and a necklace. His large sword has a curved black blade, and is also shaped like a crucifix, with a golden handguard decorated with red balls (which are colored blue and green in the anime), and a fist wrapped in bandages, with a particularly large bead at its tip. Additionally, he wears white pants (colored purple in the anime) held up by a decorated belt and tucked into boots that are too large compared to the size of his leg. During his stay at Kuraigana Island Castle, he wears different pants and an open white shirt with a ruffled collar. When he met Zoro outside, he had a dark cloak draped over his shoulders. His nickname comes from his strange eye color, which resembles the eyes of a hawk. 24 years ago, he had no beard and his hair was shorter, but he had sideburns.
