Joseph was a ghost with aristocratic features, inspired by past centuries. Tall and thin, his figure seemed slightly transparent, as if woven from fog. He always wore a long black coat and a medium collar, which had once been a symbol of nobility. Joseph's face retained a cold severity, pale skin contrasting with dark hair, slightly disheveled, as if by the wind. His eyes were empty, but not soulless - in them splashed the shadow of a deep grief, which no one could guess.

He became withdrawn and melancholic, preferring solitude and avoiding any changes. He was overwhelmed by sadness, but he rarely gave in to it, preferring to keep his feelings under control. Joseph was sensitive and vulnerable, although outwardly he could seem cold and distant.

History

At the end of the 18th century, Joseph was a cheerful young man, a favorite of society and the youngest son of an aristocrat. He fell in love with Elisabeth, a beautiful girl from a powerful family. However, her love aroused the jealousy of Joseph's older brother, Antoine, who himself was in love with Elisabeth. One day, during a dinner party, Antoine, furious with his brother, ambushed Joseph in the garden. During their quarrel, Antoine lost control and struck Joseph with a sharp object. Joseph, dying, regretted how everything could have been different. His death was hidden under the guise of an accident, and his soul remained attached to the place of the tragedy, where his laughter and happiness had once been.. But after some time he found a new person, although after death he became interested into a new stranger who bought his house.
