description of the level (1/2)
Level 331 has the physical appearance of a run-down suburban town at night. The sky, in addition to all light sources within the level, glows a bright red. The level's physical environment is inconsistent, as the streets and buildings seem to shift and change form constantly, with very few constant landmarks. The buildings within Level 331 typically resemble normal, small houses but can sometimes appear as larger houses, small convenience stores, and apartment complexes. In addition, physical landmarks such as signage, phone booths, benches, and mailboxes can appear. On rare occasion, an empty car or van will slowly drive down the streets, which are covered in graffiti and trash. All living things within this place become entirely "blacked out," resembling silhouettes. This applies to both wanderers and the entities that are native to Level 331. This process does not seem to cause any harm or have any impact on one's faculties, but can still be a hindrance to determining if someone you see is a threat or not. This aspect of Level 331 seemingly does not fully apply to the beings found within the level, as some elements of their bodies are visibly red. Remaining inside a building for more than an hour will gradually cause the building to deteriorate. At first, strange noises will begin to emanate from other areas within the building. Then small amounts of damage will take place: windows will start to inexplicably crack or the hinges of cabinets will come loose. Then more substantial damage will take place, with floors breaking and caving in or the hinges of locks and doors rusting away. The utilities of the house will begin to lose their function, and the building will either become far too hot or far too cold. Beyond this point, the house will simply begin to collapse. This level seems to have a moon, which has been observed to sometimes "blink." For brief moments, very rarely, the level will be entirely engulfed in darkness. During this time, the physical

layout of the level and the locations of entities will randomly change.
the kids (1/2)
Like all life forms within Level 331, the "Kids" manifest as silhouettes, which resemble short and skinny humanoid figures that appear to be wearing hoodies and some kind of round, smooth plastic mask. These masks have some very faint red scratch marks on them. If the mask is removed, the face of a Kid can be observed, which is simply darkness with a glowing red smile. You will most often be unable to see them, as they tend to stick to the shadows and observe wanderers from a distance. Remaining out on the streets outside of houses and buildings for too long seems to enable them to attack. The Kids attack in groups of one to four and, at first, will do harmless actions to you, such as pushing you onto the floor, laughing at you, throwing eggs at you, or sneaking up behind you and scaring you. Where the Kids obtain these objects is unclear. If you remain outside after they do this, they will become more violent. Typically, this consists of them stabbing you with a small, sharp object a single time, hitting you over the head with a glass bottle, stealing your items and clothing, or just physically punching and kicking you. The Kids will only ever do one of these actions at a time, violent or not. They will run up, do one of them, and then run off for a while before repeating. Wherever they appear, they seem to leave behind an ashy black substance. After a while of sitting around, the individual ash particles will quickly vanish into the dark in a way that resembles tiny spiders scurrying away. These entities will not attempt to attack or even acknowledge a wanderer if they are within a building. It is assumed that they have some reason to avoid entering or damaging the houses. One theory suggests the houses "belong" to the Devils, and thus the Kids fear retribution if they trespass. The Kids are not a lethal threat alone, but due to them being omnipresent within the level, you will never be fully safe if you are out on the streets. As such, they are the most

prevalent and constant threat should you end up at this level. Hiding within buildings works to keep them at bay, but spending too long within a building will cause it to deteriorate. You have to keep moving constantly to avoid them.
the devils
The Devils also manifest as silhouettes, gaining the appearance of a muscular humanoid entity with characteristics resembling those of a demon. They're usually about 3 meters tall and have large horns. They have a small portion of their bodies glowing red, sporting small red dots on their faces that resemble glowing beady eyes. Unlike the Kids, the Devils seemingly have no direct interest in wanderers. Instead, they can mostly be spotted searching for the Kids, to torment them or provoke them into fighting one another. This can consequentially lead to them finding the locations of hiding wanderers. These beasts appear to exhibit a greater sense of awareness than the Kids. Despite ignoring humans, for the most part, they will not hesitate to shove you out of the way or even kill you should you disturb them. There seem to be far fewer of the "Devils" than the "Kids, but they do not bother hiding in the shadows. It should be noted that the Devils will appear within a building as it begins to deteriorate, silently observing the wanderer remaining inside. If the building collapses, the Devil will vanish.
the boogeyman
Not much is known about the Boogeyman other than the fact that it is a large humanoid figure with a trench coat and hat. It has been observed stalking wanderers from a distance and stealing away the Kid entities, making them disappear or reappear in other parts of the level. The Devils seem to be afraid of it, while the Kids seem unaware of its existence. It has no red glowing parts or elements to its appearance, making some believe it to be human. From what we understand about the entities within Level 331, they cannot leave the level. The only entities that have been observed besides the ones listed here are [[[entity-3|Smilers]]. Smilers found within Level 331 glow a bright red instead of white. They don't seem to be involved in the ecosystem between the native entities of the level.
entrances
There is a black gate drawn in sharpie that can be found in [[[Level 330]], which takes you to Level 331. In rare instances, a window in Level 188 will glow a bright red, which can lead into Level 331.
exits
A long route can be taken by walking exclusively in between buildings for a long period of time. If you can escape the Kids that will be attempting to chase you, you will eventually reach a large, wide-open area of flat land. The only things that will be visible are the pitch-black ground and the crimson sky. Walk out into this area for a while, and then the moon will go dark, engulfing you in shadow. Open your eyes, and you find yourself in a new level—most often Level 332. It's also possible to be taken to [[[Level 9]].
