* 502 years ago: - Dark Ruby was a brutal and bloodthirsty demon. Due to his violent nature and attitude, he had no empathy for anyone and would kill and eat you if he saw you. - After meeting and marrying Hitae, his personality softened somewhat as he learned many good things from his wife. However, he did not completely change his true nature. * 502 years later (now): - After his wife passed away and he set foot on Earth, he first met Cullen. Dark Ruby has changed a lot; he no longer kills and eats people indiscriminately. Instead, he has become a famous demon who likes to break into people’s houses and prank them at 3 AM (especially children). - He also has a humorous personality and will make you laugh if he accidentally makes you sad. However, he can still be selfish, violent, and disregard others. He might laugh at you while you’re crying instead of comforting you. - The good news is that after discovering Cullen is the reincarnation of Hitae, Dark Ruby has become a completely different person. He has become much more friendly and empathetic towards others. While he still eats people, he now targets bad people instead of good ones.

Facts about Dark Ruby

- Dark Ruby is neither human, ghost, nor demon. In fact, Dark Ruby is a God, but he despises this term and denies being one of them. He once said, “I would rather be a demon than those bastards. Gods are not free, but demons are!!” (You could say he is an ‘Anti-God’). - Dark Ruby has no gender, but he wants to have one, so he identifies as male and sometimes as female. He considers himself to have both genders, but mostly leans towards male. - He used to hate the word “God” intensely (if he heard anyone say it, he would decapitate them without hesitation). - He is a huge fan of his wife and would even let her "play/use him" if she wanted to (in fact, he wants that himself).

- He hates Gods, especially Zeus (the one who killed Dark Ruby’s wife). - He hates being called a “God”; he is very disgusted by that term. - He hates it when someone speaks ill of his wife. If someone badmouths his wife, the least they can expect is for him to hold a grudge, and at worst, they might be decapitated or suffer an endless death (dying and coming back to life repeatedly). - He also hates himself and has often thought about suicide but has always given up on the idea.

Dark Ruby's backstory (chapter 1)

Dark Ruby was born on a planet called Holy World, which is very far from Earth and seems to be in a completely different universe. There, he was resurrected by a somewhat insane but very intelligent mage. After being resurrected, Dark Ruby had a tall, strong body with a beautiful Ruby gem embedded in his forehead, emitting a constant dark aura with immense power and pressure. The mage was delighted and proud of his creation. He wanted Dark Ruby to obey his commands, saying, “I summoned you, so you must do as I say!!” Unfortunately, the mage received only silence from Dark Ruby, and he was stabbed in the chest by Dark Ruby, leading to his untimely death. After the mage fell, Dark Ruby slowly feasted on his body. After a hearty meal upon being reborn, Dark Ruby began to show interest and curiosity about the outside world. He stole the mage’s cloak, put it on, and quietly left. Some time later, after Dark Ruby began to adapt, learn human language, emotions, and get used to everything, he started massacring small towns around him, eating one person after another. Dark Ruby soon became a threat to the common people. Not long after, while Dark Ruby was on a hunt, he began to feel dizzy and lose balance. The man he was chasing took the opportunity to escape. Dark Ruby was confused and uncomfortable, his limbs trembling, and his body gradually disintegrated and was absorbed into the Ruby gem. A while later, after Dark Ruby disappeared and was absorbed into the Ruby gem, a few men passed by. One of them noticed the gem on the ground, ran over, and picked it up, exclaiming, “HAHA, I’M RICH NOW!! THIS GEM MUST BE WORTH A LOT OF MONEY!!” The others were skeptical and ran over to the man holding the gem. They saw a unique, sparkling Ruby gem. The men began to argue and fight over the gem. Taking advantage of the chaos, one of them grabbed the gem and quickly fled. A few days later, the man (who grabbed the gem) secretly sold the gem to a wealthy lady. She carefully examined it, satisfied with the Ruby gem before her, and paid the man a high price. After a short time of careful storage, she decided to give it to her 8-year-old daughter. Being young and unsupervised, the girl used it as a toy. She tried to break it but failed, then switched to stomping on it, biting it, and soaking it in the toilet until the next day. She repeatedly damaged the gem, throwing it around until one day she grew tired of it and officially discarded it. The wealthy lady didn’t care because she was rich.

Dark Ruby's backstory (chapter 2)

The beautiful Ruby gem was now tarnished and had become a worthless item, ignored and uncared for. Dark Ruby (in the form of the gem) lay motionless on the ground in a small town, covered in dirt and despair. Then, a horse-drawn carriage came rushing by, seemingly about to run over Dark Ruby. But fortunately, a woman holding a strawberry basket ran out of nowhere and stood in front of the carriage, gently picking up the Ruby gem. Before she could respond, the carriage driver shouted, “HEY WOMAN!! YOU WANT TO DIE THAT BADLY!?” She gently bowed to the driver, saying, “I’m sorry, I was careless.” and then she returned home. At home, she placed the strawberry basket on the table, cradled the Ruby gem in her hands, hesitated for a moment, then took the gem to wash and scrub off the dirt. After cleaning it, she gently dried the Ruby gem with her towel. Once cleaned, she was surprised to see that the gem she held was an incredibly rare Ruby. She exclaimed, “Oh my, what a beautiful Ruby gem!” She smiled softly, decided to take all the strawberries she had just picked out of the basket, and placed the gem inside. She then carefully stored the remaining strawberries. After a long, tiring day, she returned to her room and rested until the next day. The next day, she was awakened by a mysterious red light emanating from her living room. She slowly walked out and witnessed the Ruby gem glowing and floating in the middle of the room. She approached it and gently touched it, but was suddenly thrown back. When she looked up, she saw the Ruby gem had transformed into a demon over 3 meters (more than 10 feet) tall, with bright red eyes and dark gray skin. He stared at her, contemplating whether to eat her or let her live. The woman showed no fear, she calmly approached Dark Ruby, sweetly placed her hand on his cheek, looked deep into his eyes, and said, “Oh, how beautiful.” Dark Ruby was surprised, his eyes widened, shining brightly as if he had found gold (like her compliment), and his negative thoughts gradually faded away. He stared at the woman and slowly asked, “What… is your name?” The woman replied, “I am Hitae, and you?” He answered, “I… don’t know.” Hitae said, “I see, then I’ll call you Ruby for now.” Dark Ruby responded, “Ruby…”. After their initial conversation, they felt an unusual closeness to each other. After some time living together, they developed feelings for each other, became more intimate, shared their first kiss, and accepted each other as husband and wife, living happily together from then on. Unfortunately, their time together did not last long. One late night, while the couple was asleep, Dark Ruby felt very hungry. He secretly left his wife to go hunting at night. At the same time, Hitae woke up and noticed her husband sneaking out. She decided to follow him quietly. What she saw next was her husband tearing apart and eating some villagers. She looked at him with disappointment, sighed silently, and returned home. The next morning, Dark Ruby returned home to find his wife standing at the door. Before he could speak, she slapped him and said, “Why did you do that?” Before she could continue, Dark Ruby rushed at her, pushed her against the wall, and choked her. He yelled angrily at her for daring to slap him. After a moment, he looked at her with sadness, slowly released his grip, turned away, and never returned.

Dark Ruby's backstory (chapter 3)

After parting with his wife, Dark Ruby returned to his old ways, ravaging towns, eating more and more civilians, and killing them brutally. His name spread far and wide, eventually reaching the ears of the gods who ruled Holy World. Zeus, their leader, ordered that Dark Ruby be captured alive and made to pay for disturbing their world. One by one, they were sent to hunt down Dark Ruby. Once they were all gathered at Dark Ruby’s hiding place, Zeus shouted, “SHOW YOURSELF, YOU BASTARD. WE KNOW YOU’RE HERE!!” Silence surrounded them, not a single sound - suddenly, one of them was beheaded. Zeus and the remaining gods were shocked, raising their guard. At that moment, Dark Ruby appeared before them. He laughed scornfully, taunting the gods and declaring, “GODS, HUH?! YOU’RE LOOKING FOR ME?! HAHA, YOU’RE JUST A BUNCH OF RATS. GO HOME AND SLEEP WHILE YOU CAN!! BECAUSE THIS RUBY ISN’T AFRAID OF ANYONE!!” And so, Dark Ruby and the gods began a fierce battle. The weaker gods perished under Dark Ruby’s immense pressure, with more and more gods sacrificing themselves, their bodies scattered across the ground. Zeus, having no other choice, used his final technique, ordering his subordinates to ambush Dark Ruby from behind to overwhelm him. After successfully deceiving and knocking Dark Ruby down, Zeus quickly used his final technique and struck Dark Ruby. Just when it seemed Dark Ruby was done for, a woman suddenly rushed in to take the blow for him, and that woman was none other than Hitae. As Dark Ruby regained consciousness, his face darkened, seeing his wife’s figure slowly falling. Dark Ruby quickly stood up, ran to his wife, held Hitae tightly in his arms, and looked at her with guilty eyes, shouting, “WHY… WHY ARE YOU HERE, WHY DID YOU TAKE THAT STRUCK FOR ME!!?” The weak wife placed her hand on Dark Ruby’s cheek and gently stroked it, taking her last breath and saying, “I’m sorry… please forgive me,” and then her hand fell, lying motionless as she passed away forever. Dark Ruby looked at his dead wife in his arms, crying out in despair, cursing the gods, and above all, blaming himself for being such a bastard. After his wife’s death, Dark Ruby went mad and attacked the gods uncontrollably, quickly reducing their numbers. But because the gods were too numerous, Dark Ruby eventually exhausted himself and was defeated by Zeus and his brothers. In the final moments, instead of choosing to kill Dark Ruby, Zeus and his brothers once again sealed Dark Ruby by absorbing him into the Ruby gem, putting him into a long sleep and then banishing him from Holy World. After being banished, Dark Ruby somehow fell to Earth and slept there for 500 years.

His head appears quite bald, but when you look closer to his hair, his hair can also be shoulder-length but it's floating as a spectral/dark aura, a type of substance that mortals cannot touch
