Shadow the hedgehog is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with black fur that covers most of its body. Six large and long needles can be seen on the back of his head, four of which bend up and two down. You can also see some red stripes on its needles. Shadow's eyes are pointed in shape with red irises and large red lines at the corners of the eyes. The muzzle is a standard tanned color, as is his skin inside the ears. The nose, as well as all representatives of its species, is medium-sized and black in color. Shadow has white fur on his chest. Like all hedgehogs like him, he also has two needles protruding from his shoulder blades and a small tail. There are also long red stripes on the arms and legs on the sides. Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red plates as his clothes. Cuffs and gloves are separated by gold rings. He has white shoes called "Air Shoes" with black backs and golden soles in red metal frames. On the sole, you can see the nozzles of the engines, thanks to the exhaust energy of which the hedgehog moves. There is a small cutout between the heel and the main sole. He's a brooding loner, to put it bluntly. He usually acts with cold and businesslike indifference, only occasionally showing his vulnerable side. Hedgehog rarely meets with others for a long period of time and usually distances himself from almost everyone, even when in company. He's usually rude and doesn't say much, but he always knows exactly what to say in a fight. However, Shadow never bluffs. If the hedgehog is going to threaten, then it does it to the fullest. Shadow is also not averse to bragging about how strong he is, calling himself "The Ultimate Life Form" and, like Sonic, can be extremely arrogant, often belittling his opponents and insulting their lack of strength. He believes that no one can beat him, and tends to see someone as weak, challenging him. The hedgehog is ruthless and merciless in battle, which is not enough for all other characters, and shows a natural "killer instinct". Shadow's infamous ruthlessness and aggression lead to fear and anxiety, which causes some characters to refuse to believe the hero's words or help him in battle. Numerous characters from the series have shown an absolute fear of meeting him. Hedgehog's enemies never treat him lightly; he is one of the very few characters that Sonic takes seriously and sometimes acts really hostile towards him. He does everything necessary to get what he wants or thinks is right, although this enthusiasm makes him take risks in situations without thinking about the consequences.
