Who is Anko Koshi?

Anko Koshi (虎視 餡子, ​​Koshi Anko) is Torako Koshi's younger sister and a first-year student at Hino Minami High School. She is one of the members of the Deer Club and is one of the main characters of the Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan series who made her debut in "Deer Meets Dark Girl".

Appearance

Anko literally has the same attributes as her sister Torako. The difference is that she has hair that is slightly longer than her shoulders, a dark purple color, and a gray wool sailor uniform with a yellow scarf. She is also seen wearing a navy blue overalls-type uniform that has a bow to replace the scarf. She has an "assassin mode" where her eyes turn into a target-like pattern with a glowing red in the middle.

Personality

Anko is best known for her sister complex towards her older sister, Koshi Torako. Although it is still not explained how she came to be this way, she admits to being very obsessed with everything related to her sister, from her worst traits to her best. Her personal goal in life is to always be by her sister's side 24/7, much to the latter's dismay and embarrassment. She will not hesitate to try to murder anyone who comes close to Torako, though not even she can convince her to stop. The only time she makes an exception for someone else getting close to her sister was when she attempted to stab Noko in the heart with a kunai, only to see, to her surprise, that her sister cares deeply for Noko and has decided that someone else, for once, was also worthy of supporting Torako together, side by side.

Talent

Great Intellect - Much like her sister, she is a person with great intelligence, as she was able to teach herself how to set traps and use kunais as a means of self-defense (albeit for all the wrong reasons). Another notable example was when she was able to come up with a paragraph relevant to a question in 60 words when asked on the spot. SKILL SET Weapon Handling: Anko is adept at arming herself with her collection of kunai when facing potential opponents. Trap Setting: Anko is also very skilled at placing traps around her victims. Host: During the Sports Festival Arc, Anko was one of the hosts/teachers of the school's sports festival.

Trivia

Her first name, Anko, refers to the Japanese red bean paste dessert. She is voiced by Rui Tanabe, who also voiced Mafuyu Asahina in Project Sekai. In "Deer Meets Dark Girl" it is revealed that Anko is an expert at using kunai and setting successful traps. She indirectly reveals in "Enrollment Hiccup" that she is fifteen years old. As of the same episode, she and Meme Bashame are now first-year students and have transferred to Hino Minami High School from their respective high schools. In Chapter 6, it is revealed that Anko has a collection of sewing patches that Torako used to mend Noko's torn jacket. In the author's notes at the end of Chapter 25, Anko reveals that she took her sister's first-year uniform instead of buying her own.
