Roberto Daniel Musso Focaccio was born in 1962 in Montevideo and grew up with his younger brother, Ricardo Musso, and his sister listening to records by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin, bands of which they were fans and which inspired and influenced Ricardo and him to become musicians. Today, Roberto confirms that he also feels weird, but not because of his musical tastes, but because he does not drink mate (a typical Rioplatense infusion), considering himself "weird even for Uruguayans themselves." Roberto Musso, "Roberto IV" as he says, comes from his great-grandfather, grandfather and father, all called "Roberto".
