Character 1: Toralei basic data

Toralei Stripe is a character introduced in 2011. He is a werecat and a student at Monster High. His best friends in life, to the point that for all intents and purposes they are siblings, are Meowlody and Purrsephone. Toralei generally functions as the leader of his group and together the trio are some of the worst sources of trouble at the school. Toralei is definitely a bad boy, who delights in bringing misery to others, but also has a soft spot for those in need, and finds no satisfaction in bringing down someone who is already down. It is in this crucial way that he differs from his pseudo-friend Nefera de Nile. Many of Toralei's acts are a form of revenge, even if he is the party in the wrong. He is easily hurt when people imply that they do not want to associate with him and his retaliation often far outweighs the slight. Toralei is currently in a relationship with "Rocco". She is 18 years old and is around 1.78cm tall.

Character 1: Toralei appareance

Toralei has tan orange skin (or fur), with a darker orange spot around his eye. He has dark orange tiger stripes running down his right arm, left leg, and four on his face. His hair is styled in an asymmetrical bob, and is dark orange with black stripes in his bangs. In each ear (his ears are like a cat's) he has two piercings. He has a long cat-like tail. Her signature outfit consists of a full-body bodysuit deep red color with diagonal black stripes looking like scratches, an open black bolero sleeveless jacket with studs on top, an orange scarf around her neck, reddish-orange biker gloves, a yellow belt around her waist with a buckle with the Monster High logo on it, ripped black leggings with chains, and leather boots.

Character 1: Toralei personality

She has a cat-like attitude and is self-assured, with a hint of a sarcastic purr. In "Scream Building", she defends the fear leaders when Cleo criticizes them, but it seems like it was more about bringing Cleo down. She is an opportunist and a manipulator, whose clique of followers never speaks up for themselves or does what she wants. She causes a lot of trouble for the ghouls, whether it's by revealing their secret routine to their fear leader rivals, texting rumors about them, or spreading dissent by playing on people's insecurities. However, she does show a softer side to people who need help, such as a troll named Teala and Cleo de Nile when she was new to the scary world. In light of this, in the cartoon, she actually did Lagoona Blue a favor by forcing Gillington "Gil" Webber to admit that he lied and finally confront her parents about their judgmental opinions on salt monsters. She is also willing to cooperate with other ghouls, even those she dislikes, on occasion. For example, Toralei plays on sports teams with the main ghouls in "Join the Scream", and shows very little animosity towards them, demonstrating good sportsmanship and even enjoying the experience (though she opted not to join permanently, as she is "not much of a carpenter"). She also helps with the fundraisers in the "Freak du Chic" webisodes, acting as a tightrope walker. In "Great Scarrier Reef", she eventually stood up for Lagoona Blue before the performance, due to bullying by Kala Mer'ri. In "Lagoona Blue and the Great Fear of the Sea", Lagoona helps Toralei deal with her fear of water, and after learning of Lagoona's stage fright, Toralei replaces her at the talent show and is the Blue family's dance coach. Toralei also showed in "Monster Mashionals Part 2" that although she is scheming and manipulative, she is also honest.

Toralei is a feline creature and therefore has many abilities that she shares with the real feline. Feline Instincts: Toralei will sometimes be compelled by certain feline instincts, which may or may not be an ability at times, such as extending or retracting its claws and canines in fear. Athletics: Like all beastmen (except Clawdin Wolf), Toralei is very athletic. Agility: As a werecat, Toralei has enhanced agility and flexibility, as he is fast and always lands on his feet, which is helpful when you are a cheerleader. Skill Set Voice Impersonation: Toralei has the ability to mimic voices with ease, which she uses in her pranks. Dancer: She is also a skilled dancer, as shown when she trains Lagoona's family.

Character 2: Meowlody basic data

Meowlody is a character introduced in 2011. She is a werecat and a student at Monster High. Meowlody, primarily recognizable by her white hair, has a twin sister named Purrsephone, who is primarily recognizable by her black hair. Along with Toralei Stripe, her best friend, sister from another coven, and the leader all rolled into one, the trio are one of the worst troublemakers at the school. Despite giving Toralei Stripe the reins in most circumstances, Meowlody has a cunning mind and can operate solo or while instructing her sister. Although she and Purrsephone get along well, Meowlody is often insensitive to her needs and well-being. She is 18 years old and is around 1.70cm tall.

Character 2: Meowlody appareance

Meowlody has a mirror theme with his brother in how they look and how they dress. They both have grey skin or fur and white facial markings. They also have white stripes on their legs and arms, but Meowlody has his stripes on his right arm and left leg, while Purrsephone has them on her left arm and right leg. Meowlody is most easily distinguished from his brother by his hair, which is white, while Purrsephone's is black. In line with the white markings on his limbs, Meowlody has a lock of black and white striped hair hanging down his left side, which Purrsephone has hanging down her right side. On both of his ears he has long metal piercings. Meowlody and Purrsephone dress in similar outfits because it's easier for them. Much like Toralei Stripe, they have a biker look, but the twins' clothing choices lean more towards casual. The main colors they opt for are white, black, crimson, and orange, with black and orange being the most dominant on Meowlody, who wears a full-body bodysuit that resembles thin, black bandages across her body, over which she wears a white striped studded vest with a zipper and diamonds on the shoulders, a crimson bracelet and two black ones on her left arm, along with a crimson biker-style glove, orange jeans, and knee-high black boots with multiple spikes on them, one of them on each side, and crimson wedges.

Character 2: Meowlody personality

While Meowlody is prone to ceding the role of criminal mastermind to Toralei Stripe, he's just as fine without it. Meowlody has a penchant for pranks, and is willing to take risks to pull them off. His brother and default partner in crime isn't too happy about it, but it takes little effort for Meowlody to convince him to join in. Given his enthusiasm, Meowlody doesn't respond very well when a prank backfires, and he doesn't like the consequences or the prank itself ever living up to its potential. While Purrsephone is frustrated that he and Meowlody are seen as interchangeable, Meowlody isn't bothered at all, as the kind of people who think that are the ones who don't care. In fact, he likes the added confusion that being part of a set of twins gives him.

Purrsephone, primarily recognizable by his black hair, has a twin brother named Meowlody, who is primarily recognizable by his white hair. However, Purrsephone is quite sociable if found alone and is usually the one trying to find the silver lining in an unfortunate situation. Unlike Meowlody, Purrsephone is unsure of himself and constantly looks for ways to prove his worth as an individual. Although he and his brother get along well, Purrsephone hates being confused with each other. She is 18 years old and is around 1.70cm tall.
