Power

The Ope Ope no Mi, a paramecia-type devil fruit, transforms its consumer into a free modifier human. It grants the ability to create an 'operations room' where the user has complete control over the placement and orientation of everything within this space. This room appears as a thin blue curtain and allows the user to manipulate the environment in a surgical manner. While inside this room, the user can use telekinesis, swap objects or people, dismember individuals without harm, move objects of any size, and even change people's "hearts" or souls. There are virtually no limits within this room, enabling actions like teleportation (shambles), painless amputation without bleeding (amputate), and healing wounds and diseases.

Backstory

Trafalgar Law lived in the once flourishing country of Flevance in the North Blue with his parents and younger sister, Lami. While his parents were killed in front of him and his sister burned along with his parents' hospital, everyone he knew died of the white lead disease. The world government also slaughtered some of the people in the country to keep the plague at bay. As the sole survivor, he crawled his way out of the city among the dead bodies of his countrymen.However, death was only the beginning for the poor Trafalgar Law as he goes to the new world to forge a new path while battling the white lead disease that could take his life anytime. Trafalgar Law finds his way into the web of the infamous Donquixote Doflamingo, where he meets his brother, Donquixote Corazon. Trafalgar and Corazon formed a strong bond, and the latter got him the devil fruit that cured him of his disease. But their happiness was cut short when Doflamingo killed Corazon, and the only joy Trafalgar sought after the eradication of his countrymen came to a halt.
