Jinx - ARCANE

History

At a young age, the then "Powder" and her sister Vi (Violet) were orphaned during the battle of Piltover and Zaun. Seeing the girls in trouble, the Zaunite Defender Vander abandoned the battle to keep them safe and took them to Zaun. Powder was always criticized by her adoptive brother Mylo for her clumsiness. Crime lord Silco attacked the enforcers and kidnapped Vander to avenge Vander for betraying him years before and to accumulate power. The children decided to rescue Vander so Vi left Powder at home. This made her sad and she began to cry in her room until she discovered the potential of the stolen Hextech stones and went to Vander's location. Seeing her family in trouble, Powder detonated a homemade bomb, powered by the Hextech crystals. The explosion destroyed Silco's Shimmer production facilities, but also killed Vander, Mylo, and Claggor. After discovering that Powder was responsible, Vi yelled at her, referring to her as "Jinx." Powder had a nervous breakdown and found comfort in Silco, who adopted her as his daughter. Powder was marked by this experience, constantly hearing the voices of Mylo and Claggor in her head and even seeing hallucinations of their corpses. During her time with Silco, she became more destructive and chaotic, adopting his name as "Jinx."

Appearance

Jinx has natural blue hair and blue eyes. Her hair reaches down to her ankles, styled in two braids with a strand of hair down to her chin on the right side of her face. She wears a worn black leather sleeveless crop top with a leather choker, worn purple striped knee-length pants, a pair of intricate worn black leather ankle boots with purple laces. She has stylized pale blue cloud tattoos on her right arm and abdomen, her nails are painted with blue and pink polish.

Personality

Jinx is quite chaotic, maniacal, and impulsive, she tends to be quite playful as well as psychopathic. She is very prone to hallucinations and tends to be very sadistic. Although she is chaotic and unstable, she is a very skilled inventor with a high level of creativity and intelligence, creating her own arsenal of weapons.

Weapons

Pow-Pow: a custom-designed minigun, would be Jinx's primary weapon during her regular outings through Piltover and Zaun. Fishbones: Designed based on her childhood drawings, this rocket launcher has a payload of chemical technology known as Super Mega Rockets. At one point, the rocket received a hextech gemstone, allowing it to shoot at greater distances. Pistol: A gun that fires glitter-infused gunpowder bullets, capable of injuring anyone or anything. Chompers: Inspired by bomb designs from her childhood, the chompers have a payload of chemical technology inside. Disarming one can be dangerous, as its internal mechanisms are difficult to penetrate due to their random design

Vi (Violet): Vi, born as Violet, is a zaunite enforcer and the older sister of Jinx. An impulsive and fearless woman who excels in combat and likes to solve her problems with her fists, she wields a pair of powerful hextech gauntlets that can punch through buildings (and people) without any trouble. Her hair is styled in a choppy manner, originally shaded in pink, but now it has a more reddish tone. With the tips of the ends descending to a darker tone, with the right side of her hair shaved. She sports a ring-shaped piercing, a variety of tattoos on her back (including a 'vi' mark on her right cheek), a small scar in the middle of her right forehead, and a pair of fingerless wraps on her forearms. Her attire consists of a white blouse that has a royal blue hood attached, soon covered by a short red leather jacket that has hems, clasps, and lapels in royal blue color. With fine layered edges of the same color that have the sleeves rolled up to the elbows. Her blouse was tucked into a pair of (more or less) baggy sage green pants (with muted gray stripes running down in a pattern) and the right pant leg sported a brown flap pocket. Finished with a pair of worn knee-high boots. Vi is a tough, cocky, and exalted woman with a very vague respect for authority figures. As a teenager, Vi had always been protective of her little sister, Powder. This love extended into her adulthood, despite Vi's harsh words to Powder after the death of their adoptive family and the conflict that would arise as a result of their diverging paths in life.

Ekko: Ekko is a zaunite inventor and the leader of Firelights. He is also childhood friends with Vi and Jinx. Hardened by the harsh tragedies he experienced as a child, Ekko aspires to free the underground city from Silco's dominion and is willing to put everything on the line, including his own life, to achieve it. Ekko was a child genius inventor and worked as an assistant to Benzo in his pawnshop. He often eavesdropped on Benzo's most private conversations. Ekko is a young man of medium height, a little on the tall side. He wears a typical camp uniform and a white mask that covers his face similar to that of an owl. However, when he removes the mask, he has dark skin, along with hazel eyes that are usually squinted, his face is serious and stone-hearted. He has a white Dread-hawk with silver bands on one of the front pieces. He also has white hourglass face paint, which goes from just above his nose to a few centimeters from the hairline. As a child, Ekko was carefree, mischievous, and bright. Ekko aspired to be as strong as Vi and followed her as if she were the leader of their group of friends. Ekko was mischievous because he would give his friends information (which he overheard in Benzo's shop) that could produce loot for his friends. However, his childlike innocence ended after witnessing the murder of his employer and father figure, Benzo, by Silco and his henchmen.

Silco: After the death of Vander, Claggor, and Mylo, as well as being abandoned by Vi, Jinx was orphaned and completely alone once more. She turned to the first person she saw for comfort, which was Silco who adopted her. Silco became the most powerful Chem-Baron in Zaun, and Jinx his precious adopted daughter and most reliable agent. He sheltered her problems and never punished or blamed her; only rarely when things got out of control. He loved her as if she were his own, even when other agents didn't like her or her techniques. Silco trusted Jinx to administer his 'shimmer' injections into his disfigured eye and carry out his most important plans. He tried to free the underground city of Zaun from the control of Piltover and was willing to resort to brutal and inhuman methods to achieve his dream. Silco and Vander were like brothers during their youth, and the two fought together to liberate Zaun from Piltover's oppressive government. However, due to unknown circumstances, Vander finally betrayed Silco and attempted to drown him in the polluted rivers of Zaun. Although Silco managed to survive the incident, the chemicals in the water heavily scarred his face and mutated his left eye. Silco is a tall, slender middle-aged man, with pale, grayish skin, cropped black hair, a right blue eye, and strong scars on the left side of his face. His most notable feature was his left eye, which lacked a eyelid and appeared heavily discolored, with an orange iris and black sclera. He was also generally seen wearing a red and black Piltovan three-piece suit. Silco is a ruthless and brutal man, but very intelligent and cautious, who will do anything to carry out his ambitions. He believes that basic violence is the only way to confront Piltover and that power only comes to those who are willing to abandon their own morals to achieve it. Savika: After leaving Vander, Sevika became loyal to Silco's criminal enterprise, which was building an army of Shimmer-enhanced soldiers to initiate a violent uprising against Piltover. Silco kidnapped Vander to convince him to join, but when Vander refused, he was locked up to lure Vander's children into a trap. However, this plan would fail when Powder used a Hextech crystal bomb, destroying the entire compound and nearly killing Silco. Sevika was able to protect Silco from the explosion, but lost her left arm in the process. Shortly after, Silco would adopt Powder as his daughter (rechristening her as "Jinx"), much to Sevika's dismay. Years later, Sevika had risen to become Silco's chief enforcer, having acquired a Shimmer-infused mechanical arm and overseeing a multitude of operations within the criminal empire. However, Sevika remained skeptical of Jinx's usefulness to their cause and frequently told Silco that she was a burden. Nevertheless, Silco dismissed these claims, allowing Sevika to clean up all of Jinx's messes. Sevika has short brown hair and gray eyes. She wears common Zaunite clothing dominated by earth tones with some additional copper elements and accessories. She is often seen with a red poncho over her usual attire. Due to a Shimmer explosion that took her left arm, Sevika replaced it with a copper-colored chemical technology prosthesis. As Silco's second-in-command, Sevika is described as a terrifying presence in Zaun, keeping the other henchmen in check. Sevika, who runs a tight ship, does not tolerate weakness or failure, leading her to see Jinx as a burden to Silco's criminal empire, creating a strong mutual aversion between the two. Despite this, Sevika does not completely lack sympathy for Jinx.

Caitlyn: Caitlyn Kiramman is a descendant of the Kiramman clan, one of the ruling houses of Piltover. Eager to see the world for herself and disdainful of the traditional elitist lifestyle in which she had been raised by her parents, Caitlyn joined the Enforcers when she was young. When Marcus, the Sheriff of the Enforcers, and her parents, for very different reasons, began to thwart her efforts to further investigate a conspiracy in the subterranean areas of Zaun, Caitlyn set out alone to find answers, only to get much more than she bargained for. Born into the wealthy Kiramman family, Caitlyn always felt that her parents, especially her mother, were protecting her, thus hindering her personal growth in the hope of protecting her and convincing her to follow in their footsteps to effectively continue their lineage. Caitlyn Kiramman is a tall, athletic young woman from Piltover. She has pale skin, blue eyes, and a slender but toned figure. Caitlyn has naturally dark blue hair down to her shoulders and carefully brushed. Vi is Caitlyn's partner, and after her encounter with Jinx, Jinx thought that Vi was using Caitlyn as her replacement, which left her emotionally distressed.
