Reo is very charismatic, friendly, quick-witted, and ambitious. He has shown to be quite an extrovert and was quite popular in high school, with dozens of admirers. Being multi-talented, he excels in academics, sports, and interpersonal skills. Due to his excellent demeanor as the heir to a multi-billion dollar company, Reo also displays business skills, which he uses to his advantage. Such as putting together his own soccer team at school in a matter of days by promising that they would be able to meet cute idols, or opening a food market in the Blue Lock cafeteria to strengthen the unity of his teammates and earn their trust. Intelligence is a very notable trait of his character, as not only was he the top student in his class, but he also took on the role of Team V's strategist and was able to improvise on the spot when faced with stronger opponents. Reo can be a bit self-centered as he tends to put his own goals above everything else, which led to him convincing Nagi, who was initially uninterested in soccer, to play with him. While he welcomes new challenges and experiences, he becomes deeply upset when things don't go his way, possibly due to his wealthy upbringing. Overall, he seems to feel every emotion at full force and is very aware of his own faults, as evident in several instances of painful breakdowns shown in the spin-off manga. Due to his high emotionality, he can even become enraged when he loses his temper, as seen when he elbows Raichi Jingo after some teasing. Overall, Reo is a friendly and intelligent young man who knows what he wants out of life and will pursue it until he is satisfied.
