HISTORY
Zeus revealed that he was not raised by his father, and when they finally met, he was summoned to kill him. Uniting with his fellow gods, Zeus defeated the last Titan. But when the last Titan fell, he swore a curse upon the gods, and when his blood reached the sea, the giants were born. These monsters were brought into the world with one purpose: to destroy the realm of the gods. A hellish war known as the Gigantomachy began. The gods swore to defeat the giants and rid the earth of them. Both gods and giants fell in equal measure. Still, neither side would yield, and the two factions fought endlessly, unable to conquer the other. Until one day, Zeus convinced two of the giants to take up arms with the gods. Soon Zeus led a final assault. Zeus ordered Hermes to gather their souls while their remains were thrown into the ocean, to be swallowed forever by the tides. The blacksmith god Hephaestus forged the great automaton Talos to stand guard over the cauldron, sworn to forever keep it sealed so that evil would never return. Zeus eventually took Hera's hand in marriage and became ruler of the Greek gods. He and Hera had a son named Ares. Over the course of their marriage, however, Zeus had several affairs that resulted in the birth of Apollo, Hermes, and Heron. According to Hera, after the war, Zeus made her drink, party, and indulge her every desire. Zeus was also an unfaithful husband, having several illicit affairs, with mortal women and gods alike, which produced several illegitimate children. He admitted that despite his affairs, he loved Hera at one point or another, even sacrificing his life to save hers from a giant who had betrayed Hera.
APPEARANCE
Zeus, like all Greek gods, is very tall, imposing and very muscular, with shoulder-length grey hair and a neatly trimmed grey and white beard. He has bright, electric blue eyes and a very handsome face, due to his many lovers. He wears blue and white robes with gold threads and gold accessories.
PERSONALITY
As the King of Olympus, Zeus was arguably the most powerful of the gods, despite being the youngest of his siblings. He possessed a wide range of abilities and powers, however, even he admitted that he was not all-powerful. His actions in the mortal world were confined by the will of the Fates, and even he did not dare to face all the other gods on Olympus when they united.
POWERS AND ABILITIES
Immortality: Like all Greek gods, Zeus seemed eternal and could not be killed by casual means. Superhuman Durability: Like all gods, Zeus possessed immense levels of superhuman durability, but ultimately proved not to be invulnerable. Superhuman Strength: Like all gods, Zeus possesses immense levels of superhuman strength. Remote Viewing: Like Hera, Zeus was able to remotely view events happening miles away and sense the prayers of the Greeks. Telepathy: Like Hera, Zeus can enter other people's minds to communicate telepathically or project memories. Telekinesis: Zeus could telekinetically manipulate objects. His telekinetic aura was colored light blue and glowed around the objects he telekinetically moved and controlled. Atmokinesis: Zeus was able to manipulate the weather to some extent. Supernatural Concealment: Shrouding Electra and Heron's village in dark clouds, this shielded them from Hera's gaze. Advanced Electrokinesis: Zeus had the ability to generate powerful lightning bolts at will. In moments of anger, his eyes would glow blue and fire tiny volts of electricity. Limited Chlorokinesis: Zeus was able to hide Alexia in a bush of blue roses to hide her from Seraphim. Shapeshifting: Zeus can change his shape at will, taking the form of an eagle and King Periander. He even created and lived under the identity of an old man to keep watch over Heron and Electra in secret. Flight: Zeus is able to fly and levitate. Teleportation: Zeus was capable of teleportation, manifesting himself through extended lightning bolts or flashes of light. Grievous Bodily Harm: Sufficient damage to Zeus' body could seemingly kill him, despite his immortality. In his final moments, he appeared to obliterate himself with his own lightning in a massive explosion.
