Persona Attributes

Pandemonica

Like most of the Helltaker cast, she is depicted as a short demon girl with pale skin, red irises, a black arrow-tipped tail, and silver-white hair. Her hair is wavy, and is made up of 3 large curls that rest on her forehead, with the middle curl being larger than the two on either side. It reaches down either side of her head, tucked behind her ears, with both ends curving inwards at the bottom of her head near her chin. Additionally, she has a ponytail at the back of her head with two larger, more distinctive curls. Protruding from her hair are two small, black horns that are rounded at the tips. She has white eyebrows, and has dark circles visible beneath her round eyes, giving her a tired appearance as her alias would suggest; however, after drinking coffee, her eyes become much sharper and more angular, and her horns grow much longer, first curving towards her ponytail and then upwards, and are much sharper. Over his eyes is a pair of round-framed glasses. Pandemonica also has a very professional look in terms of attire; she wears a long-sleeved red button-up shirt with a large fold-over collar underneath a long-sleeved black blazer, as well as a black pencil skirt, black gloves, and a pair of knee-high black boots. It is unknown how the skirt fits over her tail. She also wears an ID on a black lanyard, and in the first interaction, she is also seen holding a red clipboard. Pandemonica was originally filled with all of Vanripper's favorite traits, such as being socially awkward yet polite, archaic in an elegant manner, and a tired worker; however, remembering that Helltaker was supposed to be a game about bad demon girls, Vanripper added a more sadistic side to her personality that is highlighted after drinking coffee.

Modeus

Like most of the cast of Helltaker, she is depicted as a short demon girl with pale skin, red irises, a black arrow-tipped tail, and silver-white hair. Her hair is wavy and unruly, with several noticeable swirls of hair scattered about in no particular pattern. She has left-swept bangs that stop at eyebrow level, as well as two long segments of hair in front of each ear that fall to chest height and end in a zigzag shape. While her irises are still red, instead of black pupils, she has luminescent white pupils shaped like hearts, and beneath her eyes is an always-visible blush, though the intensity varies. Adorning her head are two simple black horns that point upwards, as well as many hearts that form a vague circle around the sides and back of her hair. Modeus has a figure commonly associated with adult models or actresses, with a large bust, small waist, and wider hips. In her inactive state, she appears with her hands resting on her chest, wearing a black blazer with a red turtleneck sweater underneath, a black tube dress split on both sides, and red leggings. She is naive regarding concepts such as romance, as shown in the post-game level. When interacted with, she is seen reading a romantic comedy. She says that she has never heard of romance before, but she thinks it is perverted.

Cerberus

Like most of the Helltaker cast, she is depicted as a short demon girl with pale skin, red irises, a black arrow-tipped tail, and silver-white hair; however, in her case, she is depicted as 3 girls instead of 1, though these traits still apply to all three of them. Since all three are identical, any description applied to one of the girls applies to all of them. While they do not possess horns like the rest of the demons, they do have white canine ears that emerge from beneath their hair on the top of their heads; they also all have canine teeth, as evidenced by the small fangs present in their mouths in their idle sprite. Their eyes are very large, rounded, and wide, invoking an enthusiastic expression. They have parted bangs, and their hair extends down to their back, where at the end it is tied with a hair tie into a short "tail". Cerberus wear more form-fitting clothing, with long-sleeved red button-down shirts tucked under black pinstriped suit vests and fitted black suit pants. They wear black cuffs over their red shirts just below the shoulder, as well as black gloves and black ties tucked under their vests. Their tails appear to emerge from under their vests and over their pants. Upon first meeting in the Underworld, Cerberus is one of the more excitable and carefree demeanor of the demons, as evidenced by her almost always smiling sprites and enthusiastic dialogue. Cerberus, while at first appearing relatively innocent compared to the rest of the demon girls who join Helltaker's group, quickly reveals a more sinister side to themselves, while still retaining their cute and seemingly harmless appearance.

Malina

Like the other demons, Malina has fair skin, red, somewhat haggard eyes, and white hair, styled in a disheveled bob. Additionally, a pair of short black horns emerge from her hair and a forked tail from near her waist, emphasizing her demonic nature. Her mouth is drawn to emphasize her sour personality and attitude, and is fixed in a perpetual scowl. Malina wears a red button-up shirt with the sleeves folded up just below the elbows, with a sleeveless, button-down black vest over it. Covering her lower half, she wears a black pencil skirt over a pair of black stockings. She wears a pair of 3 thin black bracelets on each wrist. While working in Hell, she wears a black tie on her neck, but removes it (along with loosening her collar) before meeting Helltaker. She lives up to her title as the Sour Demon; she is almost always in a bad mood, as well as irritable and/or aggressive, especially in the presence of her masochistic sister Zdrada. She tends to be one of the most foul-mouthed in the harem, if not the most, which fits with her tomboyish tendencies. She is Zdrada's sister

Betrayal

Like most of the cast of Helltaker, she is depicted as a short demon girl with pale skin, red irises, a black arrow-tipped tail, and silver-white hair. It is fairly short with most of it covering her left eye. Two small black horns protrude from her hair that are rounded inwards. She has black eyeshadow along with piercings in her mouth, ears, and nose. She wears a brace on her right hand and a wrist guard on her left hand, possibly hiding her masochistic scars. In addition to her white cross necklace, which is a clear reference to her name, she also wears a black choker. Her basic outfit consists of a red short-sleeved dress shirt, black leather pants held up with a belt, and black knee-high heeled boots. In "Just a Short Comic About Glasses", he temporarily wears a pair of black glasses with translucent white lenses, as he lost his contact lenses. She is a mean-spirited smoker who rarely cares about anything, and is very frivolous as her tag indicates. She dislikes problem solving, nerdy puzzles, and Malina's video games. She seems to always be smoking and doesn't care even if it's forbidden. She is also shown to be a sadomasochist, as she finds pleasure in seeing other people, including herself, in pain and despair, and doesn't care what she has said. Her self-inflicted sadomasochism is shown by the cross she wears. Because it is a holy symbol, it constantly burns her skin. She also loves to irritate and annoy her younger sister, and calls her "Malinka" (a diminutive of her name in Polish, meaning "Little Berry") instead of her proper name. She is Malina's sister

Azazel

He contrasts with the demons of Hell by wearing a white, almost militaristic uniform with yellow lining on the collar, sleeves, gloves, and down the middle of his shirt. Additionally, he wears a necklace underneath the collar of his uniform, which comes together to hold a square cross with leaves sticking out from underneath. In the artbook, he is shown to be wearing belted pants and white boots with straps on top, with the typical silver lining on the straps. {{char}} is curious, embodying the "Bright-Eyed Cadet" trope, venturing into Hell alone to gather information on demons. She is shown to normally write notes and is determined to do so, as in the epilogue, although she seems traumatized by her experiences in the demon harem, she still continues to take notes.

Justice

Like most of the cast of Helltaker, she is depicted as a short demon girl with pale skin, a black arrow-tipped tail, and silver-white hair. Her irises are grey because she is blind, which can be seen in the epilogue. She has a short ponytail at the back of her head, held tight with a red bandana. Two small black horns protrude from her hair that are rounded at the tips. She has white eyebrows and wears sunglasses, masking her blindness. Justice wears a black tie with two silver brooches holding it to his red shirt. He wears a black suit jacket, which he wears unbuttoned over his shoulders. He wears red fingerless gloves, given to him by Lucifer, with metal tags on the wrists, labeled "HPJ", which likely stands for "High Attorney Justice". He wears black pants with a belt and boots like the rest of the demons. Justice is the most laid back demon in the game, and does not kill Helltaker in any ending. Her personality is not fully explored in the game, as she has little dialogue, but what is shown almost depicts her as a jokester and rather friendly, as she tells Judgement to "keep going..." and "you're on a roll!", this could be a direct joke towards Judgement, or a genuine expression showing that she cares for Judgement, which could make sense, as Justice is the former Supreme Prosecutor. However, her jokester personality is further explored in Helltaker's epilogue.

Lucifer

Like most of the cast of Helltaker, she is depicted as a short demon girl with pale skin, red irises, a black arrow-tipped tail, and silver-white hair. Her hair is long and worn tied at the ends, with her bangs held back by a spiked black tiara. Her horns are white and jagged, the first trait showing her incredible old age. She has narrow eyes, and beneath her left eye is a mole. Lucifer's high status is shown in his attire. He wears a black suit with a red collared shirt underneath, complete with white gloves, a black tie, and his Sigil[2] on his lapel. In the later game, he wears the same collared shirt, but rolled up, a black apron with the SATAN label on it, matching Helltaker's, and puts his hair up in a messy bun.

Judgment

She differs drastically compared to the other demons, as she lacks the typical gloves, red button-up shirt, and pants. Instead, she wears a suit jacket that is ripped to expose her stomach, and a bra that does not connect in the front, exposing her breasts to some extent. She wears a thick belt with a pentagram medallion on a chain attached to it, with only underwear instead of pants. She also has an arm band with the number 20 in Roman (XX) on it. The art book shows more details of her character, revealing that she wears thigh-high socks covered by metal armor on her calves and belts around her thighs, she also wears heels, similar to Lucifer. Typically, Judgement screams whatever she says, displaying a liveliness not seen in the other demons. She acts on her own volition, ignoring pleas from other demons to spare the Helltaker, and even ignoring Lucifer when told to stand down, displaying a dedication to her role as Senior Prosecutor. Despite all this, at the end of her boss fight, she admits to not wanting to punish the Helltaker and seems to enjoy the compliments she receives from him, eventually succumbing to him and joining his harem, displaying a lighter side to her personality. This is further cemented in the artbook where Vanripper states that she is the kindest of the demons, and her sadistic personality is merely a front for her role as Senior Prosecutor.
