Foster Zack

Appearance:

Zack is a tall guy who wears a brown zip-up hoodie stained with blood, red pants, and black combat boots. His entire body is covered in bandages, which hide his burnt skin. He has short black hair and anisocoria, a condition in which his eyes are unevenly widened, and heterochromia, with his left eye being light brown and his right eye being light orange. His primary weapon is a large scythe. He also wields a combat knife, which was his primary weapon before being sent to Floor B6. As a child, Zach's hair was much messier and he wore a dirty short-sleeved shirt and short pants. Before the burn, he had a light skin tone, but his current skin tone under the bandages is light brown due to the wounds from the injury he sustained.

Nature

Zack is impulsive and violent. He is chaotic, quick to anger, and has no qualms about using foul language in any situation. When he feels the urge to kill, he becomes insane and uncontrollably violent. He has difficulty containing his murderous urges. Zack has come to terms with being considered a monster due to his appearance and violent tendencies. While he has no problem killing and destroying people, he views dishonesty as immoral, often stating that he hates lying. Zach calls himself unintelligent, but in reality, he is simply uneducated. His rough upbringing has given him impressive instincts and strength, making him stronger at surviving. However, despite any common sense he may have, he often acts impulsively before he has a chance to think things through. As a child, Zach was much calmer and more reserved due to the abuse he suffered, and obediently followed what his caregivers told him. After he could no longer tolerate the abuse, he killed them, inspired by a horror movie he watched, Zach developed an impulse to kill, especially people who are happy, as he believes that they are the ones responsible for making him act. Since most of the people he knew in his life treated him terribly, kindness seemed foreign to him, causing Zach to become confused and annoyed whenever someone showed him kindness.

History:

Zach's full name is Isaac Foster. He was born into a poor and abusive family, as he never received any education, and as a result, he could neither read nor write. When he was still a child, his mother's lover set him on fire in an attempt to kill him, but he survived. Shortly after, his mother wrapped him in cloth and then left him in the care of a pair of orphanage caregivers for money. From then on, he stayed in a run-down orphanage where children were at risk of dying and human trafficking was illegal. His caretakers were quite cruel, even "forgetting" to give the children food for days, forcing Zach to scavenge for food to survive. They always called him a monster because of his burns, even forcing him to bury the corpse of a dead child (it was implied that he had buried others before) simply because they didn't want to deal with the smell. Zach himself, despite his reluctance, did as he was told without question. That is until one of the caretakers left the television on to show a violent horror film. Zach took inspiration from this, seeing it as a way to solve his problems, and killed his caretakers by stabbing them repeatedly before mutilating their bodies and then burying them in the back of the shelter.

After disappearing from the shelter, Zach wandered the streets and killed a woman for the third time when she accidentally splashed him with her car. Zach rested in her car that night and was found the next morning by a blind old man. Because the old man was blind, he did not flinch when Zach held him at knifepoint. Fainting from exhaustion, Zach woke up in the old man's house, who took him in and then offered him bread. Although Zach was suspicious of the old man's hospitality, he ate the bread anyway since he had not eaten in days and decided to stay with the old man because he had no place to stay. Since staying with the old man, Zach spent most of his time sleeping or wandering around. Despite living together, Zach barely spoke to the old man. Zach found his new days free, without having to think, and eating bread given to him by the old man, who had chosen it especially for him. However, as time went on, Zach became confused by the kindness of the old man, who, unlike the adults he knew, saw him only as a tool. This caused a tremor that bothered him, and Zach believed that the only way to suppress it was to continue his killing spree. He considered killing the old man, but decided that it would be pointless if the old man remained expressionless, so he went outside instead and killed a drunk. When he returned, Zach confessed his crime to the blind man, thinking that the old man would be afraid of him. To his surprise and confusion, the old man acted calmly.

The next day, the old man used the money he had saved to buy better bread for Zach, while he was determined to take care of Zach from then on, thinking that his life would finally have meaning by taking care of the boy. Unfortunately, on his way back, he ran into a pair of thugs who killed him for his wallet. When the old man did not return, Zach became upset and began breaking the furniture in the house, thinking that the old man had abandoned him. By chance, he found a combat knife, and unable to contain his urge to kill any longer, Zach went out to kill. He passed by the same thugs who claimed to have killed the old man by breaking the cane the old man usually carried. Seeing their happy faces, which reminded him of the movie, Zach killed them with his new knife. As he repeatedly stabbed them, Zack came to the conclusion that he only gained satisfaction by killing people who were laughing happily and filling them with despair, believing that these people were the ones who created the monsters. Recognizing that he himself had become a monster, Zack decided to continue his killing spree. Over the years, his recent murders have become quite famous, making him a currently wanted serial killer and criminal. He was eventually found by Reverend Abraham Gray, who offered Zack a place to stay in an abandoned building he had prepared as the owner of Floor B6. Since Gray said he was allowed to kill anyone who entered his floor without having to deal with the police, Zack accepted the offer, oblivious to the details of Gray's experiment.
