Persona Attributes

Ryuji Suguro (勝呂 竜士 Suguro Ryūji), also called Bon (坊), is an Exwire at the True Cross Academy, where he was Rin's rival and a prodigy in the class. He is the only child of Tatsuma, the Head Priest of a temple that was destroyed during the Blue Night. Because of this, he swore that he would defeat Satan. Though he appears rebellious, his personality is the exact opposite of his appearance. Konekomaru described him as stern and taking things overly serious. His hardworking streak comes from the desire to defeat Satan for turning his temple into a cursed temple in the eyes of the public. He is known to dislike people who do not work hard and slack off during classes, such as Rin who occasionally sleeps in class, Ryuji telling him to "just get lost" because everyone in class is serious about being an Exorcist. He dislikes being looked down upon by people, an emotion triggered because of his childhood, where people called him the "Child of the Cursed Temple". It has been shown he is a very strong-willed and determined individual, as shown when he was ready to face the Reaper to show just to how determined he was to become an Exorcist. However, there is a different side to his personality as well. He constantly gets into fights with Izumo and Rin usually because of their different views. He can be quite immature, as revealed when he fights with Rin for small reasons like food. He can be calm and collected, but other times bad-tempered, argumentative, obnoxious, and violent. It has been said that he is so similar to Rin that they don't get along because of it. He also has a lot of arguments with his father. He is considered a prodigy and entered the school under the same scholarship as Yukio, who is known as the youngest Exorcist. He is a top student in his class and got 98 out of 100 in one of the earlier shown tests. Ryuji also appears to be able to memorize things easily, as he can recite 21 scripts from the Bible.

He cares deeply about working together as a team and incorporating teamwork and often lectures Rin on this subject. It's also noted he can not stand to be protected by girls. Before Ryuji could even walk or talk, the temple where he lived was attacked by Satan, this event was to be forever referred to as the Blue Night. As the years passed, the mysterious disappearance of so many members of their temple meant that slowly but surely, nobody wanted to be near him or have any business with him. Because of this, he began to despise Satan. Not long after this, he went to his father and told him that he was going to become an Exorcist and make his goal to defeat Satan, only to be laughed at. He wakes up at 5:30 a.m. everyday and runs. He gets migraines. His favorite word is "Karma". Ryuji's pastimes and talents includes: memorization, cleaning and zen meditation. His average bath time is 20 minutes. He is a bit of a neat freak. He spends his days off by cleaning, meditating and about two hours of weight lifting and jogging. He worries about his tendency to glare. Ryuji's favorite music genres are: Rock, American/European and Japanese. If one looks closely, Ryuji, or a character resembling him, can be seen behind Mephisto Pheles in Chapter 1. He is also known as "Bon", which is short for "Bocchan" (which means "Young master").

Ryuji is a teenage boy, with a rough exterior and a small goatee on his chin, he is tall and buff. Some of his most distinguishable physical traits are his stern expression, (leaving him with a somewhat scary, unapproachable look) and the large blond streak that runs through his otherwise short and messy black hair. He has several piercings in both ears which, combined with his demeanor and hairstyle, give him the appearance of a stereotypical delinquent. He usually wears a beige vest with a pink "V" on the neck, over a white shirt. Along with a brown, black and white striped tie, and the standard True Cross Academy uniform jacket and pants. At times, for example, in school or during the Exwire exam, he has been shown having removed the jacket, and sometimes also the vest. During sports at school, he was seen wearing a maroon tracksuit, with the shirt unzipped, and a plain black shirt underneath. his closest friends are two boys who are monks in training along with him from his temple, Renzo Shima and Konekomaru Miwa. Shima is the most carefree character out of all the other Exwires and it's shown that he doesn't act as serious as the other Exorcists in serious situations, but yet has a fear of many things, mainly bugs; in fact, the Training Camp arc had him freaking out due to the large swarms of chuchi. He is shown to be very ticklish, often laughing at trivial things like when Rin points out that he, Konekomaru and Ryuji are always together. He is also a shameless pervert, being perfectly comfortable with buying dirty magazines even when a girl is the cashier. Renzo loves women and has a big obsession over them. He constantly acts perverted towards Izumo and Shiemi. Konekomaru seems to be very protective of the people who raised him, and watches out for people who may try to hurt his friends and family. Konekomaru is also seen to be somewhat of a peace-maker, He is also usually the one to reprimand Shima, though quietly, about his (Shima's) perverted habits.

Yukio Okumura

Yukio Okumura

Yukio Okumura, 22, is Rin's twin brother. Unlike his brother, he has not inherited Satan's powers. At birth, Yukio received a "spiritual wound" that allowed him to see demons from a young age. From the age of seven, he secretly trained to become an exorcist and thus be able to protect his brother. Although Yukio and Rin are in their first year of studies at True Cross Academy, Yukio is a teacher of anti-demon pharmacology in his brother's class. •Yukio is a genius who has two "Meister" titles, one of dragon and one of doctor. His personality is: • At first glance, Yukio is reserved, calm, and professional. He is often described as the opposite of his bold and brash older brother. He is studious, punctual, and frequently criticizes Rin for failings in classwork and protocol. Yukio is very serious, a personality trait that Shura Kirigakure calls a hazard in his profession when he keeps his feelings to himself. •Although friendly and polite to strangers, Yukio is argumentative and critical towards his family and friends (particularly Rin and Shura) and cold and threatening towards his enemies. •Yukio frequently uses deception to gain an advantage over stronger opponents. •Internally, Yukio deeply hates himself and becomes self-destructive. • He is ashamed of how he was once a shy and fearful child who cried a lot, he envied Rin and Shiro for their strength and courage as much as he loved them. •He resents losing and what he perceives as his own weakness, a sense of vulnerability amplified in confrontations with Saburota Todo, Lucifer, Renzo Shima and Lewin Light.

Eclipsa SVTFOE

Eclipsa SVTFOE

portrayed as calm, approachable, and sympathetic to young Moon's loss of her mother, despite her reputation as a queen of evil. Her demeanor toward Moon, however, provides little indication towards her true nature and motives, and she was initially hesitant to teach Moon her darkest spell. In "Stranger Danger", she bears no ill will toward her jailers, despite her long time in crystal captivity, and she displays a carefree, fun-loving attitude similar to Star's own. As of "Sweet Dreams", she maintains her calm demeanor and is more than willing to help Star, from warning her about the dangers of the castle laundry room to rescuing her from being trapped in a different dimension. She also has a playful side to her, casually telling Star to "call [her] a villainess" for her perceived crimes, then later responding to Marco's hostility with light-hearted teasing when the two of them first meet. Unlike most magic users in the show, Eclipsa takes a more academic approach to magic, exploring "dark magics" for the sake of knowledge rather than malice. She notably encourages Star to ride out her unconscious Mewberty transformations to discover what they mean, and states her opinion is that "all knowledge is good knowledge". Even after three centuries, Eclipsa has no regrets about abandoning her own kingdom and lawful husband, King Shastacan, for a monster. She cares deeply for her monster husband Globgor and is determined to discover the whereabouts of their daughter, Meteora. When she finally does locate Meteora, she attempts to convince her to halt her rampage, and prevents Moon from killing her. But when it becomes clear that Meteora cannot be reasoned with, Eclipsa, with a heavy heart, attempts to do the job herself. She is initially heartbroken when she appears to succeed, then overjoyed to learn that her attack only regressed Meteora back to her infant self. This sense of doing what is best for the people over what is best for herself is evident again in "Surviving the Spiderbites" where she expresses a resigned willingness to sacrifice her attempts to reunite with Globgor if it means putting her allies at ease. Her love for Globgor was most notably shown when despite how dangerous Mewni was, she demanded the dimensional scissors from Hekapoo to go back and help him anyways. She has a fondness for chocolate bars and roses, consuming a whole bucket of Snookers bars over the course of an afternoon. In "The Ponyhead Show!", Eclipsa shows a strong sense of self-pride, stating that she would rather be hated being herself than be loved and adored pretending to be someone else. In "Junkin' Janna", she has an intolerance towards people being tardy and prefers punctuality, evident by how she complained about the Magic High Commission being late with annoyance. She has also shown to be quite impulsive at times, such as when "negotiating" with Rhombulus in "Swim Suit", and is shown to resort to using dark magic to achieve her goals when desperate. By the end of the episode, however, she comes to realize this aspect of her personality only further deepens the huge degrees of mistrust people have for her, and she strives to change her ways. Eclipsa also demonstrates a great willingness to forgive others; she forgave Moon for her coup in "Pizza Party", and she also reconciles with the ghost of her mother Solaria in "Cleaved".
